Stuff did an interview like this back in 2000 with the WCW girls at the time - Torrie, Stacy, the Asian Nitro girl, Kimberly, and maybe one or two others. Stacy sounded very inexperienced at the time. Kimberly mentioned her and DDP trying to get it on in an airplane bathroom until one of the flight attendants knocked on the door and asked them to take their seats. My thinking is that Batista squashes and embarrasses Triple H tonight. Everyone talks about it being a complete fluke, etc. Triple H becomes enraged and demands a rematch. It's set for Backlash. They go much longer, maybe 20 minutes, to establish and cement Batista as a world title guy.

I just checked and it looks like those matches aired on PTW on 6/10/91 but they were taped all over the place. Slaughter / Valentine and Power & Glory / Express were from Tucson, AZ. Snuka / Bradley was from MSG. Duggan / Warlord WAS from Green Bay but I'm not certain if it aired that day if at all.

Those all aired on Prime Time Wrestling but I don't think they were all taped in Green Bay and I'm not even sure if they aired the same day. Out of curiosity, where did you find that?

WrestleMania XX fell on the first Sunday of my Spring Break last year so I went up the day before and stayed until Thursday. Drove to DC (home away from college) then took the train from Union Station to Penn Station (which is connected to MSG). I'm thinking about going to 22. Never been to Chicago. Only problem is that since I graduate in May, I have no idea where I'll be or what I'll be doing in a year's time.

While it's true that the WWF had a stellar tag team division at the time, I think it's fair to say the NWA still had them beat in terms of numbers and - arguably - quality. The Nasties were in the WWF until about June, but I believe they were suspended toward the end so that's why few people remember them post March or April. They showed up in WCW during the late summer of 93 and immediately were put in line for a title shot against Anderson & Roma. At Fall Brawl, they came out with Missy Hyatt as their surprise. Missy had been turned down for interviews repeatedly by Flair and the Horsemen and this was her way to get back at them, I suppose. Taylor returned to WCW in late 93 and was supposed to wrestle the Equalizer at Starrcade but that bout was regulated to being the dark match. He feuded with Diamond Dallas Page in early 94 as well.

I don't think he was in any shape to take a bump over the top at that time.

I don't think anyone could tell Gorilla what he could and could not do.
