I agree. The whole "The American American" gimmick makes no sense unless he's really over doing the whole "I'm a proud American" thing. The black trunks and goofy smile just doesn't work for that gimmick. He also needs some freaking charisma as well. Well, that and I think too many wrestlers have had black in their ring attire anyway. It was a trend since the Attitude era. Mixing up with colors is good IMO. Hell, I even liked when Trips was bringing out different colors other than black.

Also, I'm thinking that Swagger needs red, white and blue ring attire.

Miz/Bourne was a good little match. Hardy/Knox was better than I thought. And I find it funny that Swagger is the only newer guy with a nickname in his ring name.

Yeah me to. I always thought it a serious injustice that his one run with the ECW belt lasted what, half an hour tops? Well, according to "Rise and Fall of ECW", he wanted to go the entire company history without winning a title.

While I agree with the point that folks get a kick out of seeing themselves on TV (as I get a kick every time I watch my Royal Rumble 2004 DVD and see myself in the back-left corner when they zoom the the empty chair that Foley was suppossed to be in)...I don't think FCW on TV would be happening anytime soon. Isn't it true that most times, WWE doesn't even bother to acknowledge their development programs...like on DVDs and such (note that I haven't gotten either the Lesnar or Cena DVDs, so I may be purely wrong on that.)

Small note since the streak is being mentioned... During the build up to the second "One Night Stand" event, I had this mental image of Sabu, to get respect for ECW, challenging The Undertaker at WrestleMania in an extreme rules match. ...would have been an interesting match, IMO.
