I tried watching AVP:R the other day. I fell asleep before anything interesting happened (there was some stuff happening in a sewer but it was too dark to know what) and even though I had it recorded, I just deleted it and considered the whole thing a wash. The Predators having a mysterious blue solvent to destroy any evidence of the Aliens or the bodies they used as vessels existing seemed like a continuity cop-out, but that's fine. I guess the real question is why an acid that can melt a human body away without a trace with a light sprinkle can be carried around in a test tube, but that's just one of those sci-fi things you don't question, right?

The OAO TSM "Happy Birthday, you!" Thread
DrVenkman PhD replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in No Holds Barred
If I don't hear people's opinions on current board jokes / feuds / whatever or television and movies, I have no idea they exist. -
I really do feel bad that this thread is supposed to be for EHME personal catharsis over what has now become two tragic occurrences yet lives on, doing it's own thing on a whole different subject.

The OAO TSM "Happy Birthday, you!" Thread

I didn't think any of those people were still around (nor do I even know who TheProdigy is) but I saw RRR's name pop-up as the last poster in something... let's a say a music thread. So, happy birthday! -
Charles (of Charles and Charge) had an annoying mother.

That was some retirement. Anyhow, I believe they charge the same dollar range. There SD! tapings on the 9th and 16th are $60, $40, $30 and $20. It's being taped with Raw in Toronto on the 22nd, then the 30th is a double taping with prices of $75, $50, $40, $35, and $25. However, the next double taping on the 13th is priced at $52, $37, $27 and $22. Maybe Omaha just charges less for tickets (and maybe Jersey just charges more). Just clicking around various Tuesday dates, it looks like they want to charge the $5-$15 more expensive tickets for the double tapings going forward, but perhaps some of these prices were set prior to their double taping plan. -

Well it won't show up until Armageddon on TV, and by then he might have two weeks worth of growth back. -

Notes from a house show last night: Ortiz now blows his nose in the rally towel before spinning it around. Edge got rid of the beard. -

I thought Bryan liked Punk? Speaking of Alvarez, Bix, and odd Board conspiracies, I dislike rovert more than any poster I've ever interacted with here, but I was happy to see him campaigning for any book that isn't Ring of Hell to win WON's BOTY. Go Gorgeous George! -
Edge denied it was him. I assumed it was just him being a heel with no further mystery about it, but that's a good scenario.

Heh, yeah. It was a funny sequence - Tugboat eliminates the favourite in Hogan, then the smallest guy in the ring (Shawn) eliminates Tugboat. Out of nowhere you see Hercules run to the ropes and propel himself over. You can BRIEFLY see Bossman in the area and I think the idea was he forcefully ejected Herc, but it's funnier just to view it as is. Just skimming through the Striker specials: "One of the reasons I loved WCW..." Vince really doesn't listen to this guy does he? I love it.

He's been keeping it real for years. Remember when he gave money out at the SkyDome Raw in 99? -

Plus it's not on the Mania 22 DVD so in the annals of history, it never happened anyway. -

In fairness, the last 32 matches or so she's had have sucked. I did enjoy her brief feud with Katie, but when her and Beth resumed feuding over the belt again, every spot they did seemed mistimed, and it certainly wasn't Beth's fault -
Vanhalen is dead inside these days anyway. He just floats around the board like an apparition, reminding us he exists and that he doesn't bump old threads anymore, but not really saying anything more than that.
-
I like you bob, but that's bullshit. Had you said "That's true I used to start a thread every single time a person was banned, but hey, it's how I got my fake title, so huzzah! I disagree with 95% of bannings, but 5% of the time I agree" it would have been a bit more accurate.

Totally random, but I was in one of my "use a free translator to make something French, then put it back into English" moods and this is the above post: "This is one of the things more stupid than I heard a little later. I know that it called Beating the Clock, but it was declared every time that the man that beats his opponent in the quantity more short of time is the conqueror. Since Jeff and the Trips secured for the time more quick, they have or the two obtains a blow or has the other every face to determine a true conqueror. Jeff should not be the conqueror just only because his game continued first. The reason that the presenters always say "if and if BEAT the clock" is because they do not want to telegraph a game no one. As that it astonishes when it arrives." Just random fun. Carry on.

Makes sense.
