The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread
ChrisMWaters replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Wendi Richter might have strained relations from how she was released from the company. Same with Alundra. Leilani Kai could replace one of them, I'm sure. -
So wait... Does that mean as long as you just have the save file for SvR 09, you don't need the disc of the game because it's all on the Legends of WrestleMania disc...or you need to put in the SvR 09 disc then put back in the Legends disc?

Heel Characters That You Agreed With?
ChrisMWaters replied to Big Green's topic in General Wrestling
Hogan always was a sore loser in Royal Rumbles. In his first Royal Rumble match, when he was eliminated by Bossman and Akeem, he eliminated Bossman after being eliminated. -
OK, figured out how to knock people out of the ring now. Now I just have to figure out all those secret objectives in the Austin/Rock match.

Only one that I can think of would be Edge.

Unified Tag, bring back a design similar to the basic design used from 1986-2002. -
Hmm...having trouble getting people to the outside of the ring. Anyone have pointers on that?
-
OK, thought that came about due to insomnia. I don't think that it should happen this year...but I was wondering something really crazy: Do you think for a future "celebrity inductee" to the Hall of Fame, a certain famous actor turned wrestler should be an inductee? I'm talking about, of course, Andy Kaufman. And before you say "Well, he was never in WWF!"...neither were Verne Gagne or Nick Bockwinkle, IIRC.
-
Insomnia made me stumble upon this: Error in that he's not in or error that Dusty revealed something he shouldn't have?
-
I could almost see Marty Wright/Boogeyman being brought in by Booker T as his bodyguard to protect him from AJ Styles.
-
Hmm, from what I saw in "Relive" we had: Hogan vs. Bundy from Mania 2 Hogan vs. Andre from Mania III Warrior vs. Hogan from Mania VI Hogan vs. Slaughter from Mania VII Hart vs. Austin from Mania 13 Austin vs. Michaels from Mania 14 EDIT: And I counted in Hall of Fame mode...there's actually 16 boxes, one for each WrestleMania, and one extra one. Wonder if that's just "Total" or if WrestleMania 2000 made it as an arena.

Sarcasm or not?

According to the video description on YouTube, it is Jericho.

For 360 Owners. I've read the latest is March 31st for DLC. We'll see if that changes or not.
-
Hmm...looks like neither US or IC titles this time at WrestleMania. *Misses the days when all the titles were defended at WrestleMania. ...then again, those days were when there were only 3-5 titles insted of the 9 we have now.
-
I say that this Monday for the contract signing, they should do like WrestleMania XX and have Cena sign in Big Show's name spot, forcing the Triple Threat Match if that's what they're planning on doing.
-
If he's in, he's not going to be one of the starters. He may be a secret character that's just being kept WELL under wraps (that's looking doubtful) or, if they have it, he may be downloadable content.

Whenever you want to run in to save someone, you MUST have your music blaring over the speakers.

It hasn't. It was last defended at WrestleMania X8, where RVD beat then champion Regal. XIX there was no IC Title XX Orton was champion, and was in the handicap match 21 an 22 Shelton was champion, and in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match 23 Umaga was IC Champ, faced ECW Champ Lashley Last year Jericho was IC Champ, in Money in the Bank. -
Probably because it's easier to set up before a match. For the mesh cage, they just lower it onto the ring insted of having people come out and build it with the bar cage. An example of them having to come out and build the cage before a match would be WrestleMania 2 for the Hogan and Bundy match. Plus the mesh is dangerous! <Michael Cole>You could get a finger caught in there! EDIT: And if you want to be technical, the mesh steel cage is older than the bars...as I remember an old special Steel Cage Match magazine for WWF had pictures of Andre in a cage match that was mesh.
-
English please. Is the steel cage match the blue bar cage or mesh cage? Why is Hell in the Cell in a "Legends" game? That doesn't make a lot of sense. I like that the Battle Royal is a match mode. That could be really fun, but does that mean there is going to be lots of wrestlers in the ring at the same time or is it gonna be a 8 man battle royal? Hope its the classic Blue Bar Cage, some of my favorite matches have happened in that cage. Sometimes wish they'd bring it back to WWE billed as the 'Classic Cage Match' claiming the thick blue bars did more damage or whatever. Hell, even if they don't use the blue bars, they can still bring back the classic cage. If I remember correctly, Austin/McMahon at St. Valentine's Day Massacre was a bar-style cage, but the bars were black insted of blue. ...then again, they may not be able to use it because of the stunt they had done with Big Show throwing Austin into the cage, and the wall opening up to let Austin go to the floor.

Kane on that figure looks like one of the Nasty Boys.

WWE General Discussion - February 2009

Why would Rey care about Dominic? He's really Eddie's son so he should go ahead and off him. Or are we supposed to forget that. <WWE Creative>Would you look at this please? -
WWE SmackDown - February 27, 2009

I like that Savage is getting more mentions on WWE TV. Like how they're preparing to mention the DVD coming out. Also find it interesting that in 89, the main eventers wore red and yellow and orange and white respectively...where as 10 years later, both wore black.
