    Memories of first live event

There had to be more to it than that. They usually taped a good 3-4 weeks worth in one night.

The answer to #5 was Bret vs. Bam Bam Bigelow ... this was January 93, shortly after the Rumble.
  4. Well when does Saddam get the belt?

    Wrestling's Life Lessons

Made famous by the Macho Man Randy Savage School of Pro Wrestling Me as an 11 year old watching old WWF videos "Why does Savage have to stomp the mat every time he throws a jab? I don't get it..."

    Wrestling's Life Lessons

If your name is Hulk Hogan or Sting, be prepared to have all your friends betray you at some point.

    Wrestlers

Neidhart played for the Raiders. During one of the WWF 'Real Athlete' commercial segments in 97, Ahmed said he played for some team but I don't recall which.

The WWF did a double spot in Manchester back in 91. Might it have been one of these shows? I checked and although I do have results from Madison and Milwaukee in that timeframe, nothing from LaCrosse.

    Memories of first live event

I believe they showed clips of that show during the syndies since it was the last card at the Garden. TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

It was Dusty Rhodes. Toward the later part of 1990, Virgil once beat Rhodes in 30 seconds flat after interference from Dibiase. This was weeks prior to Rhodes' departure back to WCW.
  13. That was pretty convincing. Maybe I should warn my local Super Wal-Mart that they might be attacked too. C'mon, people. We can sit here all day and debate over whether or not the WWE is a target. EVERYTHING is a potential target, sure. Doesn't mean it's a likely one.

    TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

1 is correct. Razor jumped Owen in his dressing room while Pettingzoo attempted to conduct an interview with the Shadow ... or Rocket. 3 is also correct. Bret fought Savage in May of 94, beating him with the Sharpshooter.
  16. It would only be funny if we got the countless Saddam body doubles. Austin is pacing back in forth in the parking lot ... a limo drives up ... Saddam walks out ... Austin hits him over the head with a tire iron ... but it's not even the real Saddam.

    TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

I'm not completely stupid, I just realize now that I can't read. I read "wrestling streak" as "winning streak".
  18. I think it's wise of the WWE to be aware of the situation or what COULD happen; to do otherwise would be ignorant. But let's be serious here. Do you guys really think Saddam, Osama, and / or Kim Jong-il is on the other side of the world right now planning to blow the WWE to pieces? *ring ring* Kim Jong-il: Hello? Saddam: Kim! It's Saddam, man, how are you? Kim Jong-il: Saddam! What's up, mofo? I hear you've got yourself in a little trouble over there. Saddam: Ah, yes (Saddam talks like Triumph from Conan O'Brien). Listen, man, me and Osama came up with a little plan. Kim Jong-il: Let's hear it. Saddam: Okay, well you know WrestleMania is right around the corner, right? Kim Jong-il: Yep, I've already placed an order with my local communist cable company. Saddam: Well me and Osama think you should nuke Seattle on the 30th. Kim Jong-il: What? Nuke Seattle? But Kim Jong-il wants to see Booker T beat Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title. Saddam: ...Are you serious? Triple H is never going to job to Booker T. Booker T is nothing but a dancer and an entertainer. C'mon, man, help us out here. You would really be taking the heat off me and Osama. Kim Jong-il: Well...I had been looking forward to Austin / Rock III...but you're right...it's too good. Screw the World Series, Super Bowl, Grammys, Emmys, and Blockbuster Awards ... we've got to destroy the WWE!

    TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

Maybe someone will answer my questions this time around lol 1. Who was attacked on the premier episode of WWF Mania? 2. Who scored a few victories over Tatanka in untelevised bouts during his "undefeated streak"? 3. What fellow face and former world champion once challenged Bret Hart for the title during a tour of Japan? 4. Virgil scored the biggest victory of his career before he even became a full time WWF in-ring wrestler. What former world champion did he defeat while once subbing for Ted Dibiase? 5. What was the main event of the MSG Headlock on Hunger event in which the WWF donated funds to the relief work in Somalia?

Where do you go rent movies?

There is a Hollywood Video and Video Update nearby but Blockbuster always has the best selection when it comes to pre-2002 movies.

    TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

Now that I think about it ... weren't Capt. Lou Albano and Freddie Blassie part of the triangle of terror too? Albano took Ivan Koloff to the world belt and Blassie took the Iron Sheik. Steamboat (3), Hogan (3), Bossman (4), Undertaker (4), Earthquake (3), Razor (3), Owen (3), Edge (3), Kane (3) I have Taker with 5 (95-99) Bossman with 4 (89-92) and Steamboat, Hogan, Earthquake, Razor, Owen, Edge, and Kane tied with 3.

    TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

    1. The Grand Wizard (Superstar Billy Graham) 2. The Road Warriors and ... I don't know if the Dudleyz would count since although they won the WCW tag straps, WCW was no longer a promotion at the time 3. Demolition 4. The Undertaker 5. Austin with 4?

    TRIVIA's WWF TRIVIA

    1. Hercules / Billy Jack Haynes at 3 ... arguably you could add Bulldog / Warlord at 7 to that 3. Al Snow? 4. Savage 5. Farooq; the last being Ron Simmons 7. Paul Orndorff; the Big Event wasn't a PPV - just a major house show put on home video 8. Hakushi 9. he was scheduled to be in the 10-man tag at WrestleMania X but instead his WrestleMania debut was WrestleMania XV and the hardcore title match 10. I want to say either Saito or Hashimoto ... not sure
  24. That blows. On one hand, it's good for Maguire in that it would be very hard to top the first film so if the movie doesn't live up to expectations - he won't be effected by it. On the other hand, it's bad for me because every Batman after Michael Keaton blew... Bond is different because the franchise has been around for nearly 40 years and the movies have maintained their popularity despite the different lead actors. Name another film franchise where that has been the case.
