...SUPER MARIO? ...why am I suddenly picturing "Mario Wrestling"? Nunzio's next gimick Well...if that causes feuds with A-Train and Brock Lesnar... Which is Donkey Kong and Which is Bowser though? -

Thanks Cawthorn. You reminded me that youhad that site, and I could put the actual card for my first event. WWF @ Philadelphia, PA - Spectrum - November 6, 1994 Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Adam Bomb Duke Drose defeated Nikolai Volkoff The Smoking Gunns defeated the Heavenly Bodies WWF World Champion Bret Hart defeated Jim Neidhart IRS defeated Bob Holly WWF Tag Team Champion Diesel defeated Fatu Lex Luger fought Tatanka to a double disqualification The Undertaker defeated Yokozuna in a casket match Oh, and though not mentioned there, there was also a Bob Backlund promo there. -
I think that the reason that Mabel was pushed because they hoped for the next Earthquake or Yokozuna out of him. Insted...we got the next Tugboat.

Your First Live Event
ChrisMWaters replied to A Guy Who Injects Heroin Into Kids' Eyes's topic in The WWE Folder
My first live event was in 1994...a few weeks before Survivor Series that year. It was a house show...matches included a Taker/Yoko casket match, Tatanka vs. Luger, I think Volkoff was in a match...Diesel squashing one of the headshrinkers (I think it was Fatu), and Bret Hart vs. Jim Neidhart for the WWF Title. The next one I went to was the Smackdown shown on July 11, 2002, with Rock's return, Hogan/Edge vs. Billy & Chuck rematch, and a Taker/Cena (pre thuganomics) vs. Angle/Jericho. -
Or better yet...what ever happened to that girl that managed WOW wrestler Jackyln Hyde? She could work for the part of the Kane Shrink (the manager, not Jackyln)

Or they FINALLY bring Sting back...

"They"= Everyone besides himself.

Yes...that last choice works. If Test was legit injured...Elix Skipper, Christopher Daniels, and Lo Ki would have come out to help him out.
-
And plus the Samoaness negated the blackness of Rock.

How many people do YOU think will hold the title
ChrisMWaters replied to Just call me Dan's topic in The WWE Folder
Well...they can have him be the monster right now... then when he loses clean...he snaps, and just plays a maniac. That's how I would book it. Him losing making him MORE dangerous than he is now. -
OK...I was just wondering, after his run with the New Rockers, and his brief WCW run...what ever happened to Marty Jannetty? Is there bad blood between him and Vince? Is he retired from the ring? What's the story here. Was thinking this because I thought it would be funny for, whenever Michaels finally retires, Jannetty comes back and manages whoever retires Michaels.

If Heyman gets cut by WWE, and he appears on NWA-TNA...how long would it be before Heyman bad-mouthed WWE?

Potential to do what? When he goes out there weekly and fails in every conceivable category (He's not over, he's not good in the ring, he's not charasmatic, he doesn't have good mic skills) how can anyone see potential? Because he's the son of "Cowboy" Bob Orton. They think that he has latent talent in him given to him by his father. That's just my theory. ...Backed up by such ring generals as Erik Watts, Brian Christopher and the living legend, David Flair. Watts I agree. Christopher I thought was a pretty good wrestler. Flair...well, he's only been around since 1999...I still say he's better than Orton. At least he had some charisma as the crazy guy.

My guess would be to not have to pay royalties to the family of Morton Downey Jr. But just a guess. It is on my version, and Downey was still alive when the set was released. I have the same Legacy set that Bob has. Was it the one released around 1998? It was released around the same time as "Faces of Foley", "Best of Survivor Series" and such.

Edgeucation of Adam Copeland -- Aug. 12, 2003
ChrisMWaters replied to CanadianChick's topic in The WWE Folder
Austin got attacked, was gone for almost a year (because of neck surgery), came back and immediately went on to try to find out who did it which ended being Rikishi who was in cahoots with HHH. For them NOT to go on with the Who Attacked Edge when he comes back would be ghey, but then again Edge didn't get hit by a car. And it was... RIKISHI! HE DID IT FOR THE PEOPLE! -
Weird...it's not on the one I got. ...I WAS SCREWED!

Slightly off topic: Anyone know why the Piper's Pit from WrestleMania 5 was cut off the Attitude Collection version of WrestleMania 5?
-
Thought that was the name of the team, but wasn't exactly sure. And I still say the outfits they wore were CRAP!
-
That would be the 1993 Royal Rumble. The one that Yokozuna won. And WrestleCrap aplenty (Damien Demento, Berzerker, I.R.S., Tatanka, Repo Man, "The Model" Rick Martel, Papa Shango, "El Matador" Tito Santana...possibly whatever the team name for Owen Hart and Koko B. Ware was (at least the outfits were wrestlecrap), and Skinner.) EDIT: Oh, and though he wasn't officially a participant, the debut of Giant Gonzales.
-
I think the reason for all the screwjob endings in NWA is obvious. And it ties in to the Rock Bottom Title Match finish, as well as the 1999 Royal Rumble match. One name... Russo. As long as he is booking, screwjob endings shall continue on and on.

Vince McMahon Or Earl Hebner.
