The OAO Christmas From Baghdad SD! Thread 12-25-03
ChrisMWaters replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Damned right they do. Maybe they could have a taping on one of the carriers in the gulf. That would be awesome. Heh...that'd bring back memories of the "Slam Yokozuna Challenge" -

WWE REALLY needs to have more out-door venues. -

You're just jealous because he's a better wrestler than your boy Orton. -

Not I. The press has been wary since the whole Billy and Chuck fiasco. -
Think so. ...if only the roster wasn't as big as is was. I would have LOVED to have seen Backlund in the rumble again.
-
I am hoping Benoit wins...but not betting the house on it. But think of this: Ratings for Raw would be better for the night after the Smackdown February PPV if the main event for that show was a match to determine the Number One Contender for the Raw World Title.
-
OK...as with last year, this year's Royal Rumble will have 15 Raw Superstars and 15 Smackdown Superstars in it. Last year, JR and King announced for the Rumble Match. However, I had an interesting idea for the DVD. What if they had another choice of commentary besides English and Spanish? Maybe...you can switch between King and JR to Cole and Tazz?
-
Probably 97, WrestleMania 13.
-
Oh, and a note: If Rikishi is in this year's Royal Rumble, it'll be his 10th. 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 00, 01, 02, 03, and 04.
-
If Bret won the title, Bob Backlund could have been another possibilty.
-
4 options. The fourth being having it as it was on the show.
-
My thought is they record it while the Rumble Match is going on live...since Tazz and Cole were just sitting there this past year. They do the commentary while sitting there, and release it on the DVD release.

Steve Austin: His body back to the condition it was in before the match with Owen Hart at Summerslam.
-
Here's a topic for when people have it to post links to a downloadable version of the tribute to those who have died this year from the Best of Raw special.
-
Is there anybody who hasn't held the Hardcore title? Hell I think I had it once or twice Vince McMahon, surprisingly enough. Or Shane. Or D-Von (while Bubba held it several times). Shane did too hold it. He defended it against Steve Blackman at Summerslam 2000, if I remember correctly. See?
-
OK, judging by watching that tribute video from Best of Raw 2003 about those who passed on this past year, I had to wonder... Which of these two would get the bigger post-death tribute: Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea OR Steve Williams AKA "Stone Cold" Steve Austin?

Morbid Topic: Bigger Post-Death Tribute...
ChrisMWaters replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
But the 1980s NWA had lots more than just Flair: Magnum TA, Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, etc. etc. Bruno was almost the ONLY attraction. You're saying Moolah in the 60s wasn't an attraction? ^^;;;; -

Both shows would be nothing but tribute shows for him. -
Morbid Topic: Bigger Post-Death Tribute...
ChrisMWaters replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
I know that isn't the point of this topic, but Bruno Sammartino was WAY more important than Hogan and Austin combined. Without Bruno, the WWWF would have collapsed by the end of 1965. He carried them on his back until Vince Jr. bought it. Very true. I would HOPE that when Bruno passes on, they give him a good tribute...along the lines of the one they gave Blassie, if not better. -
Morbid Topic: Bigger Post-Death Tribute...

Sadly, yes. Because you know by the time Helmsley dies, he'll be owner of WWE. Though I'm sure that he'd at least give Ric Flair a good post-death tribute if Flair passed while he was in charge. -
He's the kind of guy, like the Late Yokozuna, that's as tall laying down as he is standing up. ^^
-
When you have it, post the Tribute Here

*Sniffle* Seeing it always touches me. Even if just through videos, it's sad to see such greats gone. -Comedy wrestling won't be the same without Crash. -Losing the first and classiest diva hurt. -One of my favorite tag teams is halfway gone... -The World seems less perfect. -A shudder among the heartstrings of many Canadian greats -And the sadness of knowing the opening video packages for Pay Per Views will never be the same either. -
Or, since it's been 10 years, co winners.

WWE Considering Turning Matt Hardy Face
ChrisMWaters replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Ok...they wanna turn him face. Question is...HOW will they do it? -
So that means they're going to try and sign Shaq then?
