I can understand where Vince is coming from, but he needs to realize that when his company is slumping is NOT the time to be riding the edge. In late 97 it was Austin's popularity that brought the fans back and the big changes more than the T&A that brought the fans back. I think the Ganso Bomb started as an "oops" but quickly became a move. It's actually a selectable move in Smackdown 2 for the Playstation. Except they call it Jacknife Powerbomb #1, but it's still a headfirst powerbomb.

Let me bring this into the mix. It's been brought up on other threads. How often does Edge lose face to put over his opponent? How often do you find Edge not regaining his heat after a match or segment? Only one comes to mind and that was Jericho slamming the chair into Edge's shoulder, but other than that when has Edge let his opponent go out looking good?

That move wasn't a shoot or a mistake. It was a GANSO BOMB it's supposed to look like that. They use the move in Japan a lot.

Has anyone noticed that out of Jim Cornette's heel stable of '96 (Yokozuna, Vader, Owen, and Bulldog) that most of them have died? Someone warn Vader and Cornette! I'm not trying to make light of this, but this was brought up to me on a chat room. Eerie isn't it?

I know this is a late reply, but the AAA La Parka is not the same one that was in WCW. He's what I guess you could call La Parka II. Only events I've been to are Smackdown in Houston from Apr. 16th 2002 and a WCW house show in Abilene in March of 2000.

Usually I like this guy, but he needs to realize what all mainstream newscasters need to realize.......IF YOU DON'T KNOW JACK ABOUT WRESTLING DON'T TALK ABOUT IT. First off he needs to realize the Beverly's weren't gay. Second he obviously hasn't watched in years since he didn't even mention Goldust. He probably just heard rumors about the Gay Wedding. WWf was in much worse trouble in 93-96 and came out just fine. It pisses me off when people try to act like they know everything about wrestling when they're obviously ignorant. How did the ceremony promote gay bashing when Stephanie was the brunt of the Island Boys attack? The HLA segment wasn't even really what you could call gay bashing cause they weren't attacked for being gay. What is O'Reiley's email address that you can send comments to for his show?

I didn't think it was that bad. For being a gay stylist it served it's purpose. I thought his sayings and mannerisms in the ring at the beginning of the ceremony were great.

Oh I have no problem with Edge eventually main eventing and I want him to be upper midcard right now. I just am not getting a whole lot out of him lately, but hope that he does develop. I wasn't necessarily talking of RVD alone. Angle mostly and RVD.
