Hollywood Tells Hunter: You're No Austin or Rock
ChrisMWaters replied to JasonX's topic in The WWE Folder
There's one character that HHH can get a role as... ATOR THE INVINCIBLE! Miles O'Keefe fears HHH! -
I was joking really. Judging by his commentarries on his website, he likes being in WWE, and probably wouldn't protest like that.
-
I think that it's one of two things... 1)The outfit restricts some movements, hence the reason some moves seem half-assed. 2) It's in protest for not being allowed to use the Vertibreaker more often.
-
Well yeah...because you don't get the classic Flair facial expressions with it like you did at Royal Rumble 02. Speaking of which...anyone have a video clip of that part of the match? I have it on DVD...but I like to have it on my computer too.
-
Well, in defense, they DID have the "Cheat 2 Win" T-Shirts for a while...
-
I'm thinking that Eddy wants to forget about the LWo.
-
Eh, it was good, but the LWo theme was better.
-
yeah, but the Kat won it in the divorce settlement... ...why am I now picturing WWE trying to revive the Intergender Championship?
-
You know...if WWE would remember their history and the original user of the Ankle-Lock, I could see a good history built up on this. IIRC, it was back when Ken Shamrock was still in the Corporation, and Undertaker was in the Ministry...when Ken Shamrock made Undertaker scream out in pain for, they plugged it, the first time in his career to the Ankle Lock. If they could have remembered that, and use it to build the Angle/Taker feud more, that would be interesting.
-
Well...originally I think it was because they wanted to have Eddy and Chavo have a theme for their team...since Eddy was still using Latino Heat while Chavo was using the WCW Guerrero theme. After Chavo's injury though, I don't know.

Very true about the Figure Four. The two best ones (that I've seen) are Ric Flair's and Tito Santana's, simply for the speed that they put it on. Though, I did like how long Ric stalled the move at the 2002 Royal Rumble before putting it on Vince McMahon. Was that where Flair danced around like an idiot for 10-15 seconds? If so, that was FREAKIN Hilarious. Yep, that's the one!

Well, if they didn't have a ban on the move, I could see him teaching others how to do the piledriver properly.

Oh, one HAS to see KOTR '95 AND GAB '91. You can never fully explain what a BAD PPV is without those two shows (though you can do a suitable job replacing GAB '91 with ANY WCW PPV between Slamboree 1999 and 2000). -=Mike What about any version of Halloween Havoc? Most of the time, I heard they were dissapointing PPVs...despite having one or two good matches into it. Havoc's were usually mediocre-decent. I don't remember a Havoc, outside of 1999 and 2000, that I found actively bad. -=Mike What about the one with the Chamber of Horrors?
-
I thought that was good. I marked when he broke it out old school style. No one does it that way anymore... I think the problem that I have with it is that he took FOREVER to put it on.

The HHHonk was right after the Necrophilia skit was shown on Raw. He was laughing...and he made a honking sound when he laughed. ...funny thing is, that Raw was on my birthday.
-
How about HHH's version of the Indian Deathlock...would that count?
-
Sweet Chin Music. Hopefully you were joking.
-
Here's an old school one....from watching the Shawn Michaels DVD... Shawn Michaels' Razor's Edge onto Razor Ramon.

Oh great, most boring gimmick match EVER ! Hey, that's not true. You're forgetting the blindfold match. But if they do have an inferno match, expect Kane to lose. He has yet to win one.
-
...OK...this is screwy...O_o
-
Maybe they think that Kane was more dangerous looking and less goofy looking with the mask. That's my theory of why they did this.
-
He is NOT A WRESTLER. I don't know how much more I can dumb it down for you than that. When I flip on Raw I want to see the wrestlers fighting, not the boss's kid fighting. If people in the arenas pop for him out of habit or politeness, that's there problem. It doesn't change the fact he bores the shit out of me. That's the problem. He bores the shit out of YOU. YOU would rather see the wrestlers fighting than him. However, the WWE doesn't program exclusively for YOU. There are four million other fans that do want to see him, and so the WWE accomodates them. Funny...everyone that I've talked to, Smark and Mark alike, want Shane to not wrestle reguarly. They want WRESTLERS. And that's at least 100 people right there.

But Heenan never put himself before his charges. Big Difference there. For a good example of that, watch the 1992 Royal Rumble match, and how he plugs Flair.
