  1. Hehehehehe....Taker/Brock being compared to a Wargames match. I wonder if we went back to when Lesnar debuted and told the people here that if they would agree...

For Christ sakes, turn SOMEONE already.

I don't understand how people compare Flair to Angle. He also would have one of those reigns and usually win it back within a reasonable time. Yeah...but that's because Flair was a backstage booker most of the time he won the WCW title. Until Angle becomes a booker or gets some influence like that, I don't see him getting belts back quickly like Flair. Besides that, it was a different time period the two faced in.
  3. Well, cause the nWo is dead... If it were still around, I could easilly see a shirt of it made. ...then again, I thought they would have had a "Ruthless Aggression" shirt by now...
  4. Well, a decade too late, but it was still a cool match. "YOU WANT THE NATURE BOY AT WRESTLEMANIA!?!?! WELL..WOOOOO...YOU...WOOO...GOT...WOOOOOO...ME!!!!!" That was a mark-out moment. Heh, yeah. Sadly, that match was probably the best that Flair and Taker both wrestled all year... ...well, maybe Hell in the Cell for Taker...
  5. Well, we sorta did get Undertaker vs. Flair. Of course it was a few years too late.
  6. Yeah... like has been said, usually Vince doesn't like pushing people to the top titles if he didn't make them. Exceptions being Ric Flair and Big Show (come on, Show is basically Giant with a different name)
  7. Not for wrestling, but for how good it was built...Hogan and Rock. For how well he performed considering...Michaels/HHH at Summerslam. Cut off before the sledge shot post match.
  8. Actually, I originally heard that Vader was suppossed to be where Sid was in that Survivor Series, but he got injured before hand and couldn't compete properly. If Vader was in that match Shawn would have bitched. Shawn jobbed to Sid because Sid was his friend. PERIOD. Heh, perhaps. Though, people wouldn't be picking on the fact of Vader being champion...unlike they do about when Sid was the champion.

  10. Well, I think in his mind, he thinks that he gave Sid the rub when he had Sid beat him back in Survivor Series 96. Then again, that's in Shawn's mind.

    Ross Report For 11/22

I still stand by my theory that Albert would be best suited to play the son of George "The Animal" Steele. Have him chew turnbuckles next Velocity!
  13. Hmm....that would be interesting if they did. Maybe they were just setting it up so Shawn would have his last fling as a champion, then he could give it to RVD at the end. But then again, this IS 2002 WWE.

    WWE Fears NWA-TNA?

With the rising popularity of NWA-TNA and the lately up-and-down ratings WWE has been expierencing, Vince McMahon has been becoming increasingly worried about the competition NWA-TNA could produce in the future. NWA-TNA which features many former WWE talent, that have found a home with different management has been producing live weekly PPV's for the past few months now, and have grown very popular in a short time. Right now, NWA-TNA can be considered WWE's main competition, and could possibly pose a threat to WWE in the future, much like WCW did. Some believe that in the future there could be rating battles between WWE & NWA-TNA much like there was between WWF & WCW a few years ago Source: ProWrestling.com -------------------------------------------------------- If this is true, maybe Vince will see what they're doing right and fight it. Either it's true, or some fan posted what they think should happen.

  20. Hmm...and technically, he only defended the title in the last two of those PPVs...Summerslam and Survivor Series 88 he teamed with Hogan (the latter with others too), and in Rumble 89 he was in the Rumble match. Not that great of a judge...*shrug*
  21. Slightly off subject: What were the buyrates during the two times that Randy Savage was WWF Champion?
  22. ChrisMWaters

    OVW Sez: Jackie Gayda sucks.

Because they were afraid of Smarks yelling that Vince hated blacks some more because they instantly made the black girl the Heel...
