The air date or taping date? IIRC, that was on 'WWF Superstars' which would have meant it was taped either 9/30/91 in Wheeling, WV (those tapings went until 11/2) or 10/21 in Ft. Wayne, IN (with tapings aired through 11/23).

WWE.com knows nothing. Try the arena's website - that's where I find most of the house show previews from around the country.

So we're not talking the 1995 KOTR Qualifying Match? I thought the post-match was awesome. The bout itself was ok, I haven't seen it since it aired so I can't elaborate much.

I think the last time Shawn hit the Rocker Dropper was 1991.

From 86 to 88, they actually ran house shows at the Silverdome, with large areas blocked off. Think they did around 30,000.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but Charlotte, NC will be hosting a Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Convention at the end of this month. As college is only a few hours away, I'm very much considering going to at least one of the days (probably Saturday). Tickets are $28 for one day, $38 for two. VIP tickets (for both days) are $100 (and probably worth it from what I've read). From Mid-Atlantic Legends.com: The Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Convention & Fanfest Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2004 This event will be like no other. Old-school wrestling fans have longed for the opportunity to meet, chat with and get autographs from the legendary performers from their childhood. The two-day Fanfest takes place at the Hilton University Place Hotel on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1 and will feature autograph signings with each of the wrestling legends. The convention hall will echo with the sights and sounds of the good ol' days. Many interactive events have been planned. Fans will watch, as the legendary TV voices of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling, Bob Caudle and David Crockett, interview many of these great performers once again, at ringside no less. (Yes, there will even be one of the old-time NWA wrestling rings in the middle of the convention hall.) For fans and enthusiasts, it will be a wonderful and special opportunity to celebrate a great era in wrestling history. The legendary voices of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, Bob Caudle, David Crockett, and Les Thatcher will interview each of the legends ringside at Fanfest! Saturday Fanfest Autograph Signings Include Magnum T.A., Masked Superstar, Ron Garvin, Greg Valentine, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, Dory Funk Jr., Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton, Jimmy Valiant, Sir Oliver Humperdink, Johnny Weaver, Buddy Landel, Bobby Fulton, Don & Rocky Kernodle, Tommy Young, Jim Nelson, George South, Gary Royal Sunday Fanfest Autograph Signings to Feature Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, The Rock-n-Roll Express, Tully Blanchard, J.J. Dillon, Jimmy Garvin, Ivan Koloff, Tony Atlas, Penny Banner, Tommy Angel, David Isley, Gene Ligon "Win Lunch with a Legend" contest, Bill Apter Hosts Mid-Atlantic Trivia, and door prizes every hour during Fanfest! Anyone else interested in going?

Interesting how Bret and Hennig were listed next to one another.
-
The Harts challenged the winners of the tag title match at WrestleMania - which immediately put them in the title picture once again (after a good 9 months or so). Shortly after the PPV, and with the Harts on their tail, Demolition introduced Crush (initially known as BA before making his TV debut) and used the third man advantage to win their matches, turning heel in the process.
-
Doink lost to Bret at Summer Slam and took crap from Lawler on a King's Court shortly following the PPV. That pretty much did it right there. Was throwing the water on Bobby Heenan the official face turn or was that just a lead in to it? That was just a lead in. He didn't turn face until Lawler bad mouthed him and the feud with Bam Bam began shortly thereafter.

Yep.

How long did they last in the WWF? I'm watching Survivor Series 97 and JR is REALLY working to get them over, especially Kurrgan (Interrogator). Summer 97 - Spring 98. Then, after a few months of being off TV, Kurrgan returned as a member of the Oddities.
-
Doink lost to Bret at Summer Slam and took crap from Lawler on a King's Court shortly following the PPV. That pretty much did it right there.

Check out the location. The weekend shows went through Oshawa, Halifax, and St. Johns - therefore Test, Christian, and Jericho would be working as default faces. Jericho has been working against Kane for the past few weeks on the house shows but from what I gathered the US crowd was pro Kane in those bouts. Reading the online promo for the Oshawa show on the arena's website, they referred to Test as being one of the major attractions as he was born in that town. Jindrak & Cade haven't been faces since November.
-
It's similar to the Olympic Slam in how it starts (arm hooks the leg) but otherwise is a simple back suplex.
