Earthquake to be at Wrestlemania??
cawthon777 replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in The WWE Folder
A 6.7 isn't the best way to wake up in the morning but it's not going to open up a hole to hell either. We used to have semi-regular earthquakes in the 5-6 range when I lived in Alaska. A little unnerving but that was it. I'm not putting much stock into this story or how it relates to WrestleMania. -

Fabolous To Appear WrestleMania XIX
cawthon777 replied to Zetterberg is God's topic in The WWE Folder
Hell, how about some Hall & Oates, Weird Al, or Journey? WrestleMania can become the equivalent of the county fair where washed up or never-were's can promote their latest album. -
Now I know why I hate the guy and his sheep followers.

Fabolous To Appear WrestleMania XIX

Probably. Rappers are known for having guns. -
...Oh wow. This website is Savage giving himself a messy blowjob, nothing more. "This is a historical moment...MACHOMAN.COM is bringing wrestling to the worldwide web in a way that's never been done before. We are featuring current superstars, legends of wrestling, and superstars of the future who are getting their big break right here. We are passing the torch but at the same time we're dropping the hotness on you." ...Sounds painful. Thought this was rather interesting. A new poem by the Genius. A TRIBUTE TO CURT HENNING Composed by Lanny Poffo We remember Mr. Perfect He was always in command His greatness was so obvious That all could understand He brightened up a locker room He made the time go by He had a personality Gregarious, not shy He really was perfection But now he's gone away We're lucky to have known him And we'll miss him every day

Well that blows. And it's cheating! Knowing this, they could add Bradshaw / Trish vs. Nowinski / Gayda to a Raw DVD and cut it down so that it looks like a MOTY candidate. Chalk it up to the WWE revising history...again.

I fucking hate those little rating stars. The world would be better off without them.

The hot blonde snaggletooth from Alaska?

When I think routing issues, I think the show is too far out of the way from the show before and the show after this stop.

I believe it was 6: Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Warlord, Barbarian, Shawn Michaels, and Dynamite Kid. I'm not aware of a feud with the Barbarian. Replace him with Demolition Smash (Repo Man) and that takes care of that question.

1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9 are correct. I'd personally go with Ahmed for 9 but Jake the Snake would have worked too.
-
4 is correct. 5 is very close and it is partially true but there is just a little bit more to it than that. As far as the TV debut in Seattle, you don't have to look back TOO far. It wasn't yesterday but it was well after the company went national (and global).

1. What wrestler turned road agent made his WWF TV debut in Seattle? 2. Who did Ahmed Johnson squash in a non-title match the day after winning the IC title? 3. Looking past his match with Mr. Perfect at the 1993 KOTR, Mr. Hughes sent a message to his potential semi-final opponent Bret Hart. How did he do this? 4. Who interfered in the final bout of the Rick Rude / Dustin Rhodes Best 2 of 3 series for the vacant U.S. title? 5. Why did the Hollywood Blondes endorse the Nasty Boys in their upcoming match with the Horsemen for the tag titles at Fall Brawl 93?

Let's try a little WWF Davey Boy Smith trivia... 1. The first singles title the Bulldog competed for was then held by this man. 2. Who did Davey briefly feud with just prior to gaining the IC title shot with Bret at Summer Slam? 3. Who did Davey last defend the IC title against before losing it to HBK? Clue: This match was televised the SAME DAY as the final SNME. 4. In October 95 on Raw, Davey pinned then-world champ Diesel in a 6-man tag. What led to the pinfall on Diesel? 5. The Bulldog made a good showing in the 1991 Royal Rumble where he went on to eliminate this wrestler, who broke records for time in the match. 6. During the post-WrestleMania VIII tour of the UK, Davey pulled off a major upset in the indoor Wembley Arena by defeating this wrestling legend. 7. Following their break up in 1990, the Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy have rarely worked together. However, Dynamite did appear in Davey's corner during a match with this man during the post WrestleMania VII tour of England. 8. Who was in Davey's corner for a match with Earthquake, held in Barcelona, during the fall of 1991? This bout was included on CHV's World Tour 1992 video. 9. Who did Davey feud with prior to his rivalry with Shawn Michaels in 1996? 10. How many wrestlers in the 10-team Survivor Series 88 match has Davey had singles rivalries with? Name them.

Hmmm ... they were all expected by many to become the new champion? I know Dibiase and Luger were rumored to originally win their matches, I doubt the same holds true for Bundy.
-
lol None that I'm aware of.

Here's a little Firefly-related spoiler for that OTHER Joss show that begins with a "B", ends with a "Y", and has an "uff" in the middle. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The guy that played the lead role in Firefly will end up on Buffy to finish out the series as a priest (I believe) that sympathizes with the First.

let's see ... what do they have in common ... all three lost world title matches at WrestleMania and went on to form tag teams afterwards ... all three have defeated Hogan somehow or another during their career ... ?
