I honestly dont Remember Marc Mero as IC Champ...I was crazy marking back then..So that should tell you something about that reign..I rememebr HHH being the champ...I do remember now that I read the thin w/ perfect...But Damn I dont rememebr Mero as IC Champ He beat Faarooq on a Raw in the IC Title Tourney Semi-Finals. That might have actually been the first match he used the SSP in WWE too, but i could be wrong about that. Was that the Thursday Raw Thursday Special? No, I think it was a Monday. Cause like I said, that night was Fake Razor appearing, and the night before was a PPV.

THe Smoking Gunns I think..that's when Faarooq fuck him upand damn near killed him with a kick and they had to have a tournament..I think that's how HHH got the belt..I think he was still on his MSG punishment..Is all that correct..Does anyone else rememeber all this..I was 11 at the time so im not sure Almost. "Wildman" Marc Mero won the belt in the tournament over Faarooq. Later, Trips challenged Mr. Perfect to a match, but then somehow (I don't remember how) it changed into an IC Title Match against Mero. Perfect turned against Mero, and Hunter won the belt.

I understand his point though, there was a time that if a guy was IC champion you knew he was close to a world title reign or atleast getting several shots in the mainevent, these days it's nothing even close to that. I know and agree. I just like messing with people.
