Looking at next week's promo, I got a weird idea. What if the Others are trying to turn Jack into one of them? Looking at next week, it seems like Ben is forcing Kate to admit she has feelings for Sawyer. What if Ben uses this to drive a wedge between Jack and the other 2? Make him feel isolated from the rest of his group, then Juliet becomes his own little personal touchstone to the world. They get closer, and then eventually Jack "appears" (could go either way, depending on what the writers want) to come around to Ben's way of thinking (whatever that may be). That could lead to a fairly awesome scene with Ben taking the 3 of them out and telling Kate and Sawyer to leave and go back to their camp. Kate tells Jack to come on, and Jack comes back with "There's nothing for me there anymore, I'm staying here." Just an idea.

Wow, and I thought Speedy Gonzalez and Slowpoke Rodriguez were, ummmm, "racially insensitive". Different times I guess.

I actually didn't like it as much as episode 2. However, I'm real afraid that they're going to go to the race card with the new QB. He and Smash will end up banding together to fight the oppresive whiteygarchy (epitomized by the drunk violent redneck Riggins). Hopefully, they'll just have Saracen freaking out for a week or two, then calm down when he realizes that he's the man. Make the new kid a WR or a safety or something. Berg took out a lot of the book's racial overtones for the movie, I doubt he'd go overboard on the TV show.

Yep, 3 button chords. All the kids are into it ya know. "Strutter"'s got a bunch of them in the chorus, and I know the STP song (I know it, but I don't feel like typing it out) has some in the opening. I imagine the production team's going to include them in all the songs if they can get away with it. Interesting note on "John the Fisherman" is that Les Claypool actually gave the Red Octane crew the master recording of the song to use. So, you're going to be playing off the actual guitar part and the singer is going to be Claypool, not the studio singer and guitarist. I still think I'm going to wait until it comes out on the 360. There's a ton of stuff I want to play (KH2, Bully, WH40K Dark Crusade, Mideval 2, FF XII, Gears of War, etc.) that can keep me busy until next year.

Go to Gamespot and check out gameplay video number 10. Dick Dale's "Misirlou" on hard difficulty. You're going to need both a strum bar and fingers of steel to 100% that one on expert.
