  1. Do you guys have to resort to gay stuff on the island?
  2. I really hated stuff like Undertaker trying to murder Steve Austin so he could embalm him during the Attitude era. Come on now. I figure if something was bad enough that I hated it in 1998, it must really have sucked.
  3. More like Gayer, amirite?
  4. I wasn't doing it with malice
  5. It's not blacked out anymore, it never should have been. It's general discussion because it's horse shit.
  6. Bill Hader's Malkovich was really good.
  7. Except for one round in 2007 where you said "he voted against me in the last round" (which I did, because at the time I had sigs on and Big Ahmed was causing problems).
  8. I think that's a question for the Comics thread, chief.
  9. I didn't offer you rice krispie treats, I'm just planning on voting KOAB. It helps that a glance at history shows you voted for me almost every round in previous tournaments.
  10. I've decided I want KOAB to win it all.
  11. I could use TSM to kill a guy, it doesn't make me Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn.
  12. TSM Poster of the Year Tournaments is a sport of kings. Lots of competition there. Maybe if I boarded harder I could have beaten Milky in the Elite 8.
  13. Agreed to a point, but I enjoy watching it and it airs on sports networks. Those English are a rowdy bunch and the announcers always get really excited to say ONE HUNDREEEED AND EIIIIIIGHHHTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
  14. Come on bob, I was kidding! I'm not a fan of college sports... or sports, really (hockey, baseball, and whenever darts from England is being aired - but even then it's a casual viewer and not someone googling stats daily) but I'll give basketball it's due for having a big ass tournament instead of a lame ass board of directors determining a champion (if that's not how college football really works, I apologize for my ignorance). Also, I think only 5% of Canadians care about this stuff, so, yeah.
  15. Admittedly, this made me laugh, but what's the point of publishing such vulgar and unconstructive PPV feedback?
  16. Re: bob's complaining. In the 6 year history of the POTY, it should be noted that the first two tournaments were held in the SAME CALENDAR YEAR - May and September 2003, neither of which are March. Also remember that Marvin beat Czech in round 1 of the first tourney as a footnote of how things can change in a short period of time. POTY III - May POTY IV - March POTY 2007 - March POTY 2008 - January So it's been held in May as many times as it's been held in March, and now that statement holds true for January. Here's another fun bit of trivia: College basketball sucks. Unless that's a votebreaker for me, than bring on the unpaid athletes doing something that takes funding away from academia! Woo!
  17. The HOF Lawler piece and accompanying matches could provide some good fun. I was happy that a show I've ever actually seen in full (KOTR 97) is being shown, but then I realized I have Austin vs. Shawn on DVD, making the whole excercise a bit pointless. Still, 3 PPVs instead of 2 (not counting the PYBO), that's cool of them. Wonder what house shows are going to fit the theme. I doubt they have the 1991 KOTR houseshow on tape... but if they did, that would be a nice surprise. Shorties could be fun too.
  18. I think (POTY) this needs to be re-advertised in a dedicated thread. It was by chance I even read this.
  19. "I smell a bit of gay around here" I thought for sure that would catch on to be TSMeme of 2008. It didn't.
  20. I watched the Real Ghostbusters episode "X-Mas Marks The Spot" yesterday. Good stuff.
  21. Your reference was Mr. Burns stomping a model town. Mine was Comic Book Guy gloating about Springfield being 299 on a list of 300. Totally different!
  22. At this rate, Sunflower will tell us the January schedule before WWE.com even previews it.
  23. You have to hold whatever button the PS3 controller uses as the strong grapple / alternate running attack button before you use the D-pad.
  24. It's very touching when Fred shares his Fruity Pebbles with Barney at the end. "Happy Holidays, pal" indeed.
