I think he was talking about for the AWA Match. Michaels sounds a LOT different then..

Not even if Vince decided to go back to the commentator role, never to get involved in storylines again? Or, maybe Shane doing that insted? EDIT: There's a weird thought...Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon replacing Jim Ross/Coach and Jerry Lawler as Raw Announcers.

Maybe she'll change it to Brooke Hogan? I think they were calling Hogan's son Nick Hogan when he appeared on TV a few times...

Damn Phillies... Stop pre-empting Smackdown! ...*sigh* This SATURDAY I'll have to watch it.
-
Since when did Nash make an effort to do ANYTHING? Well, when he was Oz, he did work pretty hard.

Here's one I wonder about... Why, up until recently (according to now dead site WWFTitleHistories.com) did they ignore the fact that Antonio Inoki defeated Bob Backlund for the championship? Any special reason for that?

*Smacks you with a cement covered 2x4* Damn you for insulting me in a way!

YES! Shark Boy has a partner with TALENT!
-
I like how Calis sorta insults McMahon there. At least in Smark eyes.

I'm hoping Watts chokeslams Russo.

Know your role chant!

Have to do this... <joke>Shane can believably take out Kane! Remember, Shane's an undefeated European Champion AND former Hardcore Champion!</joke>

RVD is as bad as a talker as people put him out to be. It wouldn't be bad if it was a temporary thing, but no thanks if you mean permanetly. Yeah, I didn't really mean permanently...just for this whole war with Kane really. Though if I had to choose one person from WWE to be RVD's manager...it'd either be Shane or Heyman.
-
Good article...except there's one thing I was thinking... Would it be so bad having Shane be RVD's manager? I mean, everyone admits that RVD isn't that great of a talker out there...and Shane could fill that role. It's a way for both of them to get revenge on Kane too.

I know, but I'm used to somebody tapping out to a regular Boston Crab. Beating them with it halfway just makes the loss seem...humiliating. That's like tapping out to an armbar, a headlock, a bear hug, or some other minor submission you'd never expect people to tap out to. Didn't Lance Storm make some people tap out to the Half Crab in WCW?

The Monty Python crew booking and writing WWE programming... BRILLIANT!!!! if vince could get a writing team half as good as eric idle, michael palin, terry jones, terry gilliam, graham chapman and john cleese i will personally blow him, let him cum on my face and broadcast it on the internet. i can make idle promises like that, because i know it will NEVER EVER HAPPEN. Er, right. Anyway...yeah, it would be funny... *Pictures Ric Flair going for a match...hand out like he's riding a horse...and Randy Orton clacking coconut halves together.

I'd only want Goldust as World CHampion if he lost the stuttering and went back to his "Classic" style.

Or pull a Double Gowen...and be a NO legged wrestler.

The comedy commercials are to offset the serious ones that involve the matches. Like the ones we saw for Steph/Sable, Gowen/McMahon, and the 3 Way Main Event for Vengeance. Steph/Sable was serious? They got me. The match itself wasn't, no. But the promo was MEANT to be.
-
That reminds me of the WM11 press conference in a way. Well, the first half of that clip anyway.

RRR, they could have McMahon and Satan having a tea party for a commercial, and it would still sell. The commercials for the PPV are just to tell you when the date is, in my own opinion.

Hmm...if HHH is too injured to compete at Summerslam... Goldberg vs. Kane for the vacated title?
