I voted 'unsure'. Now I'll be upfront when I say that Goldberg abused his power in WCW. He's responsible for ending the career of my favorite wrestler of all time Bret Hart. He was handed the world undeservingly. With all that aside...he can benefit the WWE. I'm not saying put a world title on him. I'm not saying make him be the main event at WrestleMania. But if he can come in (preferably as a heel or at least turn him heel soon) and put over guys like Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Edge, or even Rey Mysterio Jr. - then I'm all for it. I thought the best thing WCW ever did with Goldberg was turn him heel in 2000. He'll never be the underdog so at least make the fans cheer for his opponents who will be. The Nitro where Booker and Goldberg fought twice for the world title and Booker won the second via pinfall has to be one of the best episodes from the crap Russo era.

I have to agree that Rock's pressence on Raw has made it much better over the past 2 weeks, especially last night. The entire Rock / Hurricane segment was gold - and Rock telling the audience to shut up from the dressing room was super gold gold.

I just downloaded this bout the other day (didn't see the PPV). Kane needs to learn how to do a body slam. YOU DON'T DROP THE GUY ON HIS HEAD! Regal was all fucked up for the rest of the match.

True story, I don't believe it's the correct match. I think it was their June 97 non-title bout on Raw.

That's an arbitrary question of personal morals, has nothing to do with whether or not AA should continue, if it's justified, or if it's even protected under the Constitution (which it's not). Asking that is like asking "If you found $100, would you keep it or turn it into the police?"

That's actually my middle name.

Of course we can. The moment they prepare to use whatever nuclear devices they have, we turn them into a 5x5 pool of oil. The only reason he's pulling this power play is to get resources from the U.S. How much is he going to get if he lays Japan to waste?

He's quitting because he believes the current administration's policy is not only wrong, but hurting American interests. He does not wish to hurt America's interests, and thus is quitting. I have no doubt that's his perspective. It's just ... well ... wrong. I would think that American safety is a bit more important than whether or not we piss off the useless UN or anti-American countries like France or Germany.

Find it interesting that it ended up in the Times' hands. They're pretty anti-Bush to begin with.

Please don't bring Lott into this. He was a media scapegoat and took the fall for something he never even said. I don't remember the part of his speech where he said "And now I'm going to talk about how I hate black people." He was at a Strom Thurmond Kiss Ass Party and he kissed his ass...just worded it wrong. If he was racist, I think it would have been obvious before now. I'm leaning towards the belief that businesses and corporations worth a damn don't hire / fire based on their ability to pronounce someone's name. If that were the case, our economy would be in a lot wose trouble than it is. Whites can have hard-to-pronounce names as well, so that argument doesn't stand well on its own. I'm not assuming anything when I say that it doesn't make things level. It's discrimination that's protected by law. It causes resentment and only helps to reinforce whatever racial prejudices were already there. And how did Bush benefit from AA?

Too old school. I want some entertainment in public executions. Let's draw it out a little ... maybe get in some commercials from Pepsi, Ford, and Nike.

No one likes a quitter. Watch out, big bad Bush will get you with his imperialistic ideals. Here comes LBJ 2. (heavy on the sarcasm)
-
Let's start with New Zealand (pseudo-Australia). Not sure why...probably has to do with the Bushwhackers being from there. Then...Oklahoma. It's too flat, gives me the creeps.

And as we all know, if it weren't for retards with balls then 'Fear Factor' would never have contestants.

Too much wasted federal money. I propose death by paper cuts. Those things fucking hurt.

Well, we could always eat undeveloped human fetuses. Mmmmmm ... dead baby fetus ... *drools*

I was under the impression some Americans were in that group as well, might be wrong. What's the first word that comes to mind when I think of these people? Morons. But that doesn't do them justice - they're much more dumb than the typical moron.

More than everyone else combined, I would assume. I know we got rid of a few due to an agreement with Russia. The only difference between us and North Korea, the terrorists, etc is that we use our nukes as a form of self-defense and a way to establish peace. We wouldn't use that kind of weaponry in a preemptive fashion.

<--- Journalism major I did a similar piece in 2000 for my Intro to Journalistic Writing class (later published in the university paper). It was a broad, easy for non-fans to understand, description of the heights of pro wrestling popularity and how that battle for ratings directly or indirectly led to injuries and deaths (Owen for one). Is it on the necro angle itself or the state of the WWE in general which led to that storyline? As far as that angle, I think it's a good portrayal of how desperate the WWE is in its current state to bring in viewers. It's shock value, plain and simple. The company has been heading downhill arguably since WrestleMania X-7 - with smaller PPV buyrates, house show gates, and television ratings. Stunts and storylines like this are done in hopes of boosting ratings but they rarely if ever have a long-term effect. The only way to turn the product around is to create genuine interest with the fans, not to shock them.

I already pre-ordered Season 4 from Amazon. It was only $35 with free shipping...but I won't get it for a week after it's release date.

Let's work on our brevity.

"The North's official Rodong Sinmun newspaper accused the Central Intelligence Agency of preparing a surprise attack on the nation's nuclear facilities that are suspected of being used to make atomic bombs." Mmhmm, and we all know how reliable those communist newspapers are. It's not like they act merely as a voice box for the government. North Korea is the child whose parents didn't love him so he's acting out to get attention. The entire involvement of the CIA could very well be fabricated as an excuse for North Korea to get more attention by jumping up and down. And I love how America is portrayed as the one being at fault, even though it's North Korea that broke the pact.

Hmm, how about doing away with the issue of race on college and job applications altogether?

Lieberman gives me the creeps. I swear he looks exactly like the Emperor from Star Wars ... and I think if he becomes president, he might do away with Christmas.
