Luger fought the fake Taker at a TV taping in 94; never the real one that I'm aware of.

I know they had a tag match in Sid's last WCW TV appearance in October 93 (taped before the scissors incident but shown the weekend after the 11/10 Clash of the Champions). It was Flair / Sid vs. Austin / Vader. The match never really started as Sid was jumped by the Collossal Kongs and triple teamed by them and Vader on the floor (kayfabe credited as the attack that put Sid out of WCW).

The only thing more sad is Goldberg's book. Have a long career, retire, THEN write a book.

I wouldn't mind a heel Brock vs. face Benoit because I really think that would elevate Benoit's face status and establish him as a main event player. But whatever they do, I'm not going to be overly critical - kinda curious as to how this will play out long-term.

I believe most stores carried the R-rated version, thus keeping all the language in place. They edited all that out when it was initially shown on A&E (although following the first airing, I saw it run uncnesored a few months later).

That match was in Miami a day or so after the 90 Rumble.

I think they had a few 4-way matches when Goldberg was a heel and Jarrett was either world champ or top contender. Not sure about one-on-ones.

They weren't all filled at that point. I think guys like Duggan and Mr. Hughes had yet to get a slot; not sure what match was made in light of the double count-out. Michaels was the ex-champ at the time of the qualifyer contest. Then a one-on-one match was made cause Crush was so pissed about not being in the tournament. 6 days before the PPV, HBK regained the title and was quite pissed about being forced to defend it at the KOTR.

A lot of those TV taping results I got from reports on RSPW from people that were there. With the average TV taping lasting a good 4-5 hours and having most of those matches be squashes (or re-done squashes if an intro was fucked up), not every match was mentioned in their report - sometimes only the major / dark matches. I'd put my money on the Razor / Backlund match not being aired.

I have always stated that people don't get up in arms about the Roman Empire destroying/conquering various cultures since they were doing it to fellow white people (with some exceptions of course). *bump* I was watching a SNL rerun the other day and they aired the commercial for action figures for the film Philadelphia (fully equipped with backpack missiles, etc). I'd like to see some action figures made out of this situation. Let's have good guys like Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld, and Tony Blair (with an exclusive send-away Condi Rice) and bad guys like Saddam, Osama, Kim Jong-il, and Jacques Chirac (with a send-away Janeane Groffalo). They can have playsets (White House, Evil Cave) and vehicles (Bush Mobile, camel). Maybe even Battle Armor versions. There's money in this! Discuss...

Sadly, I don't have 1 single card from Louisville in 1990. I think your best bet is to check eBay for back issues of PWI - both the monthlies and weeklies (and then of couse pass along the info to me and I'll be happy to credit you lol).

Season 7 is actually one of the best they've had thus far. It does slow down to some effect - just to establish what really is going on and what Buffy and the Scoobies are facing - but it doesn't take away from the quality of the season.
