Luger's gonna kick the crap out of Yoko!

Opinionated much? Jarrett's only real decent match? Um, okay The only downside to the match is the stalling but, if you think about it, just about every big or important match in the past 20 years has had its fair share of stalling. I don't think it's that we're looking at the past with rose colored glasses - I think it's just that 1995 blew chucks and this was one of the rare highlights. And by the way - cheap heel tactics rule!

The story that I've heard was that he didn't like the direction he character was going - that he couldn't really sing, etc. Seems like a rather lame reason to walk out on the WWF, which makes me believe there has to be more to it than that. Keep in mind Road Dogg walked out too as both men were on the verge of a feud.

Mmhmm, typical nerd arguement.

Okay, okay - it won't be clean. There will be interference from 3MW and / or Nowinski (even though he's not on the card) - but the Roid Freak shall fall.

I hate you. It only cost me my master of IYH: Good Friends...Better Enemies (which I kinda want back).

No way are they putting Steiner over Christian, in a match billed as USA vs. Canada, in Ottawa. That would kill the crowd. That would be like the Hulkster losing a flag match to Nikolai Volkoff.

I find it funny that Jarrett proceeds to wrestle he best match and look great, and within two weeks he storms out of the WWF. He was actually gone the next day, according to the following night's Raw. I believe PWI voted it as the runner up or 2nd runner up for MOTY, with HBK / Diesel taking the top spot. I thought the match was very well done but going into the PPV, which I have the commercial master of, I figured HBK would - at best - pick up a DQ or count-out victory but not walk away with the belt. I thought the match was just put together to put more heat on the champion, that he could always escape with the title even when he was facing a guy that came within seconds of winning the world title at WrestleMania. If you guys can ever find a copy of that entire PPV - get it. Jarrett singing "With My Baby Tonight" (well, it's actually Road Dogg singing but that's fine) is gold! The music video they aired on Superstars was cool too. I'm a total Jarrett mark.

I sure hope someone gets pictures of Steiner doing the clean job.

See, I just assumed it was one of those cults where everyone drinks a lot of spiked Kool-Aid.

I lucked out myself a few years back and found a master at a local video store for $2 or so. If only they were aware of eBay - could have made so much more.

Okay, I have a sadly-large collection of tapes and since I've made up my mind to get to WrestleMania XX - and I don't watch the tapes very often I was CONSIDERING getting rid of a few. It's true that Adnan didn't arrive until the fall but I believe Slaughter did mention Iraq at Summer Slam - as Desert Shield had just begun.

Eh, I don't think so. It's purty.

What they most likely did for this weekend was fly into Roanoke, get a rental car, drive it to Charlottesville on Sunday, drive it to Richmond on Monday, leave it at the Richmond airport, and fly out after Monday's Raw.

At the moment, I'm only interested in recieving payment via Pay Pal.

I'm taking Worringham for Advertising - he's probably somewhat new; from South Africa. I'm going to try to get into Media Ethics next spring - haven't had a chance to take it thus far.

Sweet. Graduated high school in 99 from Alaska, then did 2 years at Arizona State - just got here in August. Also doing the media studies route - concentration in journalism.

Depends. I'm just checking to see if there's interest at this point.

Yeah, he reffed Taker/Yoko from Survivor Series '94. Was also in attendance at WrestleMania VII and did a run-in for Goldberg (along with Jean-Claude) on a Nitro held in Texas. I gotta say - I used to love the poorly sung theme song. "The eyes of a ranger are upon you Anywhere you go, he's gonna see When you're in Texas look behind you ...Cause that's...where the ranger's...gonna be" I think the writers stole that from wrestling too. Originally it went something like "If you ever take a trip down to Cobb County, GA ... you better read the signs, respect the law or you'll be serving HAAAAARD TIIIIIME!"

I was in Virginia back in 94 but home (as it technically is now) is northern Virginia - a good 4 hour drive from here, so I missed out on Fall Brawl. I'm sure WCW had a ton of Nitros / Thunders in Roanoke. I'm currently in college at Radford University, which is about a half hour away. I love the arena - it's small enough so that there isn't a bad seat in the house and for what I paid for my 4th row ticket ($40) I would be halfway up the arena in, say, the MCI Center or Baltimore Arena. I believe the floor seats at the MCI house show I went to last June went for over $100.

I yelled at Storm and Christian - got them to look over and wave. Rico was the nicest out of everyone - came over and signed autographs, took pics, etc for a good 10 minutes or so.
