Edge is just a little bitter that his "Brother" is a World Champion and he isn't. EDIT: ANd for those of you who mentioned Val Venis....
-
Called the name flubbing by JR. Melina wins by submission.
-
And now let's see how many times JR flubs the names up in this match.
-
And Cryme Tyme gets shafted.

For Wii owners and Homestar Runner fans: http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/Viidelectrix Something for you all to look at.

As well as "Superstar", which was one of two themes used for WrestleMania X8.

OK, I have another one. 50: Sonic Team seemingly just going through the motions, if that. Yeah, we know that Sonic games are tough in 3D, given that classic Sonic's nature was all about 2D gameplay. But you could at least TRY to get things like camera and controls at the VERY least correct, insted of just cranking things out.

Speaking of which... We speculated this back during the build up to the Cena/HHH match at Mania 22: Let's say for some reason, Taker DOES face Cena at Mania, and wins. Would Taker go back to the previous belt design, keep the current design, or introduce a brand new design? replace it with the satanic ministry symbol! With either a Stone Cold Steve Austin or Stephanie McMahon action figure attached to it?

49: With the exception, for me, of "Super Sonic Racing", the songs from Sonic R. With the exception of that song, I usually have the game on mute.

OK, maybe I didn't remember as well. But it probably wasn't clean.

I remember the feud. But I don't think that Cena won any match over Taker in that time period. ...going back to the Hogan/Andre to Cena/Taker comparison, I think it was the same way with them...I don't think, before Mania III, Hogan won a match over Andre. Course the only one I know about is the Shae Stadium one...

See, I see Cena/Taker more of a better choice to have a sorta Hogan/Andre vibe than anything else. Let me explain. John Cena = Hulk Hogan...and not just because of how invincible they're made to look like. Cena is the man that has been, for the better part of the past 2 years, WWE Champion. He's been fighting hard, proving himself (sorta), and being the best he can. He, like Hogan, is the young champion out to prove himself (...yes, Hogan was relatively young at the time of WrestleMania 3) The Undertaker = Andre The Giant. Besides the Mania Streak being the equivilent to Andre's "15 year unbeaten streak", there's also the tenure factor. Undertaker's time in WWF/E I think is pretty close to how long Andre was in WWF at the time of Mania 3. He'll be the fighting legend, looking to prove himself over the young champion. Now the slamming thing won't come into effect, but still...it's pretty damn close there. Add to that I don't think Cena has ever beaten Undertaker, and you have, in my eyes, a better main event than Batista/Taker.

I'd laugh if the big change was the one I was hoping for: Cena vs. Taker at Mania. BOOK IT!

Still no titles next to the names of the champions? -
OK, I compiled Kurt's TNA Record. Kurt is currently 6-2-2 (televised) in TNA: 2-Hour Impact! (11/16/06): Kurt Angle defeats Abyss (w/James Mitchell) by submission Genesis (11/19/06): Kurt Angle defeats Samoa Joe by submission Impact! (11/30/06): NWA World Tag Team Champions The Latin-American Exchange vs. Kurt Angle and Petey Williams ends in a no contest due to Samoa Joe entering for a pre-match injured Williams. Impact! (12/07/06): Kurt Angle pins Samoa Joe in an "All Star War" also including Sting, Christian Cage, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Abyss and Rhino Turning Point (12/10/06): Samoa Joe defeats Kurt Angle by submission Impact! (12/21/06): Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles defeat Kurt Angle and Rhino Impact! (01/04/07): Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage (w/Tomko) ends in a no-contest Impact! (01/11/07): Kurt Angle defeats Maverick Matt by submission Final Resolution (01/14/07): Kurt Angle defeats Samoa Joe in a #1 Contenders Iron Man Match 3 falls to 2. Impact! (01/18/07): Kurt Angle pins A.J. Styles

Didn't he also beat Maverick Matt?
-
Exactly. That's one of the things i look forward to. But i guess with all the old guys coming out for Flair, they had used up all their old WWF guys. Well, back in the old days they'd announce everyone before hand. If only the had Vince McMahon announcing all 30 entrants during the opening video like the old shows.
-
I don't know if the people would have been able to deal with a 2 year long Batista title reign. This isn't the 70s and 80s where you could get away with reigns that long.
-
Did you have the TV Tuner too?
-
One thing I'm glad about is McMahon didn't try to get involved in the Cena/Umaga match. I was worried when ol' Plaid suit was talking to Cena backstage.
-
I say they swerve everyone and change it so it's Cena/Taker at Mania.
-
I only had one dissapointment for the Rumble match... The Boogeyman wasn't an entrant.

And yet Raw is still considered the superior brand by WWE. I mean, Smackdown won most of the stuff in the Raw vs. Smackdown war of late 2005. Smackdown has won the most Rumbles. Smackdown won the 2002 King of the Ring... They won the Survivor Series 05 match. That's part of the Raw vs. Smackdown war of late 2005.
