I enjoy SOME hosses. Taker and Hogan, I enjoy. Test is all right I guess. Some I don't enjoy though.

Say one positive thing about the following guys...

1) Was a great heel when he wasn't trying to be all intense. Made a great cocky rich jack-ass. Plus, he does seemingly have a desire for the business...however deluded that is. 2) Has great potential to be a good star. Is slowly learning how to sell better. 3) At times, can write interesting storylines. 4) Hmm...well, he's not TOO bad of a big guy. Definately a better worker than Big Show. 5) Despite all the injuries, he keeps on trying to get back into the ring to perform. 6) When he works smart, he's had one of the best companies in wrestling working. 7) Was the guy that I liked when I started watching wrestling. Played a VERY convincing dead man wrestler. 8) Willing to put up with crap gimmicks throughout his career. 9) ...well, he tries to be entertaining. Got to give him that. 10) For many years, got people into wrestling due to his charisma. Even with limited ring skills, can sometimes bring emotion to a storyline. 11) Seemingly more in-tune with the business than her brother nowadays. And not too bad to look at. 12) Like was said...has a job that many would envy. Plus at times can be funny in writing. 13) Good intense big man. If he was let loose properly, probably could be more entertaining than he is now. 14) Even through a broken back, is not too bad a performer. Not as great as he once was, but at least he TRIES to do good in the ring. 15) Plays a great psycho. Which works for him, considering a pet project of his in the past failed, and that would make him go insane. So much so he still uses Kronik's entrance music. 16) Is starting to be more entertaining than he ever was in his entire career. Guess the haircut helped him. -
I truly, with all of my heart, wish that Christian was getting Edge's push instead, I really do. Yeah, that would be nice. But first, they have to GIVE CHRISTIAN BACK HIS F'N PYRO! Yeah, and "CHRIST-IAAAAAAAAN...CHRIST-IAAAAAAAN...at last...you're on your oooooown" kinda loses its meaning when he's been put in tag teams again. Holy crap, I have never thought of that once... ...WHY DID YOU HAVE TO POINT IT OUT TO ME!? Because we like to mess with your head. ^^

Tough Enough shouldn't have gone beyond 1 season, IMO. Maven, Nowinski, and Nidia are enough. We didn't need Jackie and Linda...and I don't see anyone that I really want from TE3 in WWE. So...NO MORE TE!

I just hope that the last Smackdown of the year will be pretty cool. It should be interesting to see what happens.

I heard that, at the time, they said they'd never air the Austin breaking into Pillman's house footage again.' The JR anti-Vince speech led to the abysmal debuts of Razor Ramon 2 and Diesel 2. Billionaire Ted skits did more harm than good for WWF. HBK collapse...not sure why they don't have that one. I don't think they want a previous ECW invasion recognized, why that's not on there. And as for the rest, I just don't know. Of course, they don't have one of MY favorite moments: The debut of Dude Love. If only Foley could have spent the last 3 years of his career as Dude Love...he might be in better shape than he is right now. And he could have been Dude Love: WWF Champion.

It's not just you. ...scary thought...with Yuma on this forum now...I'm thinking of Hogan and Foley slash. >_<
-
Ok...as an old school Taker mark...one moment I really liked from Raw was when he returned to confront Kane after the whole 1998 Casket on fire incident. Which makes me wonder...how did they get Taker out of the casket before Kane and Bearer set it on fire and were chopping it up? There has to be SOME explaination to that...

Um...what you see of Waltman today is about a THIRD of what he used to do. That's why there's so much Waltman hatred. He was good when he was the 1-2-3 Kid or Syxx in WCW...but ever since the neck injury he suffered in his last few days of WCW, he seems to have lost something that made me like him.

I want to see an all wrestling channel... If it were made by the Smarks...>=)
-
...you know...I wonder... what would those old feuds of the past, like Savage/Hogan and such...be like with music videos like we have sometimes today?
-
"Fight" for Michaels/HHH was cool to me.
-
Eh...the only one I really had interest in was a Rockers one. So...just ignore it.
-
Do you write slash too Yuna? If you do...I challenge you to write a Rockers slash.
-
Ugh...*rolls eyes* Anyway...another misused talent...from back in the day. Marty Janetty (or is it Jannetty?). He could EASILY have been what they made Shawn Michaels...but either by WWF's choice or by his self abuse...he never was.
-
He only has gotten out of shape recently.... only in the gut area, though. He still has more toneage than Big Slow or 'Taker. Ravie still looks good, though, especially from this gal's pov ...you just want to use him in a slash story.
-
And he was scheduled to team with Austin on one too...IIRC.

Anyone have pictures of Hurricane's...
ChrisMWaters replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah...but I didn't feel like searching for it. -
1) Rob Van Dam: He's over, for most people he has exciting moves...in 2001 he was more cheered than most faces. Yet he never got a World Title. Big waste to me. 2) The Hurricane: Like RVD...he's over. Maybe not as much, but he's over. He has a marketable gimmick...he's a GREAT worker...and he could have been a great middle card wrestler. Yet he's regulated to lower card at best. 3) Matt Hardy: GREAT heel worker...showing that he's much better than his brother in the ring. He could be one of the best mid-card heels...yet his big chance was wasted on the A-Train.

I love the Hulk Hogan DVD, I mark out so much when I watch it, even though I've seen almost everything on it countless of times, lol. Heh...me too. Personally, I would like a DVD set with every one of Hogan's televised matches from the start of his career to today...just to say I have them. I'm pathatic, I mark out just hearing his theme song (any of them). I instantly want to start to do his taunts and motions, and usually just give into the music. Hogan could be 99 years old, walking to the ring with a walker, to his music, and I'd still love it and be marking out like hell. I may not be evil for liking him, but let me ask you this... ...am I evil for wanting him to be the World Champ almost always when he's active, tell me, am I!? Um...not sure. Me...I'd want Hogan to either become a manager or commentator. That to me would be kinda interesting.

Ah yes, very true, very true. Plus, that...along with another favorite of mine Molly turning full heel...invloved beating up Trish the Plastic Skank. ^_- Another fav moment: The debut of MIGHTY Molly! And a few weeks earlier, the Hurricane!
-
Heh...I thought it was kinda cool. I would have loved to have seen some WCW stars that never debuted into WWF do stuff on Raw like Vince, Regal, and Trish did on WCW. Like...Sting.
-
Why did it freak you out?
