Aww...I wanted them to wear the costumes during the matches. THAT would have been fun!

Ron Simmons IS the Slickster! ...Zorro Eddy...

Here we go! Let the insanity begin as soon as this first batch of commercials goes.

WWE FEARS THE CHAIRMAN: LA PARKA! ...wondering though...did WWE steal WCW's schtick with La Parka for Kai En Tai or Vice Versa?
-
Bump
-
Exactly. But he showed up in 1996, not 1994. I remember because his first match back was at WrestleMania 12, which was in 1996.
-
I just wonder... Will only fans inattenance be in costume, or will some of the wresters competing be in costume as well?
-
OK, over with the Smarks then.

The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter. Bret Hart is said to be more open now than ever before to returning to WWE at some point in his life. Hart has been in regular contact with McMahon since Vince called him to wish him well after he suffered his stroke during a bicycle accident earlier this year. The clips of Bret Hart on WWE television promoting the WWE Anthology CD are part of McMahon's attempt to mend fences with Hart as many say McMahon wouldn't even consider bringing up Hart on his television in the past. Vince sees it as great vindiction for many things he has been accused of doing wrong over the years if Hart would be able to forgive him enough to return to his company. If Bret would make such a move, it would be done mainly because he misses the spotlight and wants to show fans he is doing well physically after his stroke. It's likely that Bret Hart's video library would also be a factor as he has wanted it for a long time now to use in books and videos, and McMahon has promised him it on several occassions to no avail. -------------------------------------------------- Now the question is this: If Bret Hart DID come back, WHAT would his role be for the WWE?
-
I believe that if Goldberg gets signed, Austin will get signed. However, the question is if either of them want to come to WWE>

November 17.

Hmm...just making sure I got the image right, since last time I saw MSG and remembered it was my tape of WM10 and Royal Rumble 2000....you're the opposite side of where the wrestlers come out, right? Also...will be interesting to see what the entrance looks like for this PPV.
-
Don't get your hopes up on that one. Last I heard, Bret wasn't even CONSIDERING going out to wrestle ever again. Sad fact, but true.
-
Well, that's a good point. But then again, that would just be another one of Vince's "Quick Fixes"
-
How close is that to the ring?
-
The way that Raw is doing, and the fact that the Raw Brand's elimination Chamber is being promoted... I wouldn't be surprised if people REFUNDED their tickets. ^^;
-
Well...who's to say that Hart would return on Raw?
-
NOO! It can't be! Molly is just being mis-used! Let her wrestle for real and she'll take Vicky to school!
-
And be the victim of Harvina. Now THAT'S something that's REALLY pathetic.

I would kinda like to see Rhyno come to Smackdown. Not because it's a better show, but because I see Heyman bringing in Rhyno to take out Lesnar after they break apart.
-
You know, I do believe that Austin will return sometime in the near future. Think about it, there is one BIG match that WWE did not take advantage of when Austin was last with the company. Can anyone say..."Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin?
-
I agree wholeheartedly about the extended feud deal. The only problem with this is that it will cause many of the same matches, because unlike years ago, we have a PPV every month now. However, I believe if they ever went back to just the Big Five of PPVs, we could easily have long term feuds.
-
Good point. After all, McMahon is the guy that thought that Marc Mero would be a viable main eventer...even over Austin
-
I doubt it, but hopefully this will be a wake up call to Vince McMahon. I don't know what cased him to wake up back when WCW was kicking his ass in the mid 90's, but hopefully this does something similar.
