Oh I think Smallville will make gains in ratings next season because the Smallville finale was awesome and definitely set up what could be an awesome Season.

Oh and Angel was the only WB show to actually show a gain in ratings this year. Makes me even more mad that it was cancelled. Don't get me wrong. I love Smallville.

The excerpt is great, made better by the fact that when I read it, it sounds like crazy old man Flair cutting a promo in the ring. Hmm...if that's what Flair said (excluding the end part in the quote of course) then I lost a lot of respect for him. First off he makes it sound like Foley came up with the "Lost in Cleveland" skits and really made it seem like he wasn't even paying attention to Foley before becoming a booker. Which raises the question of why would someone who doesn't even pay attention to his fellow wrestlers become a booker? EDIT: Okay maybe he didn't make it seem like Foley came up with the skits, but he didn't seem to care what Foley had done leading up to that with Vader at all, which was some of Foley's best work. Then he bashes Foley as if Foley had no training other than falling off things. He acts like Foley never had to endure hard work outs or live out of his car! Then he goes on to say that Foley can't punch or kick or wrestle a good match? Has Flair ever watched a Foley match in his life? Did he even read "Have a Nice Day" or did someone else point out the quote to him? He seemingly knows nothing about Foley's training or his road to becoming a wrestler. He came off very ignorant. It's one thing if Flair believes that Foley was wrong to say what he said or if he believes that Foley is too much of a hardcore wrestler, but the fact that Flair came off as not even knowing what he was talking about hurts his credibility.

It must have been a boring trial. How did he shave himself while sitting back there? You'd have to look at it while doing that so that you don't nick something important.

JBL looks okay now that he's groomed himself and I would buy him as champ of SmackDown. By that I mean a) SmackDown is already in the shitter anyways; I'm just waiting for the belt to be handed to Mordecai and b) I'm not going to actually "buy" anything, so it makes no difference. So WWE is going to "murder" Paul Bearer and we're supposed to just assume that no one gets punished for it storyline wise? I guess that should be expected of WWE seeing as Shane McMahon tried to kill Kane many times as well as other attempted murders over the years. The Dudley Boys smashing a concrete Paul Bearer into pieces would actually be kind of funny seeing as in real life being enclosed in concrete wouldn't make you fall to pieces when smashed...oh and the Dudleys could claim they were hardcore because they killed a man!

If the XBOX 2 doesn't have a Hard Drive, but it DOES have backwards compatability...then how will you use custom soundtracks when playing XBOX 1 games on XBOX 2? I guess you won't, but that sucks.

I don't think ADD is fake, but there are a lot of people who are misdiagnosed simply because the parents have no control over their kids and don't know what to do, so they equate their kids' behavior with ADD. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club for a year and some of the kids I saw you could tell had ADD and the others were just kids who's parents had no idea how to raise a child and the child was out of control as a result. Those parents would always come in and say they thought their kid might have ADD. I wanted to say, "No...you just let your kid get away with murder and he's taking advantage of it!" The thing is a kid being unruly and a kid having actual trouble focusing is two different things, but some people just don't get it.

I wonder what a Jake the Snake Roberts book would be like? Is there one already? If there ever was one I'd want him to write it himself just to see what he'd say.

Oh I want to read it too, but I guess you'll always have those guys in wrestling that have their antagonists that they will always talk bad about and when it boils down it has nothing to do with actual ring skill and more about personal feelings.
