1190. Don't recall the specifics but verbal was considerably higher. Never studied; took them a few times just to see if I could improve. All my friends were fairly on-edge about doing well. I was like "Whatever...I'm not a moron and I know I'm getting into a good college either way." And I did.

Dino-Saucers or something like that - they came from another planet. It was on USA (along with Denver). I watched it every freaking day when I was in 2nd grade.

A few weeks ago I picked up tickets for the April 12th Raw brand show at the Roanoke Civic Center. Following WrestleMania, I tried to find the card anywhere on the net - but WWE.com didn't have it, Tickets.com didn't have it, and Ticketmaster didn't have it. I finally found it on the Civic Center website. The original main event (before Mania took place) was Booker vs. Triple H. Check this out: Catch all the action and excitement of the World Wrestling Entertainment - WRESTLEMANIA REVENGE TOUR Roanoke Civic Center Saturday, April 12 at 7:30 PM. Don't miss over 25 of your favorite WWE Superstars. The following are scheduled to appear: Booker T, Shawn Michaels, and Diesel vs. Ric Flair, Triple H, and Chris Jericho - 6 Man Tag RVD and Kane vs. Bubba and D-Von vs. Lance Storm and Chief Morley - 3 Team Elimination Tag Titles Test vs. Christian Goldust vs. Steven Richards Booker T. vs. Rodney (with Teddy Long) Trish Stratus vs. Victoria vs Molly- Title Match - Triple Threat Rules The Hurricane and Maven vs. Rosie and Jamal Spike vs. Chris Nowinski Jeff Hardy vs Rico (Please note card is subject to change without notice) Booker is in the main event AND he's facing Rodney Mack? I know that's not the most interesting change to the card, but it is odd.

And now, from the optimist's point of view: I thought that was a very solid show. Seemed like everyone put on their working boots and even Albert / Benoit had an element of suspense, considering how they're pushing Albert down our throats every week. Noble / Kendrick rocked for how short it was. They could easily work a PPV match together. Taker / Mysterio was fun. Benoit / Albert was stiff. Putting Cena in the ring with Eddie was a great way to put Cena over (and the match was much better than I anticipated from Cena). The tag title match did a good job of further establishing the champs as unbeatable while at the same time giving much-deserved TV time to Tajiri and Funaki. Big Show / Rhyno could have had more to it than the lame DQ ending. The only thing I had a problem with was Sable. She's still annoying as hell on the mic.

Any wrestler-specific comp should have stuff on there that not EVERYONE has seen a billion times already. With that in mind: vs. Roddy Piper (2nd Annual Battle of the WWF Superstars) vs. British Bulldog (Rampage 91) vs. Hulk Hogan (WrestleFest 90) vs. Ric Flair (Invasion of the Bodyslammers or Raw: Prime Cuts or WrestleFest 93; the later two are the Loser Leaves the WWF match) Survivor Series 89 Perfect in the 90 Rumble vs. Bret (KOTR and Summer Slam ... I'd get my hands on some of their 89 matches too) vs. Flair (World War 3 '97 No DQ match) vs. DDP (Starrcade 97) Survivor Series 92

Wow, you guys are so gay lol jk Now my turn: City of Angels Titanic (I've only seen it once - the day it came out in theaters ... not bad) The Wedding Singer (yeah, more comedy than anything but the ending was sappy and I loved it) Shakespeare in Love Jerry Maguire ("Did you know ... that my neighbor has three rabbits?" ... now picture Horatio Sanz saying that)

I thought Season 1's Prophecy Girl was great. It had all the feel of a 2hr finale crammed into 60 minutes. It developed all the characters MUCH more and was a great way to end the first season after a mere 8 weeks on the air. As far as how I would rate the season finales: 2 - Becomming Parts 1 and 2 are pheonomanal 5 - Buffy loses everything on the way to her making the ultimate sacrifice 4 - Offbeat, captivating, multi-layered, and definately kept me thinking 1 - Can be watched an appreciated by non-fans; all-inclusive episode 3 - Who doesn't want to graduate high school without a big climactic battle with vampires and a giant snake? 6 - Evil Willow was awesome Now, when I rate 3 and 6 at the bottom of the barrel DOES NOT mean I don't love those episodes. It just means, in comparison to the others, they don't hold up as well.

He's flubbed. No one's perfect. I don't have specifics, but I've read a few house show reports where he messed up something.
-
Pretty good read. I have a lot of respect for Bradshaw for going over there.

I'm thinking about going to XX myself. Might even fly up since I'm in southwestern VA and the drive is around 10 hours. Might be steep, but I've got a year to work on that.

Oh okay, this match is from a TV taping right before the Raw match. Perfect gets the clean pin with the Perfect Plex when Flair lowers his head. The Raw match is better - this had a lot of potential but it was too short.
-
Never saw WrestleFest 93 but they also had a match on Invasion of the Bodyslammers.
-
She was scheduled to work the women's match prior to Mania - not sure what changed that.
-
Wait, what about the guys like Jerry Lynn that had about 5 minutes of TV time, went out there, busted their asses in the ring to get over, made everyone backstage look lazy, and got released because of it?
-
Oh damn, my self-esteem is shot to hell - Triple H doesn't care what I think.
-
Big Van Vader = king of the hosses. Could go a half hour AND do moonsaults.
-
I believe Wham, Bam, Bodyslam. The match is from Portland, ME in July 94.
-
Last I checked, the WWE wasn't in the red by $95 bazillion last year. I think they're okay.

If Mero is going to come back, he may as well bring out the big guns and return as Johnny B. Badd - confetti guns and all.

The sad things is I have master copies of most of the CHV ... so, the list is a little long. Almost anything from the Bulldogs and Hart Foundation tapes: Dynamite vs. Bret from Landover Bulldogs vs. Harts from Boston Bret vs. Steamboat from Boston Harts & Danny Davis vs. Hogan & Billy Jack Haynes (just to see Hogan and Bret in the ring together) from Even More Unusual Matches Harts vs. Rockers from WrestleFest 90 Harts vs. LOD from WrestleFest 91 Almost anything from Hulkamania 1 (where Hogan actually works) and Inside the Steel Cage: Hogan vs. Schultz Hogan vs. Valentine Backlund vs. Patterson from MSG (cage) Savage / Adonis vs. Sammartino / Santana from MSG (cage) Bret vs. Flair from Invasion 92 Shawn vs. Flair from Invasion 92 Warrior vs. Dibiase from the Tokyo Dome from World Tour 90 Bret vs. Bigelow from Barcelona from Global Warfare Shawn / Diesel vs. Razor / Kid from Shawn Michaels: Hits from the Heartbreak Kid The previously mentioned Shawn vs. Savage match from Munich, Germany featured on World Tour 92. HBK had a few title shots against Savage but that's the only one I've seen on video or TV. I really liked Rampage 92. It's not big on 4 star matches but it's the very first CHV I ever rented. - Warrior / Taker vs. Shango / Bezerker - Bret vs. Shawn - Bulldog wins a 40-man battle royal - Savage vs. Repo - Taker vs. Razor - LOD / Elloring vs. Beverlys / Genius - Tatanka vs. Martel ...maybe a few others.
-
That match was actually on Super Tape 2.
-
He's writing the final ep. Try imdb.com for detailed recaps of who wrote which episode.

Booooooooooooo, that was a Smackdown! spoiler!
-
I used to watch the show (on USA) all the time as a kid. It wasn't until a few seasons in that I got around to seeing the movie - which still holds up as one of the best 80s films.

I posted this under the Firefly thread a while back but it's worth mentioning here. The guy that played the lead role on that show will be playing the preacher. I don't consider that worthy of being called a spoiler so ... don't flame me.
