Heh...Striker brings up Repo Man and Bastion Booger.

No, no we don't. Listen, if we could have the 2008 versions of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper in the Royal Rumble, we can have Boogeyman in the Rumble. I didn't say he should WIN it though.

I'd love to see Tommy just snap one day and go crazy old school ECW on everyone. Violently beating people with weapons in the back, bloodying them... Basically doing to everyone what Raven did to him back in the day.

We need Boogeyman in the Royal Rumble this year, IMO.

Didn't you get points for him talking at the beginning of the show?

I'd be surprised if Evan didn't legit hurt his leg just then.

I like the idea of qualifying for the opportunity to be voted for. Kinda like how they started to do Royal Rumble Qualifying Matches a few years back.

    Lance Cade gets future endeavor'd

I smell a Cade/Murdoch reunion in the indies! Or TNA.

    ECW on Sci-Fi - October 14, 2008

So if we're getting ECW Cyber Sunday info, we're getting one of two things: 1)The most likely choice...ECW Title, Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry, fans choose stipulation. or 2)ECW Title, Matt Hardy vs. either Mark Henry or one of two other choices. I would say they might do what they did for the IC Title match at the first Taboo Tuesday and have the entire ECW roster eligible for voting on who would face Matt Hardy, but since this is texting insted of online, that won't work.

I can understand Batista not finding a shirt that fits. But couldn't he have at least put on some pants?

I'm just wondering why the gave Knoxville another chance in WWE, considering that thing with Umaga he did back in the day. Or am I mixing up people? Erin Esurance > most WWE people.

I think this is only the second time that I've ever seen a disqualification in a Lumberjack Match.

Was fun to hear that music again. EDIT: Though...now I'm picturing a feud between Hulk Hogan and JBL...debating what America is REALLY about...

    The Next WWE Superstar

I kinda hope that DiBiase and Rhodes become bigger name stars like Orton did. If they improve enough, I wouldn't even mind a world title feud between the two of them (something that never happened with MDM/Dusty)

For the people who don't like Hardy?

    Let's talk about Lex, baby.

I kinda liked Lex and Bulldog as The Allied Powers, for the record. I was kinda dissapointed when Lex jumped to WCW because then we'd never get Lex's view on Bulldog's heel turn that was promised for the Superstars that would have aired the week that Lex jumped that was promised the previous Saturday. Then again, I was still young at the time.

Let's PRAY WWE doesn't got THAT route with Natalya. It didn't work for Molly, it won't work for her. ...*sighs, and fantasizes about Molly and Natalya together.

It's older than that too. *Remembers the whole Cena/Show feud for the US Title...that lasted I think about half a year. I know that feud was going on during "Tribute to the Troops"...and the title match wasn't until WrestleMania XX

WWE General Discussion - October 2008

I had a weird thought just now while re-watching the Royal Rumbles since the first one. Let's say that Glamarella is still together by the time that the Royal Rumble comes about. Do you think that WWE would have Beth enter, if just to "protect" Santino in the match?

Didn't we already get that when Vince McMahon had his first match?

So...what will these "Pop-up Helms" moments eventually lead to?
  25. OK...rewatching eps of Justice League and JLU have made me ponder this: What would be some possible movies that can be made of DC Universe characters? I'll list three "Big" choices first: Wonder Woman: With an upcoming animated movie release coming out, I'm starting to wonder if it's finally time for Hollywood to get its act back together to give the Amazon princess a live-action movie of her own. For a first installment, I could easily see them focusing more on the ancient Greece aspect of her character rather than the contemporary villains she faces in "man's world". The only trick would be finding the right woman for the part... Green Lantern: Here, you have 3 (four if you wanna go an alternate route and do the ORIGINAL Green Lantern) possible choices for the story: Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner or John Stewart. In any case of the choice...this would be a more fantastical, space based story to do, and with CGI having improved for a while now, the effects of the ring in real life could be very interesting. The Flash: A little bit more tricky to do...or maybe not (I never saw the short-lived Flash TV series, so I don't know how well a film version would do). Nevertheless, you have 2 (or 3...again, if you choose to do the ol' Mercury helmet Flash) choices here...Barry Allen or Wally West. This hero could be the wisecracker that the movie Spidey SHOULD have been in fights. ...though I can't see some of his villains (Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold, Grodd) translating well to the big screen. Aquaman: ...you may laugh at this choice, but here's something that people tend to forget: he has to patrol 3/4 of the planet. And he doesn't necessarily have to be portrayed as a pure hero. The 90s Superman cartoon, as well as Justice League, portrayed him as somewhat of a jerk. A little bit playing up on that could possibly work. Now for some lesser ones I thought of. Blackhawks: Could be a fun period piece... Zatanna/Dr. Fate: Two seperate characters I included as one here...not enough mystical heroes out there, IIRC. Doom Patrol: A team of heroes that could serve as a "testing ground" movie of sorts to a possible Justice League movie in the future. The Atom: ...hey if Marvel's planning an Ant Man movie, why not? EDIT: Captain Marvel. Mix Superman with a child like innocence...having a kid having to act like an adult when a hero...could be a pretty fun movie. Thoughts?
