Nice review. The end of Season 1 is basically all I've seen save the last 5 or so eps from this season and scattered others. "Eps 7: Angel turns human, fucks buffy, turns vamp because he is too weak as a human - doesnt remember the encounter. The first real dialogue between Angel and the Powers that be." Actually, he's the only one that does remember that day. It was the price he had to pay in order to become Vamp Angel again.

There's a big difference between disagreeing with someone and blasting them. And no, I'm not basing my decision on one incident. Read my entire post.

Well when panel discussions are held and someone is consistantly pro-Daschle, pro-Kerry, pro-Gore, pro-taxes, pro-big government, and pro-welfare ... I'd say they support the Democratic party. Questions, comments?
-
He does do a good job, I agree. Pay attention to the panel discussions he has on his show. A few months ago, Tom Daschle was in the DC studio and sat in with Brit and Tony Snow. It was basically Tony interviewing Brit and Daschle as they agreed on just about everything.

You asked me to list liberals that Fox employs. I did. If you don't want to buy into that, okay don't. Say they aren't really liberals, whatever. Personally, if they strongly endorse the Democratic party and work for NPR - I'd call them liberals. Maybe that's just me.

He wore the mask after a major beat down at the hands of King Mabel (in which both Shawn Michaels and Diesel were equally beat down by Shane Douglas, the Bulldog, Owen, and Yoko). Mabel broke Taker's eye socket and he took about 6 weeks off to recover. Then he came back with the mask on. The commentators kept saying Mabel had smashed the Undertaker's face into pieces - so it worked out. Taker wore it for about 2 months until Bret Hart broke it off during their match at the 96 Rumble.

I don't recall mentioning me at all. The conversation was on the validity of Fox being moderate. I've shown that. At least I assume I have since you haven't come up with any other arguments for me to shoot down.

I'm perfectly aware of Sean Hannity's political stand. I bought his book. The fact that you included him as a liberal knowing full well what he was as simply a trick for me to fall into since I didn't spend much time reading your response was cute. They teach you that in socialist school? Okay, so I proved that Fox employes plenty of liberals. Any other brain busters for me?

I never mentioned his name. Although Colmes would be a better pick.

In addition to Brit Hume, Geraldo Rivera, Mara Liasson, Mort Kondracke, and Juan Williams. And those are just the obvious ones.
-
Who the fuck do I think I am? Wow, what language. Well for one, they employ plenty of liberals and each and every political story involves a dual interview with a member of each side of the fence.

Pillman Gun Incident = gold. Like hell Mae Young giving birth to a hand deserved that award at Raw X. Pillman had that won.
-
Eagan, you're my hero.
-
I absolutely LOVED Cornette's shoot on Phil Mushnick after Pillman died. That was intense. I haven't seen it since it aired in October 97, but it was more emotional than almost anything I've seen in the WWE since then.

I keep checking to see if anyone has already capped the video from Smackdown! and put it on Kazza or WinMX. Nothing yet...

Typical gatekeeping. Only letting in the information you want and leaving the rest out. Gotta love the Communist News Network.
-
That's garbage. If anything, they add their own spin on the story. Take for instance the rumor of a military draft. This had to have been covered on every news channel out there - aside from Fox News. Know why? Because there is no military draft and there are no plans for one to be made. I'm the only peson at my entire university that isn't somewhat uneasy about the draft - basically because I know there isn't one. There is a reason why the military likes Fox News. Sure, I'll buy into the fact that Fox is a tad on the conservative side but they are a lot more moderate than any other channel out there. From watching Fox, I get the impression it's not that they are right or left - it's that they are pro-America and don't put up with the flawed anti-American rhetoric that is often presented by the liberals, communists, socialists, etc that are so often featured on CNN and the other channels.
-
Mmhmm, it's true that he has his own personal spin. I don't see how someone could not. And I don't like him because of his debate skills. I like him because he doesn't play favorites and he holds people accountable for their actions (in a society where they often are not). And for the most part I agree with his politics.

I'm in Bob's position. I love Hennig and I love O'Reilly (have several copies of his books autographed). Wathing this segment will be like my parents fighting "STOP YELLING! BE NICE!" It's true that he did mention wrestling as being among the worst things on TV today. I disagree with him. However, wrestling is right up there with Jerry Springer or any reality TV show in that it's far from high brow entertainment. I do agree that pro wrestling has stereotyped itself as a redneck sport where the referee is always blind and a steel chair is used in every match. If you aren't a wrestling fan, and a die-hard at that, you have no notion of Puro or Lucha or anything aside from what you'd see on Raw and Smackdown. There is a lot of crap in the wrestling industry that gives the good guys a bad name. But I won't be against getting on his case if he's out of line or disrespectful.

Sad to say but I know the words to FAR too many songs - especially the shit ones I hate with a passion (remember that 'How Bizarre' song from a few years back? 1997 was not a good year for pop music). Usually, as long as I keep the crap songs out of my head, it will be something 80s, Springsteen, U2, Tom Petty, Sarah Brightman, etc. Right now it happens to be 'Full of Grace' by Sarah McLachlan (featured in 'Becomming Part 2' for the fellow Buffy fans).

'Angel' - Sarah McLachlan Great for lazy rainy Friday afternoons

The day after Christmas, I picked up Pee Wee's Big Adventure and National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon in the "2 for $10" DVD bin.
