Well since this was bumped first a month ago, I don't feel as bad for bumping it again. I picked up the UFC 44 DVD and just watched it, and wow was that a great show. Not one bad fight on the show. It's nice that I could see Sylvia and Arlovsky fight so I could put the names in perspective and get pumped for their upcoming match. What can I say about the main event that hasn't already been said? Tito was just dominated. Randy must have taken him down 6 or 7 times, mounted him, took his back I think 2 or 3 times (nearly choking him out), it was just total domination. Oh and the only thing better than Randy's spanking was one of the bonus features of Randy entering his lockeroom postmatch and having his team laughing and saying "you spanked him?" and Randy answering "I dont know" and then bursting out laughing. Great, great show and it makes me want to see Randy get his rematch with Vitor as soon as possible because he deserves it. I've seen 43, 44 and 46 and really liked all of them (even though 46 had the bullshit main event), and I can't wait for 47!

Don't forget WMXV which was the first ever DVD WWF ever put out!

This is all Eddie's fault...better put the other title on HHH too before they drop worse!

He didn't say that. He said he "thought" it might be what he was born for, and that he was trying to find out. Actually, Brock's exact words were: "There's some nights I lay in bed and really believe God put me on this earth to be a professional wrestler." Or at least that was on the tape. Maybe he has ADD. "Now I want to be a football player!" A year from now, he'll form a rock band...

Shit, Downhome's got a point with the Brock/Goldberg situation alone they have another special on their hands, but I doubt they have the time to set up a filming just 2 days before...

This was just so incredibly cool. What an excellent, emotional documentary. The candid interviews are tremendous. Austin was near tears in his segment. Isn't it funny how whenever documentary cameras are around for something, all this heavy stuff goes down? It happened here, Wrestling With Shadows was doing a documentary on Bret that turned into chronicling the Montreal screwjob. If I can use a Metallica example too, a documentary crew was going to film the making of their new album and they happened to be there when the bassist quits and the singer/guitarist goes to rehab and the band has therapy sessions. It's funny how that always works out. But yeah, this makes the Mania XX DVD a must buy now. It would be really cool to see the extended version, but I doubt it. And it would be cool if WWE did more of these documentaries, but with Vince's new philosophy of everyone keeping kayfabe in the media and not doing shoot interviews, I doubt we'll see it...

Jericho: Hey, Trips I printed out this page from TheSmartMarks, what's this about admitting to steroid use and saying it's as safe as jumping jacks? Flair: C'mon Jericho, I already told 'em there's no steroids, right champ? HHH: HHHonk, yeah, I bet that will get the kids on their computers talking! Orton: ...man, this Anglesault guy really doesn't like me...

Examples of racism? Does comparing the Koran to Mein Kampf count? Oreilly makes an excellent point. The issue is was a school FORCING the kids as part of the MANDATORY curriculum to read the Koran to "better understand the enemy", Bill rightfully pointed out how ridiculous it is to FORCE them to read it, and compared it to forcing kids to read Mein Kampf during WWII to "understand our enemy". He proved to be right, and the school made it optional reading. Just because you don't like Bill stop taking things he says out of context to make him look bad...
-
Just wanted to comment that I have read Oreilly's 3rd book (I dont have it here with me at school so I can't quote it) but I will be the 3rd to verify that the "humpcaps" comment was taken completely out of context (Bill was volunteering his time to host a black youth charity I think to raise money for inner city kids something like that) and misunderstood (I think the kids were late or something and he was asked to stall for them so he referenced some comic or cartoon or something joking if they were stealing humpcaps, it had nothing to do with race) and indeed the book verifies that not only were the people in charge of this event totally behind him but invited him back to host next year's event and indeed the Post had to retract the story. Continue on, I just don't like it when people libel someone to prove a point...

The reason people like the conservative shows is because they're entertaining! No one wants to hear Al Franken and Geneene Gawafhoweverthehellyouspeelit whine for 3 hours about Iraq...
