A friend of mine who uses Austin in an E-Fed wanted to know the question I asked in the subtopic about the topic. I think it was because Austin didn't want to be associated with the corporate image the regular title was or something. Anyone have the answer?

The Smoking Skull Championship Belt
ChrisMWaters replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
Heh...yeah. Most people are, I think. They should bring it back if they unify the two top belts again...but with the following improvements: 1) Logo change 2) Little larger...about the size of the Attitude Belt should work 3) NAMEPLATE! -
Yeah...but what's A-Train's real name?

The Smoking Skull Championship Belt

Actually, that title was the rarely seen "Block Logo Attitude" belt. Same as the Attitude belt, but with a dark blue strap, and the block WWF logo on it. -
OK...I know all of you love to complain about the announcers for the matches in WWE nowadays...as well, they aren't that good. So...here's soemthing I've done... Studying the old tapes I have of him...I take Gorilla Monsoon as Play by Play...and either Heenan or Ventura as color...and imagine them commentating the match going on. Try it sometime.

Why do I picture Nowinski wearing a white lab coat and purple gloves when he returns?
-
Who'd be Dexter and Mandark though? Steiner and Test? Nowinski is the closest to fitting Dexter. As for Mandark...hmm...Mandark was raised as a girl...anyone rather effeminate but evil who could fit the bill? Rico?

The Smoking Skull Championship Belt

YEah...but straps aren't exactly the same...as the buckle and plates remain the same. Austin's Smoking Skull belt was a completely different design and everything. -

I do agree that it's over-done. Which is why I liked the last Smackdown tapings that I went to. It was the night that Benjamin and Haas, then Team Angle, won the tag team titles. Also that night was that Benoit/Angle TV match after their Royal Rumble encounter...post match, Team Angle (all three) were beating up on Benoit...Edge comes out to NO MUSIC...gets beaten up...then LESNAR comes out to NO MUSIC...and it just seemed to work. Spur of the moment thing and such. And the reaction was still damn good. EDIT: Oh, and then Edge did the Brock Happy Dance, which gave me a chuckle.

Or, we could do like I saw in Dexter's lab. <Hurricane>Farewell, citizens! (slightly depressed and embarrassed voice towards Rosey) Come, Fat Boy. Stacy Kiebler can be DeeDee ...Stacy in Dee Dee's outfit. ...you know, that might work.

I think that the injury she suffered in the Women's Battle Royal was legit.

All right, about a week or so ago, when we heard about the press conference for the Raw side of the roster, we were speculating about matches for the rest of the show. Two of them included Jericho/Nash and Orton/Michaels. But with the elimination chamber match now here...the question is...NOW what do they do?
-
So you know then about the ORIGINAL planned name for the belt...the Stu Hart Invitational Title.

*Points to my post above yours* Can't you just picture it? "HES THE SAAAAAAMOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAN...DREEEEEAAAAAM..."

Don't fire Rosey after this. There's still black ring attire with yellow polka-dots waiting for his body to be fit into.

I just wish WWE would better remember their past, and have a former superhero with Helms have something to say about this. Not necessarilly get involved in it, just maybe a few words. And for those who don't know who I'm talking about...Just Look At The Sig, Baby.
-
...remove the smirk, and you have a skinny Steve Austin.
-
Er, by my question, I actually meant the rest of the Raw Card. Sorry for the confusion.

Was Andre planning on wrestling for WCW, or was he in retirement? Andre was in retirement. His last televised (in USA, at least) match was WrestleMania 6, I believe...him and Haku vs. Demolition for the tag titles. Andre was never officially tagged into that match, for the record.

I seem to remember back in the day, Demolition did something similar to the Death Sentance. I think the only difference is it was an elbow insted of a legdrop. Oh, and for the topic...Problem Solver.

She's 15! She's my age man! Well, then again someones gotta break her in... I'll wait till I'm 26 to say I'd hit it. Then, she'd be 21, and it'd be fine. ^^ Still, I think she'd probably have more success if she went by Brooke Hogan than Brooke Bollea.

I think that Sammartino either trained or helped Zybysko get into the business. They then fought over the nickname "The Living Legend". Something off topic...why would Larry Whistler want his ring name to be the more complex to spell Zybysko?
