This conversation started with a post of a guy who called himself "us" and who does not even take the trouble to quote his sources. Who is "us" good god?!! You think seriously that this is true?!! He called himself "us"? And this will be a terrible flop, but I think if it actually happens, it'll jsut be to test the waters. My question is : Who is "we" ??? Maybe he was using the Royal We...like the British use.

I'm going to say the Women's Title, which was the continuation of the NWA Women's Title from the 1950s. Except for the fact that it was deactivated twice before...
-
Well, WWE could say that this was an idea to try to make WCW more popular with fans, but in the end it hurt them... Just a thought.
-
Guy's name is Frankie Kazarian. Don't worry, he still wrestled after that match.
-
I still say that "botched" Pedigree looks more like a botched Tiger Driver '91.
-
Actually, it was Hardcore Holly that was thrown into the table, allowing Billy Gunn to win the Hardcore Title.
-
And that's the thinking of a SANE person. But McMahon, I believe, is LONG GONE from 100% sanity. That' sjust my opinion though.

Vince McMahon's big announcement (*Spoilers*)
ChrisMWaters replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
The Undertaker isn't dead. He's just, "buried." Whatever that means. <Kane>I shall leave you as you left me...marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead wrestling arena...buried alive...buried alive. <Taker>KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE! (*Let's see how many people get that reference.) Does that mean will see this scene with Taker? <Paul Bearer> The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. I have been and always shall be your friend. Ohhhhhh yes! YES! PERFECT! That's a gold mine right there. ^^ -
So Vince "fires" them from the big shows and exiles them to the weekend shows of Velocity & Confidential but the guys don't play by the rules and cancel second rate shows to make their own promotion. So all of the regular wrestlers who do nothing but Velocity and Heat would now be employed by Bishoff and Heyman. So now WWE would have three 2 hour brand shows on Monday, Thursday, and the Saturday. Er, I meant real life terms, not storyline terms. ^^;

That would be interesting... But...storyline wise...Heyman and Bischoff hate each other, as evident from the Royal Rumble where the tried kicking each others' asses.

Majorly off topic...but "Hail" bps21...no offense, but IIRC, Firefly wasn't COMPLETELY original. It had some basis from a Japanese anime called Outlaw Star. At least that's what I heard. Never saw Firefly when it was on the air. -
Along these lines, I came up with a theory about why McMahon keeps both Bischoff and Heyman employed... He has a deep down, secret fear that if they weren't under his payroll, they'd join together and work to make a new wrestling organization that could compete with WWE again.

Right here. Section 73, Row D, Seat 1. ...whatever that means. Never been to MSG before.

Easy...Bob Backlund and the Iron Sheik. Challenging one... Rock has held the Tag Team titles Five Times, Intercontinental Title Twice, won the Royal Rumble, and has held the WWF/E Title 7 Times. Name everyone he's beaten for each of those accolades (NOTE: For the Royal Rumble, just name the last person he eliminated. For 3 way matches and such, name all competitors in match) Partners for Rock's tag team title reigns are optional EDIT: Oh, add Rock's two WCW Title reigns to that as well.
-
That was his gimmick, though. He didn't completely no-sell it...he just wouldn't get knocked out by it. Was also Balls Mahoney's, if I remember correctly. Who is the ONLY wrestler I've ever TRULY seen up close. (he was doing an indy show at my high school, along with King Kong Bundy)

I'm kinda hoping for something totally off the wall for Bischoff/McMahon: They put ownership of the WWE as well as the Raw General Managership on the line...and Bischoff pulls out a fluke win over McMahon. Just to mix things up.
-
I believe so, yes.
-
He just appeared shortly after Jerry Lawler left WWF and ECW fell on WWF TV as new commentator on Raw.
-
OK...now how SHOULD have Paul Heyman been brought in, just out of curiousity?
-
HEY! I take offense to that! That's where I make the money to buy online time and TV time! And I don't mean by gambling. I WORK there.
-
I think the point of that was to get us thinking "Did we see what I think we just saw"... Then, the embrace with McMahon to finally make us realize how times have changed.
-
Just a thing that irks me... Why couldn't they have shown Scott Hall puking on Bischoff the same night as "Ric Flair Returns To WCW" on the DVD?
-
I remember at a Smackdown taping that I went to in 03...during the time that was building to last year's No Way Out...Big Show vs. Undertaker. Heyman came out, cut to commercial...and he cuts a great Anti-Philly promo so he wouldn't get "ECW" chants his way.

Bischoff first debuted in WWE on July 15, 2002. I was there that night and when they first showed him on TV, the whole crowd was silent. Silent in shock or silent as in "Who the hell is this guy"?
