I dunno...she kinda doesn't have the Xena build anymore. I wouldn't mind her doing WW's voice again, but don't know about her actually doing her live. Plus, how built does Wondy really need to be? Linda Carter wasn't exactly super-built when she played the part...I think.

Also, I kinda think the guy that played the military liason to Tony Stark in "Iron Man" could possibly make a good John Stewart Green Lantern.

You're completely fucking insane. Batman and Robin was quite possibly the single worst comic book adaptation of all time. Superman IV, Elektra, and Catwoman say hello. B&R is God Awful, but there are a couple moments where it ventures into So Bad it's Good territory. Those three previously mentioned... nope. Which catagory does Supergirl fall into?

Oh yeah. Burton talked the studio out of Robin for the first Batman, but when they kept pushing for him, he was making Robin a street-wise young African-American mechanic. His costume was like a mechanic's jumpsuit with an R on it. Wayans actually got paid for both Returns (which they cut due to time) and Forever. I like reading all about the casting decisions too. Like how Bale was in the running for Robin and the final two came down to Chris O'Donnell and Leonardo DiCaprio. They asked kids at like a Comic Con type event who would win in a fight and that is what had them settle on O'Donnell. That would have been great had Bale won the Robin role...then took over as Batman in the new movies. The sidekick actually fufilling the goal of taking over for the hero. ...so to speak.

Eh, they've been pretty much using Darkseid in Superman properties recently...so I have a feeling if they wanted to incorporate anything New Gods, they'd put Darkseid as a foe for Supes in a future movie.

Was kinda hoping that the second Scorpion/Flash match would show Flash's special...but I guess they wanted to save some stuff. EDIT: Also, since Cap-Mar is in in the game...I could picture his finisher being lifting the opponent up, yelling SHAZAM, and letting the lightning bolt strike that person. EDIT 2: Shazam, bitches.

Watching coverage of Comic-Con right now... A DC character that we didn't mentioned here is getting a movie. Doc Savage.

Superman and Catwoman are my two favorite comic book characters. So you can imagine how much I hate Time Warner owning DC Comics. Well, if you do decide to get the game (which I don't know about you enough to know if you will or won't), at least I know the two characters you'll be playing as in "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe"...

Don't forget about the now 10 year old idea of making Nicholas Cage into Superman.

Well, the thing is with Returns...they were still using the backstory of Superman I and II. So Lex would have been hard to turn into that businessman thing...though they did start the rich part with getting the inheritence from that old lady at the start. As for your opinion on Superman...see, the thing is, I kinda liked how not TOO built Reeve, Routh and Cain were. Because it made their Clark Kent identity at least a LITTLE more believable. You have this super muscular guy as Clark, it doesn't really work that well. One of the VERY few things I didn't find right in the 90s Superman toon...Supes/Clark was a little TOO broad shouldered for my liking. Another example of a perfectly built Supes for me is the one shown in the movie version of "Justice League: The New Frontier". EDIT: Also, just making sure...just because you're saying "Superman Returns" doesn't exist in your mind...are you also saying you perfer "Superman III" and "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace" over "Superman Returns"?

Batista IS Superman! Yea, I got a little laugh out of the music playing. And unless in the episode Metropolis was evacuated, Superman totally just killed quite a few people there. Throwing Darkseid through the buildings. Not to mention the reconstruction that streets gonna need. Although that's quite the norm in comics. If I remember correctly, Luthor and the remaining members of the Legion did warn the Justice League about Darkseid...so I'm assuming Metropolis for the most part WAS abandoned. Been a while since I've seen the episode though.

The Dark Knight Returns. Only if we get "I'm the goddamn Batman" into the script. ...yes, I know that was "All-Star Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder", but I read it's the same universe as that series.

Looks like a scene from Dragon Ball Z Nah, if it were DBZ, Supes would have a red and blue aura around him, wouldn't have the speech and insted would be screaming as he charged up for 10 minutes, his hair would be gold, and at various points in the fight he would give Darkseid the opportunity to redeem himself. Getting back on subject though, anyone have any casting choices for some of the movie ideas I listed in the first post?

I'm just hoping that in a future Superman movie, we get a scene similar to this one.

If the head-ripping-off is a fatality...I wonder if they'll have a special animation when used against masked heroes where you remove their mask after ripping off the head.

Another character I could see getting a movie of his own. Lobo. Start him off in a Superman movie (yes, they are still doing a sequel to Superman Returns) as either a villain or an anti-hero (kinda like his role in the Superman cartoon...first he fights Supes, then has to team with him for a bigger threat) which leads to a spin-off movie of his own.

Are we talking regular Doom Patrol, or Morrison-era DP? Being that most of my experience with DC comic heroes and such comes from either the cartoons, movies, or Wikipedia...I have to ask... What's the difference between regular DP and Morrison-era DP?
