    Look, every one keeps saying "hey let's send a list of players for the final rounds!" and yet no one has done so. If anyone wants to send me a list of players for the final pick or 2, you're more than welcome to. I'll call Saturday at midnight the deadline for getting this done, since rosters have to be set for Monday. Any picks we don't get to I will just assign the highest ranked player according to Yahoo. If you want to prevent this, you can send me a short list of preferred players and I'd be happy to substitute your top choice available instead. Everybody ok with this?

    And, with that, my active drafting is over, as my last 2 rounds are keeper picks.

     

    So...if you guys want to PM me lists or something that's fine. Otherwise, we can keep up the 24 hours rule before skipping and then that person can pick whenever he comes back (right now pinjockey is in that situation). We're cutting it close, but I think we'll make it to opening day.

    Well... Will Scarlett and Cuban Linx did send me a list of players for when they couldn't make the (failed) chat....so....I'm assuming these are still their picks....so I will post them....if there's a problem they can let me know, but I think I can move forward:

    OK, folks, if you want I've created an AIM chat room, you can join. I'm not sure if you can join yourself (its chat1174265771493), but you can PM me your screen name and I can invite you. I'll just sort of be hanging out, listening to Wrestling Observer Live with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez from 8-10 in the background (www.sportsbyline.com in case you didn't know), so if you're looking for something to listen to while waiting for picks, there you go. Ok, let's see if we can finish this tonight!

    Um...someone want to tell iggy he need to come back and make a pick? Come on people just do a search on the other thread.

     

    Anyway, I've gotten 10 people confirmed for this evening, around 9PM ET (2 people suggested this was better than 8) and 2 others who have sent me a list of picks for them. Anyone who hasn't responded please let me know if you can make it, because this kind of needs to be an all or nothing type deal.

    Or, how about this, would you mind compiling a list of say 8-12 players that you'd like to fill out your team, and sending them to me, and I can use that list to make your picks?

    Hah! Actually, if it makes anybody feel better, out of my next 5 picks, 3 are already chosen as keeper (Delmon Young, Josh Johnson and Nick Markakis), so I'm only making 2 more picks and I know exactly at least what kind of players I want for those spots, so there's very little influencing left to be done for me!
