  2. I think so too. Maybe get a pink one...
  3. I don't mind. This is the thread that will get my posts up. Soon, I'll have more posts than the guy who showed me this board, AndrewTS
  4. And the fireworks actually happened tonight! And the opening theme! No hold down this week! ...and HBK in his pseudo nWo shirt. ...RVD curtain jerks. FOUL!

I agree with Anglesault slightly. He isn't big man in the classic aspects...he's more of the Lex Luger kind of Big Man.

*Ponders if Anglesault would be saying the same thing if Brock was trained by Vader*

What about Vader's moonsault? He is as HOSS as it gets and he used that moonsault alot. That was a whole different Era. The Main event wasn't just punch/Kick then. They had guys like Shawn, Bret, Davey, Owen, etc wrestling in the Main events. It was "Okay" for a Bigger Man to pull off a "Big" Move then. Even Taker left his feet back then. Heh, true. But if people like RVD could ever get a main title, I could see things like that happen again. BTW...you went up to my birthyear in posts for this one, which is why I needed to reply to it (The year being 1982

What about Vader's moonsault? He is as HOSS as it gets and he used that moonsault alot. Eh, Vader isn't that great of an example. His "White Castle of Fear" segment sealed his fate in the WWF when he broke that mirror. I think that most people here know what I am talking about.

Eh, that's not always true. For the short (and I do mean REALLY short) time Bam Bam Bigelow was a main eventer, they kept him using his top rope headbutt, and in a way he was a hoss.
  10. If there's gonna be more Raw side PPV matches for Survivor Series, they'll be announced tonight (hopefully). My only question is this: how are they gonna make Super Tuesday believably live to the people who don't have access to spoilers? I mean...I have a friend of mine who for the longest time thought that Smackdown was live...he'll probably think Super Tuesday is live too. But then again, they have the two sets...eh, I dunno.

    Improving the Women's Division

OK...unfortunately, we all realize that the WWE Women's Division is crap. Half of the "wrestlers" for it are simply beauty models with minimal wrestling skills, and the few real wrestlers in it aren't allowed to showcase their skills that well (like my goddess). So...how could it be improved? There are a few ways, if you ask me. 1)Cut the crap. People like Terri, Stacy, and others of the like will NEVER be CREDIBLE Women's Champions. Just look at Debra for an example of that. Keep the female wrestlers wrestling. I would say Trish, but she's showing she can improve, so keep her. Keep people like Jazz, Victoria, Ivory, and Molly (DEFINATELY Molly) working for the title. 2)Get some skilled women wrestlers. Out there in the world there are plenty of female grapplers looking for a big chance. What are the girls of WOW doing now that that company went down the toilet. Sure they're not as alluring to some people as some of the WWE girls, but I can easilly see them becoming popular as well. Hell, Luna Vachon was popular while managing the Oddities...hmm, if she hasn't burned all the bridges with WWE, bring her back for a short bit. Look to the Land of the Rising Sun as well. Japan REALLY knows how to do Women's wrestling well. 3)Less gimmick matches. 9 times out of 10, whenever you see women wrestling, it's something idiotic like puddle of mud matches and the like. Hell, not even GLOOW does that crap all the time, and they are one of the worst women's wrestling outlets out there. Gimmick matches should only be used once in a while, not almost every time you see women wrestlers on camera. 4)Build bigger feuds. I kinda like the Victoria/Trish feud right now. Victoria despising Trish for what she is and, according to Victoria, what she's done in the past builds a good feud. Unlike the main event scene on the same show...uh. Anyone have any other ideas?

    Current WWE T-Shit Problems

All righ...here's a basic thing to talk about, outside from the production problems WWE has had recently... Ever notice that nowadays, WWE tends to overload T-Shirts? It seems that any new shirt that they make, they put too many things on it. Case in point? Now, if they just kept the front alone how it is, I think that this shit could be very effective. Most people who get this shirt probably would wear a jacket with it...because the front is the best. Another example... Now this is one of the better ones of this example, but still...is that quote on the back REALLY needed? Simplicity works. Look at the nWo T-Shirt...one of the most famous shirts in history...got over with just the simple nWo logo on the front of it. Look at the majority of Hogan's shirts. NOTHING on the back (mostly because of the 3 tears in the back for the shirts in the past). Just a simple "Hulkamania", "Hulk Rules" or the such on the front. Memorable. "Austin 3:16" and "What" are Austin's 2 most memorable shirts. Sure they had something on the back, but how many people really remember THAT much? Plus, it was a simple logo. Similarly was the classic DX shirt. Simplicity is the key. Do you guys agree or disagree? [And I was bored, hence this post.]

    What about Raven?

You know, I think I know why Vince McMahon is so against having Raven get a big push, besides that Raven is from ECW... McMahon HAD him before...when he was Johnny Polo...and didn't do anything major with him...thinking he'd get better over as a manager. He's upset that Raven got over better with his dark, brooding character rather than the enthusiastic manager.

    YAAR: The Tweener Turns

You have to give credibility to someone before the Royal Rumble to make them seem like they're likely to win the match. Hell, they TRY to do it each year with the Big Show... So START NOW. I'm not disagreeing that they should start making ANgle credible now...but the thing is, this is WWE...they believe that their logic is best. Unfortunately, we have to suffer with the fact of knowing that the WWE thinks they know what's right in these situations. But still, if they are gonna make him somewhat credible looking, and if they are planning to put him in the WM Main Event, they'll do it...maybe around the next PPV.

I have thought that since it happened. Owen was over big time after the whole ''King of Harts" thing. He deserved that BIG push that he never got. But I don't think that it would have mattered concerning his death. I am one that believes that when your time's up, then your time's up. Maybe, maybe not. Think of it this way: if Owen was WWF Champion, they would have a direction for him. They wouldn't have put him in the Nation, then into a tag team with Jeff Jarrett, then brought back the Blue Blazer, which led to Owen's death. That's just my opinion though.

?? You have to give credibility to someone before the Royal Rumble to make them seem like they're likely to win the match. Hell, they TRY to do it each year with the Big Show... The numerous Stephanie bitchouts, the stinkfaces, the stupid things they do in matches (Hitting yourself with a chair, jobbing to Billy and Chuck) They were booked well exactly ONE time in the two months leading up to No mercy. How sad is that? Not very, considering where they're working. I don't think ANYONE is booked well in the company right nwo.
  17. ChrisMWaters

    What about Raven?

Great use of Real Logic there in that post...and how anyone INTELLIGENT would book this as possibly happening. However, this is WWE...with Captain Senility...to be renamed Vince McMahon...in charge. Logic like that won't happen.

Because it was late WCW, bps. No one cared by then. Anyway...while Austin did get a great boost to his career after this and Shawn's back...I still think that they should have tried with Owen Hart first. It would have been GREAT! ...and Owen might have stayed alive to this day...*sigh*

    YAAR: The Tweener Turns

Before Rumble, remember. If they still are doing that, they'd have to have him win the Royal Rumble to be pushed. Knowing them, if they do have the WWE title up for the winner of the Royal Rumble...they'll have Benoit and Angle BOTH win ala Luger and Hart in 94, but then they both have a match against each other deciding who REALLY gets the shot. Oh, and their last segment I saw, with them brawling during a Halloween party, wasn't one that made them look like absolute morons. Just like two guys who will do anything to beat the shit out of the other. That's how it looked to me.

    YAAR: The Tweener Turns

I personally think that it's to finally get a climax to the Benoit/Angle feud for a while. I may be wrong, but that's how I feel.

    From the observer....

I'm not sure...but the first Bret Hart match I saw was back in 1994, shortly before King of the Ring. Don't remember the opponent. The second Hart match I saw was the Hart/Backlund title match where Backlund first snapped.

    YAAR: The Tweener Turns

Angelsault...if you actually WATCHED the shows, you'd know they didn't focus on the fact that Edge beat Angle. They focused on the fact that Benoit's top rope headbutt accidentally cost Angle and Benoit the Smackdown Tag Team titles.

    Current WWE T-Shit Problems

If you're talking about his most recent run in WWF/E, then no. They only had the "WOOOOOOOO (et al)" shirt. Previous shirts? Not sure.
  24. ChrisMWaters

    From the observer....

Two words for you: Bret Hart. Before his match with Ric Flair where he won the title, Bret Hart was losing matches to both Flair and a recently debuted Razor Ramon. His title win was viewed as an Upset when he first got it.

    Current WWE T-Shit Problems

WWE would probably tell security people to have anyone with a "You Screwed Bret" shirt trade their shirt for a WWE shirt.
