Discussion: Possible DC Universe Movies
ChrisMWaters replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in Television & Film
Question is...let's say that they decide to do a DC Animated adaptation of CoIE. How much of the book do you cut and such? Some things that could be cut are things that tie in to other books...that weren't included with the Trade Paperback I bought (like references to an issue of Omega Men...or that substory with Guy Gardner that was apparently revealed in the Green Lantern comics.). I could see Earth 3's death being trimmed down a bit as well, to just before Alex Luthor launches his son between dimensions. EDIT: Also, for "double characters"...like the two Supermen, for example, do you use the same voice actor...or two different ones? -

I'm hoping that a Green Lantern movie will do well. Maybe then they would get to do more GOOD DC mainstream heroes movies that are good. Insted of just having Superman, Batman...and that's about it for DC mainstream heroes with good movies...while you also have Steel hiding on it's body like a pimple on the ass. Jonah Hex sounds like it could be interesting...and if it works, maybe it'd lead to the Blackhawk movie idea I put in the early parts of this thread. -
WWE General Discussion - October 2008
ChrisMWaters replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Here's something I wanted to get people's opinion on. Does anyone here besides me think that Jericho's hairdo kinda contradicts his serious persona that he has? I mean, I could understand that if he was still acting Y2Jish or such...but now it kinda seems...off. Maybe I just don't understand cause I'm bald, I dunno. -

That's an easy one. Edge & Christian as well as The Natural Disasters break up happened in the WWF/E. RnR and Midnight didn't. -
I thought for a minute there they were gonna have the referee reverse the decision because of Henry's attack.

...Morrison blinged his abs?

Poor Lillian. ...though why is it that the first thing that came to mind was a line from the Mel Brooks movie "Young Frankenstein"? "He has an enourmouse Schwanschtucker."

Watch, all those choices will be represented by Charlie Haas.

Hey, Shawn's using Austin's 2001 finisher as of WrestleMania X-Seven: Brutalize with chair repeatedly.
-
...shouldn't they have shown that BEFORE the tag match?

Even though it's been out a while... Yes...yes it was. Sorry I'm australian, I'm at home today so i got a chance to watch Raw live. Probably the first Raw I've actually watched live D: Ah, OK. Didn't know that. EDIT: Well, they may have found a way to get ratings for Smackdown this week...with the Big Show vs. Triple H.

...well, that was a unique counter to a top rope move... Throwing another guy into the top rope so the one about to fly falls.

I'm actually surprised they didn't decide to do a series that goes deeper into Bruce's training as Batman. While the title is the Graysons...plural...I could somewhat see the parents quickly being cut to show Dick's early life pre Robin but post parent's death. However, I can also see this series lasting about as long as the "Birds of Prey" series did.

One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread

Question though: Just how long AFTER RotJ would you set it? And would you make it live action or animated? And if animated, would you use characters from the movies? Just things to wonder. -

This picture sums up my thoughts on this new "Clone Wars" show. -
JR FINALLY found a good name for the DiBiase/Rhodes/Manu group: The Priceless Triumphant.

WWE kicking sand in the face of UFC. It's Second Generation Mania! Carlito, Primo, Ted Jr, Cody and Manu!

Hehe...the Henry/Khali team is kinda like the old days of wrestling out there...with both Tony Atlas and Runjin Singh at ringside. ...I could almost...but not really...see all of this making Chavo a disciple of The Undertaker or something like that.

Hornswoggle wearing Kendrick's jacket was funny to me. Also, I find it weird that, atl least for my local "MNTV" station, a sponsor was Cartoon Network's Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Which airs during the last hour of Smackdown.

The one thing bad about no GBA slot for DSi ...people who bought Guitar Hero: On Tour can't play it on the DSi. Unless they release something that makes the game wireless, but I doubt they will.

That last part there = win for me. Especially since I downloaded those Strong Bad games off of Wii Ware. 300+ blocks each ep. @_@

Jeff Hardy Strikes Out for the Final Time?
ChrisMWaters replied to zappafrank's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm no regular Trips basher... But after hearing thar rumor about the pictures for the next Smackdown vs. Raw game where no pictures of Triple H either being beaten or in pain are allowed...I can ALMOST see him actually doing that. -
I'd hate/love to see this guy's take on "Mega Man 9"

I don't think anything will ever top "Beaver Cleavage" in the stupidity category. Still, a pretty dumb name. I personally feel "Meat" was a dumber name.
