Who else has this happened to? I seem to recall CM Punk dodging both of those, for one counter-example. Mr. Kennedy I think is the biggest example. Reagal? Regal wasn't exactly a "New guy" when they started his push as King GM.

Is it wrong for me to want to see Natalya come out to The Big Boss Man's theme while she's in that costume?

Well, Joel barely looks like he did either. For Trace...he looked close to how he looked in the DVD bonus for "The Giant Gila Monster" -
I like how Rey is wearing WCW colors tonight. Why the non full head masks for Rey recently though, I wonder.

I find it weird that WWE is promoting a show that airs opposite of Raw. And I've seen this trick on a David Copperfield special when I was younger.

One thing I would like to see them TRY to do in the next DVD set... A little "debate" segment thing. Tom Servo (Weinstein) vs. Tom Servo (Murphy) and Crow (Trace) vs. Crow (Bill) -

The History of MST segment is interesting. Something I laughed about during the Comic-Con interview panel Kevin tells a story about a person who wrote in, saying they were in a coma and MST brought him out of it. The response? <Mike>Michael Bay I believe it was. -

I was that way when I first hung out with New Jack. I honestly didn't know what to expect but not pissing him off or upsetting him was probably the best thing I could do around him. Turns out he was really fun to hang out with and a good story teller. Just make sure that you don't owe him money, I guess. And when he asks for 7-Up, you DON'T give him a Sprite insted. -
Character Moments That Now Make You Cringe or Shudder

Before the Benoit incident, for me, the cringing came with how many times Joey Styles said Mike Awesome could die and such. -

I'm assuming that creative probably had nothing to do for him on Raw. He didn't seem like a good fit on Raw anyways, way to much going on, on that show for him to really get noticed again. I think putting D-Lo on ECW would be the best show to use him on. With Bourne possibly out on injury, that seems like a good move to me as well. D-Lo could temporarily take Bourne's spot. Could ease perfectly into a feud with Mark Henry too, as they used to be running buddies. -

Actually, there's about four matches in a row at that WrestleMania that has at least one if not two participants that are deceased. Demolition vs. Tenryu & Kitao: Crush (not sure if either Japanese wrestler has passed) The afformtentioned IC Title match Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. Earthquake: Quake Legion of Doom vs. Power & Glory: both Hawk and Hercules. Also, the second and third matches on the card Dino Bravo vs. The Texas Tornado: Both British Bulldog vs. Warlord: Bulldog. -
Aw come on...what about...RICKY ORTIZ!

Classy that they did the "In Memory Of" for SD Jones. ...am I missing something with Long playing "Ron Burgandy"?

Off topic, this makes me wonder... How would a Bret of 1995/6 vs. Taker of today match have gone? -

So, if you had Diesel win the title at the Royal Rumble (keep in mind these were the days before they started to do the monthly PPV events...that wouldn't come until after the next WrestleMania), then what would Bret Hart have done for that show? -
I keep picturing the MEM out on the streets beating up random people while wearing suits and hats because of that name. Sting would just stand there doing nothing like always. And in a related segment, Scott Hall returns just to utter the line "Say 'ello to my lil' friend!"

Hearing Striker say the word Lethargic makes me wanna see Striker bust out the old style Gorilla Monsoon medical terms.

I have to admit though...as a kid, I liked seeing Backlund lose the title in 8 Seconds. -
Looks like Smackdown will be the Halloween show, with Undertaker being in a Casket Match.

Oh, and I fear a potential Tony Atlas/Hornswoggle match

Hmm. Looks like they're building to Matt/Chavo now.

The Time Is Now... to Change Cena's Theme
ChrisMWaters replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in The WWE Folder
As for the "Basic Thuganomics" vs. "The Time is Now" argument... One thing "The Time is Now" has over "Basic Thuganomics." The latter can't be done Marching Band, I don't think.
