KING GOOFED! HE SAID WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!
-
Hmm...Booker got the pin...and somewhat clean.

BOOKER T CHANT!
-
Michaels and Orton on the Highlight Reel....Austin's deciscion... Notice no matches were made?
-
Hmm...hey Zack, anyway you can suggest that as an option to your bosses or no?
-
Off topic question slightly...but sorta on since last night was the PPV and he said he'll be on tonight... Anyone have any pictures of McMahon's bleeding? They didn't put any up on the Vengeance website.
-
He may not have been closing his eyes. Angle MAY have been blinking at the time.

While it's true I too view the Smackdown Title (AKA The WWE Championship) as the legit one, I can still see the explaination behind the reasong for Trips getting the Raw Title (AKA the World Heavyweight Championship) like he did. Plus the fact than in a way, he was the last to hold that belt before. Still...KILL THAT BELT OFF AND MAKE ONE CHAMPION!
-
Actually, the IC title WAS just handed out... to Pat Patterson. Unless you believe the Rio De Jeniro stuff. Also, the original WWWF World title was handed off to Buddy Rogers as well. He supposedly "won" his title in the same place as Patterson. Of course, he only had one defense against Bruno Sammartino and was beaten fast. That gave the title much more credibility. While I am aware Pat "Won" the title in a fictional tournament, at least they CREATED fictional tourney for him to win, instead of a "boss" just handing him the title for no reason at all. The storyline reason I think that Bischoff gave Trips that title was due to the fact Trips won the Number ONe contender's match the previous week on Raw...but was unable to get the title shot due to Lesnar becoming Smackdown Exclusive.

Hi... I don't post on TNA boards often, though I don't know why I don't.... But anyway, I was wondering, since I only watch NWA by squiggle vision (as my parrents only let me order 2 PPVs a year)...anyone have a picture of the 3 NWA title belts for me? Thanks muchly.

That last match made me think... Rock, HHH, Goldust and Jarrett are the only 4 men to hold both the classic version of the Intercontinental Title and the Attitude Version of it, aren't they?

Actually, Rogers had plenty of defenses between when he was given the WWWF Championship and when Bruno beat it for him. Checked that out in the history of WWWF/WWF/WWE page. Also...yes Patterson was handed the IC Title...but only because they were using that belt to replace the WWWF North American Championship...which Patterson had won.

Yes I believe that was AS and I who called this "the Next billy and chuck"...you all told us we were fools. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! You are fools. But in this case, you were right.

OK...just found the problem I was having before... Kept trying to remove the screws on the front (the ones that I just found out were decoration) insted of the ones in the back (which actually hold on the nameplate) EDIT: Oh, and Zack...that better not have been you that handled my order in early June, where I ordered both a Micro and Mini sized WWE Title Belt (the micro is around my Dr. Evil Bobblehead's waist)...because they kept messing it up!
-
Hmm...I guess you'd know more about that than me. Personally, when I buy replica belts...well, at least for now, since all I've bought thus far was a mini of the WWE Title...I like the nameplate blank. Thinking about getting it engraved with my name though. Off topic slightly...for the mini belt, is the nameplate removable or no?
-
Vince probably wears it to bed. Here's a challenge for a belt to make replicas of...the WWF Women's Title from Late 1993 (I think) to 1995 or 6... You know which one I'm talking about. I don't know if anyone would buy a belt from a division based around Bertha Faye... Hey, people bought a belt from a division built around Crash Holly. And I think the division's one solid person (until her third reign, anyway) was Alundra. Nakano was short term, Faye was short term...and Aja Kong probably was gonna be as well the way things were going.

because they wanted a new era to present Austin with... OK...I guess that explains that one. Though, I still find it funny how little the belt that he got the night after WrestleMania was used. Just for a couple of months, then Austin brought in the Smoking Skull belt, right?
-
Sounds like the Ultimate Warrior with title belts there.

I posted a topic a while back about this, but good to see interest is still high in them. Yeah...thing is, I don't know WHY they ever decided to stop using the classic, winged eagle belt. Maybe make it a bit larger, but that's the only change I see should have been made. ...well, until the whole lawsuit thing...then the WWE logo would have had to have been put on it. ANYWAY...now all we need is the previous 3 styles of the WWWF/WWF/WWE Title and it'll be complete (the Sammartino Era one...the Morales/Stasiak/Sammartino 2/Graham/Early Backlund one, and the Backlund/Iron Sheik/Early Hogan one).
-
And lets not forget what I think could be considered Angle's worst match... Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Stasiak, Survivor Series 1999.

Definition in Royal Rumble Terms: IronMan: Person who lasts the longest in the Royal Rumble, even if doesn't win it. See: Kane, Ric Flair, Rick Martel, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho MY DEF. Means someone that lasts an Long time...45+ is the minimum for Iron Man Status. Weird...DiBiase in 1990 lasted about 35 minutes, and he was considered the Iron Man of that Royal Rumble. *shrug*

Hmm...would the Royal Rumble match itself count. I thought it was pretty good...very entertaining. Plus Jericho as the Iron Man for the Rumble...
