MNM with the win after the Snapshot.

JBL wins after an exposed turnbuckle attack, followed by the clothesline from hell.
-
JBL/Hardy to start things off. Think about this, last year, JBL was MAIN EVENTING this event.

Couple of reasons. 1. Nobody likes to trip or leap over wires when they're crossing in front of somebody playing a video game. 2. Much easier cleanup - no wires everywhere. 3. Much more conducive to a "pimped out" gaming setup; if you've got your Xbox hooked up to a projector for Halo 2, you want to be able to have some space to enjoy it. It does seem like a silly waste...until you pick up the Wavebird or the Logitech wireless PS2 controller and realize how convenient it is. Also, and this is from my sister's husband...certain pets try to chew on the wires. His cats did that.

Either the new Jinx Brothers or the lost children of...(deep inhale, bite the air) Goldust.

Only 1,102 for me thus far. I'll bang out at least another 5,000 words before 10 though. ...yes, I'm a procrastinator. So sue me.

Well, I think the theory is that, when the guy on the losing streak finally gets a win, it'll be a mark-out moment. Like, for me, it was when Barry Horowitz beat Skip in 95.
-
Is that Dave Hebner or Earl Hebner? I think it's Dave, just making sure though.
-
Well, at least it looks like they're FINALLY going to end this Raven/Zybyzsko thing.
-
You forgot TNA management and Mike Tenay.
-
I liked that staredown between Jarrett and Joe.
-
That was, as far as I know, only released on WWE Anthology Disk 3.

Yes, he used the Zapper as a weapon. And I believe in the comics an evil version of Captain N with Super Nintendo gear was made, though I could be wrong.

WWF Breakdown: In Your House

Austin would later repeat this exact same thing with Chris Jericho at No Way Out 2002. Ah, so THAT'S why Hogan and the nWo attacked him...Austin was stealing his schtick! -
Scorpion Death Drop Larry Zybyszko and tell him that he's been replaced.

For those talking about a NOES Prequel... Didn't they do that already on that TV show "hosted" by Krueger?
-
No no no no NO. Everyone's missing the TRUE choice for GM. The one that will swerve us all, like Eric Bischoff did before. The NEW Raw GM will be none other than... BRUNO SAMMARTINO! ...or Bob Backlund. I'd LOVE to see Backlund as GM.

OK...I don't think I ever found this information out but... What the heck is ring announcer Funyon's first name? I need to know for my match.
-
They could always put the old game cartoons on the channel. You know...Pac-Man, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Captain N, the Saturday Morning Sonic cartoon...strike a deal with 4Kids to get Sonic X shown maybe (that would draw the younger audience maybe)...I'm sure there's more not coming to me. Oh, and they could bring back Portal and the Starcade reruns.
-
"Captain N: The Game Master" Was often packaged with the Super Mario Bros. show of the time (Either 3 or World. The Super Mario Bros. Super Show had a whole half hour to itself)
-
Well, there was Starcade...where you played popular arcade games of the time.
-
They kinda did reference that story back in the Weekly PPV days. Shane Douglas came to TNA to feud with Raven, angry that Raven was going for a prize that he threw down years ago.
-
You know what they SHOULD have given away with the DVD on Shopzone? A pair of Hitman Sunglasses like he used to give away. I always wanted a pair of those.
-
Naw, he looked kinda crappy because that Clash could've used some work. I'll give props to Styles though because I didn't think he'd be able to get him up at all. He got D'Amore up for a Styles Clash attempt once. I'm sure D'Amore weighs MUCH more than Samoa Joe, even though most of D'Amore's is in fat.

The real "WTF" here was why UT did a back bump on an RKO. Almost as bad as the time someone sold a scissors kick with a back bump. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought he sold it quite awkwardly. But with all the bad stunner sells over the years, I'm numb to bad neckbreaker/cutter sells. Slightly off topic. Did Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig ever take the Stunner? And if so, did he do his "Cartwheel" style selling of the move?
