I still don't like K-Fed, but I will say that the wrestling-persona, buzzcut K-Fed has grown on me a bit. BTW Franchise, I like the opening, but the song is probably my least favorite part of it. So I'm managing to fit in with both camps.

The guide arrived today. Really nice. Comes in a self-contained folder/flap closure. The art book is very nice with full color pictures of the main characters and smaller pictures of the ancillary characters, airships, and weapons. I'm somwhat distressed at Cid's appearance in this one though. He looks like he had a makeover by the Queer Eye guys and is now Metrotastic. At this point I'd kill (at least maim) for Square Enix to have a non-androgynous looking main character.

Apparently Best Buy's website was taking preorders. For about 10 minutes. Someone called and they said that it was legit and that all the orders (somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500) would be filled at launch. I was actually thinking about trying to preoder one from one of the online places, but I highly doubt it'll happen unless Amazon comes through.

IGN review 9.5/10 ETA: just saw a hacked demo of GH2 on YouTube. Man, some of the songs are insane. here's "Freebird" on Expert difficulty. It seems fairly simple until they hit the solo. Then it all goes to hell. Hammer-ons and pull-offs for everybody! Luckily for him he saved his star power or he wouldn't have made it halfway through the song. And this guy's pretty good too (look at his other videos for examples). Between this and some of the other tracks I've seen, this game definitely seems to up the challenge of the first one.

I would've. You don't make it you haven't really lost anything, since you're still only 2 scores down. You make it, you're only a TD and 2 down. As long as that last touchdown drive was, I'm not sure WV has enough time for 2 scoring drives if Louisville can run off some clock. A wise man once told me, "Don't chase the points." Anyways I wish WV would've won b/c I really enjoy watching them play plus a possible WV/Michigan matchup would've been interesting to watch considering WV's run O and Michigan's run D being the best in the country. Normally I would agree with that wise man, but the wise man said that before he watched WVU/Louisville. At that point in the game WVU was trying to get back in the game with a run-first and second style offense with time starting to become a factor. A successful attempt gets you theoretically within one score, while a PAT gets you basically nothing. I know it's not Madden or NCAA, but in that case I would have seriously thought long and hard about going for 2. The "wise man" i was referring to is one of ESPN's CFB color commentators. Problem is, I don't remember who it was. I know he said it a year or two ago during a game. But yeah, I would've gone for 2 in that situation. Ahh, sarcasm then. Gotchya.

Edit: OK, I've seen the video numerous times and I can't figure out how he does it. As far as I can tell all he does is cast Magnera and a huge Magnet spell captures a ton of the flyers, destroying them and raining down magic bubbles to refill his magic meter. I try it, and I get a small Magnet spell captures a few of the flyers, holds them until I cast Thundaga, and I get a few magic bubbles. I can only do this 4 times or so before I have to leave and wait for my magic meter to recharge. Is it because I'm only level 60 and he's 90? I don't know if your magic rating affects the size of the spell area or what. If it does I'll throw on the rings I've got on Donald. Still getting some good work on getting my Forms levelled (I've neglected them until now). Finally got the Final Form. Looks cool but I don't like it as much as the Master Form. I'll see how they compare when they're both at level 7.

Hey Andrew, you know a good spot to grind some levels? I'm in the last town and I'm going back to finish all the little crap I have to do before the finish to get 100% on Jiminy's journal. Unfortunately, one of the things I have to do is fight Sephiroth. Given that I'm only about level 52 or 3, I've got quite a while to go before I even get near him (I've heard 70 is baseline for him). Plus, I want to level up my Forms and get the Final Form (if I can figure out how to get it). So, I need somewhere I can get a steady stream of heartless or Nobodies to fight. Plus, I need to level up to get some skills for the subquests. I don't know how the hell you're supposed to do that stupid poster minigame/job in less that 30 seconds, but there has to be some skill later on that helps. Edit: BTW, what everyone's favorite Keyblade (just to hear opinions)? Difficulty level: no Fenrir or Ultima votes allowed. Personally, I'm currently using Sleeping Lion, but Rambling Rose might be my overall favorite. Just seeing Sora throwing finishing blow after finishing blow at a huge crowd is entertaining as hell.
