He was sporting a big gut tonight, even bigger than usual. That might be since it seems like he hasn't been on tv since July. Plus...the HOlidays just got done.

OK...Royal Rumble is less than a month away (THIRD FROM RINGSIDE FOR ME! WHOO!). Now, just to start things off...looks like this year's Rumble is most likely going to have a re-match between Shawn Michaels and Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title. Do you guys want any special gimmick for this match? If not, how long would you like for it to go? As for the Rumble Match itself...should this year have an Iron Man for the Rumble? How about a quick elimination ala B-2 in 03 or Mo in 95? What about Mystery Entrants? Oh, and one thing I'd like: if there's no mystery entrants...Pre Rumble Match promos from everyone in the Rumble...ala the late 80's/Early 90's rumble matches.

... I don't think Kurt Angle's mouth is big enough to fit Scotty 2 Hotty in it.

What about the match he had against the Rock in Pittsburgh with this classic exchange? "I was born just down the road here at Mercy Hospital..." *Rock Attacks Angle, grabs the Mic* "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU WERE BORN!"

Very nice beak droppings this week, JHawk. However...one thing I note about it: Your complaint about Billy Gunn being in the Royal Rumble, ruining the "all credible contenders" feeling for the match. Think about the 1992 Rumble...one of the strongest for "Anyone can win". Despite all the (on paper) possible winners (DiBiase, Flair, Savage, Hogan, Roberts, Justice, Undertaker, Slaughter, Piper, etc)...you DID have some people you KNEW had no chance (Skinner, Repo Man, Nikolai Volkoff) Billy Gunn = Those guys I mentioned.

That reminds me of how the older WWF PPVs ended...it was unique... I liked it.

Ref bumps TODAY have gotten bad, yes. However, I do know of one time a ref bump didn't end with him recovering for a near pinfall. WrestleMania 4: Don Muraco vs. Dino Bravo. Muraco was about to hit a move on Bravo, Bravo pulls the referee into the way. Bravo gets the unfair advantage...hits his "Side Suplex"...goes for the pin...the referee recovers and DQs Bravo. Was nice to see that twist to the ref bump.

Last I heard he was supposed to have returned in December. Soon I'm guessing. Surprise Royal Rumble Entrant, here we come! Let's hope he lasts as long as B-2 did in 03. No, B-2 had offense. How about Tazz in 2001? Or even better...Mo in 1995! Even better still, like one of the Bushwhackers in 1991 Actually, despite what WWE would like you to believe...Mo lasted a shorter time that Bushwacker Luke's time in the Rumble. It goes either Mo 95 or Warlord 89, then Luke 91.
