I like the new WWE Title. I'm a mark for belts with nameplates. Plus, it's large size is good. For some strange reason, I'd like to see someone like Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels wearing it. Oh, and it doesn't piss me off for some reason, like what they did to the Big Gold Belt:

Just a thing... Kurt Angle has two finishers, but one has been devalued (Angle Slam) I feel he could add a third if he wanted...use the Rings of Saturn...call them the Olympic Rings. Just my two cents.

How about some of his House Show matches on the DVD as extras? Maybe have Kurt himself commentate on them?

Oh, good thing about this Smackdown. NO VINCE MCMAHON! -
Um, Yoko didn't leave the WWF for good after 1994. He was back at WrestleMania 11 as Owen Hart's partner, if you remember.

He's not wrestling right now. If he does, then MAYBE they'll mention it. -

I've enjoyed Smackdown thus far, to be honest. The set up low blow by Nidia was fun. Plus, the Heyman kissing up to Brock Lesnar during the opening segment reminded me of the old days when Heyman was Lesnar's "agent" -
It's not about getting the heat. It's about KEEPING it once you get it. Orton keeps having to work to do that. A good heel would be able to keep it just by coming out. See the Honky Tonk Man. What about your honey Molly Holly? Her heat is much more sporadic than Ortons. But Molly's just in the women's division. She's not being pushed for the super-god push like Orton is. If he had the heat to go with his push, then it wouldn't be AS bad.

And would this burst also enable him to run around afterwards, doing various (often highflying) moves without any pain? WOW...and there was me thinking it was crappy selling, it's actually Shawn Michaels attempt at making the match as realistic as possible. Good 'Ol Shawn, eh? Does adrenaline also make you less tired, and make your energy totally refreshed for the next 10 minutes? Again, just me thinking Shawn was no-selling while showing no fatigue despite wrestling a supposed world class athlete for 20+ minutes, but I guess I was wrong. It's a shame more wrestlers don't get this magic adrenaline, isn't it? It happened for me in High School Wrestling. Adrenaline isn't magic. It's a scientific proven point. You're just sounding smarmy about it.

^^^^ Thank you Croweater. You stated what I was planning on stated. Like I said in an earlier post, I felt no pain when adrenaline kicked in on me in my wrestling match in High School. However, AFTER it was gone, I was sore as hell. And before you people bitch "yeah, right, like that could happen..." ...you're talking to a guy WHO EXPERIENCED IT FIRST HAND!
-
None of the above. Taker's POWER OF THE URN would win.
-
I have to wait to see it. 76ers game. Eh, fuck it.
-
Sorta like Flair tried to do in their first 1994 WCW Title match?
-
Actually, Hogan's Hulk-up and Michaels' nip-ups are using the same principle, just different execution of it.
-
Then he does his no-sell nip-up superman comeback... burst of adrenaline bullshit excuse Actually, truthful. I know, because I had a similar experience happen to me. One night during a High School Wrestling meet, I had a REALLY sore back PLUS a high fever. It almost felt like I couldn't move. During the match I had that night, after a while, I felt no pain or no illness, and I won. That was adrenaline in action. It works, trust me. Was hurting like hell the next day, but still, the point stands.

^ Very true above, though Shawn DID work in AWA with the Rockers. THat might make some difference, but not too much.

Eddie deserves it, yes. But I feel Eddie has a few more years left in the business than Benoit does, hence he has more time. Benoit, I feel, does not have as much time left.
-
Yes, I was. I know Jr.'s still alive because he was on Confidential recently, talking about the Flair Plane Crash incident.

Guys, remember this...star ratings are subjective to taste. Hell, I know a guy who feels in his mind that Hogan/Goldberg was a 5 star match. I don't agree, but that's his opinion. Some people feel Angle's matches are near four stars or over, that's their opinion.
