WWE General Discussion-November 2008
DrVenkman PhD replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Hooray, after several e-mails about several things I had no interest in, I finally got an e-mail about Rumble pre-sale tickets from Joe Louis. Tomorrow morning! -
"Leeper said that the fully voiced cutscenes that drive the tales make up about two and half hours of the -- roughly -- 14 hours it'll take you to play through all six stories. Of course, that overall time estimate doesn't include the multiple paths and multiple endings."
-
. Yes, that's who I picked. I had also picked him previously .
-
It's in "Top 25" order as per WWE.com votes.

More Future Endeavours - Dykstra, Lena, Elijah

Thumbs up to reference. -
What happen? ICP and Scott Hall bum rushed the show. No incident that I know of, though. Unless there was a different clown show that I don't know about. Rhino was/is pissed that they showed up with TNA claiming they went into business for themselves while those in the know say it's Russo "doing his thing" to work people.

. I swear I looked there, but I'll check again. Thanks!

Did anyone notice the advert on the instructions for Legends of WrestleMania - "import characters from SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 to create dream match-ups"? Interesting. It also claims there is a trailer for the game (which I'm sure I've already watched online months ago) on SvR 09 but hell if I know where it is. http://www.cheatcc.com/xbox360/wwesmackdow...heatscodes.html is a pretty good unlockable resource. GameFAQs didn't list how to unlock the Locker Room brawl so this was handy. I also see that the reason I got nothing for beating Finlay faster than Santino was because I used a password for the Hornswoggle manager unlock already.

I've had no problem making people submit to the Walls of Jericho (you still pull the stick to wrench the hold, but others have the lock-pick deal from 08 to break the holds). Actually, I couldn't get Cena to submit - I thought maybe he has the "Resiliency" ability, but it turns out I just plain wasn't scripted to win the match.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

I'm glad you asked! In 2005, Undertaker threw a big fit because he was working with Cowboy Bob Orton - who forgot to mention he had hepatitis - and got some of his blood on him. Everything worked out, but ol Bob was sent home. -

Boogeyman is a prominent character in SvR 2009. Regarding Lena, a note from F4W: -
F4W Notes on the situation: (Yes, I'm violating my own rule about not doing a direct C&P from paysites, but really it was just easier for one paragraph).

Former American Gladiator Host Mike Adamle Joins WWE
DrVenkman PhD replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
"Mike Adamle appears to be done as a TV character at this point" is the exact wording of the situation from the latest F4W, so perhaps with his big contract they need to find a non-TV role for him. -
There really shouldn't even be a debate about this.

Impact spoilers for this Thursday
DrVenkman PhD replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Writing Christian off by saying "you're going to a better company" is the stupidest write-off for a character I've ever heard of which leads me to believe he actually is leaving. Any other company, I'd say it was red herring, but not this TV show. -
From the Impact spoilers: . This sort of thing makes you think he's staying in TNA, but you can't discount the fact Impact's booking makes 1999/2000 WCW seem like 2000 WWE.

That makes more sense. I thought you were calling Aero a potential liar. -

People don't lie about that sort of thing on TSM. We're all honest folks and only share the truthiness with one another. -
Yeah, I look forward to it every Monday. Tonight's episode had some nice character continuity to it as well (season 1 established Sheldon's burger of choice - which was a replacement for eating at Big Boy - as well as 'his seat' on the couch).

Hey now I know the rest of the order for the 24/7 special!

As soon as Santino said he was done with the Honk-A-Meter and did the crazy Honk-a-Perfect-Mountie Meter, you knew that was the end of the joke. I had no problem with that since the joke basically ended at Cyber Sunday. Regal made the win seem important too, so good stuff all around. Manu's spear sell was awesome.

Come to think of it, The Rock was the last WCW Champ. They started referring to it as the World Heavyweight Championship the night after Survivor Series. According to WWE.com's title history for the WCW title, Jericho is the final WCW Champ. Yes, please don't bring this up because doing so will make people think the World Heavyweight Championship from 2001 and the World Heavyweight Championship from 2002 are the same belt. That's a no win argument.

DrVenkman PhD replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
I had to say that I didn't believe that shit for a second... but sure enough... WWE.com has confirmed it. This is already the greatest WWE PPV of all time. Like WrestleMania III, In Your House 2 and Unforgiven '99 all rolled into one!
