Why is everyone saying mid-card... I SAID OUT OF THE TITLE PICTURE! Geez, stop putting words in my mouth for that! Because Angle/Cena IS a midcard match, not a "ME but not a title match" like you are claiming. When Austin was out of the title scene in late 00/early 01, he wasn't feuding with X-Pac, but HHH. Angle/Taker would be out of the title picture but ME level. Look at Cena/Angle, at best three or four from the top. You forgetting when Austin feuded with Rikishi when he didn't have the title? How about when Rock and Foley were batting the HOLLYS of all people?

He's a main eventer now, is he not? And did I say MID CARD? no, I didn't. I said "Not IN the Title Picture".

Cycling ME's helps jackshit. "Two months in the ME, three in the midcard" creates NO main eventers Funny, it did in the late 90s. Rock, Foley, Show, Austin, Taker, HHH... They didn't always stay in the top match on the card, yet they stayed Main Eventers. Plus, it kept the Main Event scene expansive.

Good point. I wiped X8 from my memory... I haven't. Mostly because my Goddess won her first WWF/E Title! Sure it was the Hardcore title and didn't leave the show with it, but still.

I admit that it might not be the next Bret/Austin. But it's not a waste of some people's time. WWE tries to build Cena as a main eventer. Angle is the closest thing they have to an established main eventer with Taker and Lesnar both in the title match. Angle helps give the rub (note I didn't say Jobbing necisarrily) to Cena, boosting the main event status. Angle proves that he's not like some people (read: HHH) who never wants to help a person look good in the ring. Gives something for Angle to do close to the top of the card while not in the title picture (which is good, regulating people in main event area. Gives more fresh matches) Helps push someone new. Hence, not a waste of time

Well, but of course. You can see how hurting his feelings is a better strategy than say, trying to break a bone. Actually, no, I don't see it all. Psychological advantage. You get a person off their mental game enough, then when the match comes around, they won't fight as well they usually do. I did something similar when I was on my High School Wrestling Team. I'd jump off the walls (literally) to intimidate, then rip my T-Shirt off. Worked on almost all my opponents. Face it though Angelsault...you're trying to turn the Angle character into something it's not. Something that we got sick of seeing too much of in the Attitude era. Well, at least something I got sick of anyway.

Hey Anglesault...I thought of one thing you should be glad about for this past Smackdown. Kurt Angle wasn't made to look like an idiot. Think about if he was still heel and replace Show with him for the end of this Smackdown. Like I try to say, "Always look on the bright side of life."

Yes. I can't stand Arena's changing corporate names every six months... Actually, it was First Union Center for a few years. I remember that WrestleMania XV was in the building when it was called the First Union Center. And as bad as Wachovia center is...at least you can't call it the F-U Center anymore.

Actually, the TKO and the F5 aren't exactly the same. The TKO spins somone behind you, and you do a jawbreaker from that. The F5 you spin someone in front of you. As for Marc Mero returning...not likely. Remember, he lost the match to Duane "Not Quite Gillberg Yet" Gill...with the stipulation that if he lost, in his words, "You would never see the Marvelous one again!" Besides, Mero was more fun, IMO, as Johnny B. Badd.

Yes, definate ownage. If only this past Rumble was in Philly...Dreamer would have gotten a better ECW Chant when he came out. Ah well.
