Parade of Finishers leads too..... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Crazy gains +20 overness for tonight's match.
-
Carlito is black. And that's supposed to stop the writers HOW? Wait, he's black? Huh?
-
This match is definitely a train wreck, but by God it's an enjoyable one. We need Shelton to randomly run out and hit some crazy move to the outside, then run off crying about how he wasn't in the match because he's black.

Hardy thought Crazy was Psychosis and was trying to score a fix. I always liked that Hypnosis. What...? Never mind I'd rather not know. This match really needs another ref to count pinfalls. Back in WCW, Bret Hart was talking about defending against anyone, and when Okerlund suggested someone, he said something along the lines of: Bret: You know who doesn't get his due around these parts? A guy by the name of Hypnosis. Gene: You mean PSYCHOSIS? Bret: Psychosis, Hypnosis, whatever. (paraphrased) OK, thought it was about me misspelling Psychosis. I can never remember if that's the right spelling or not. Hardy whiffs the railrun, and Crazy brings the "Oooh"s and "Aaah"s with the Moonsault. Fun.

Well niether Crazy or Hardy are winning because they need to have the crash landings outside to set up the one on one pin.

A springboard upside-down clothesline? That's cool.

Is this "Random 6 Man Tag Night" and no one told us? Edit: OK guess not. I do appreciate the fact that they're trying to establish an IC division though. Maybe.

WTF is all this shit?

KENNY is? Son of a bitch....

A 10 man Survivor Series match between the SS and the Highlanders, Eugene, Flair, and Piper. The comic implications would be mind boggling. The match would be hideous but it could quite possibly be hilarious to watch.

Ahhh Maria, such a marvelous few minutes. I've missed you.

SHELTON WITH THE RACE CARD! WOOOO!!!!!
-
HHH giving Cena the "You're such a placeholder champ" stare.
-
Cade and Murdoch with Total Elmination (Lazy Edition)? Oh good God not Cena and DX together in a 6 man!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
-
Edge playing heel in Canada. He's trying to turn the crowd, God bless him. "Asshole" chant. Good work Adam.
-
Cena shoulda just channelled Stone Cold (at least, as close as he can get) when he was in Canada and feuding Bret and come out and talked about how he didn't care how they felt, etc. etc. If they're going to treat you like a heel, go ahead and act like it for a night or two.

The arguments between the Bard and the narrator are gold. X-2 irritated the shit out of me, to be honest. I loved X and REALLY tried to like X-2, but I just couldn't finish it. I think I got about 2/3rds of the way through and I just can't bring myself to go back to it. Maybe after I finish .hack. I doubt it though. Payne's good, but Auron kicked ass in X. Wanted to get Kingdom Hearts 2 just to see Auron's character again.

Well, I downloaded a couple of others animes and checked them out. Please Twins! (sequel to Please Teacher!) is nowhere near as good as the original. No compelling characters, and only a passing nod to the original with Ichigo (who's gone from funnily sarcastic to being a snooping bitch) and Mizuho (who's even more of a lamebrain then in the the first series) showing up in every episode and others making cameo appearances throughout the series. Kamashiro (the male lead) is actually a litte bit interesting in that he tries to balance school, a full time job as a computer programmer, and living on his own all at the same time. Miina is loud and walks the thin line between "confident" and "obnoxious" and doesn't always ends up on the pleasant side. Karen (to reference Love Hina, still one of my favorites) acts like Shinobu and sounds like Mutsumi (at least she does in the English dub). She's so quiet she almost disappears. The artwork and animation is still very good, but the characters are fairly boring and and the plot moves at a crawl. Quite a bit of fan service (including several frontal shots of Miina and Karan) but they're built like 12 year olds so it's more of an "Ehhhh, why?" reaction than anything else. I also (on a recommendation) watched Hand Maid May. I think I can sum it up with the phrase "relentlessly cute". Everyone's cute, the situations are cute, and the artwork is "cute". Fan service is limited to a LOT of upskirt shots and quite a bit of jiggling. Things get a bit weird in the last couple of episode with some time-travelling guest characters and a problem that throws all the way back to the beginning of the series. May is nice, sweet, and innocent without being annoying and the "hero" of this (eventual) harem piece, Kazuya, is a pleasant sort who seems slightly befuddled by all the attention (reminds me of a less clumsy, slightly more confident and intelligent Keitarou from "Love Hina"). Even the third part of the love triangle, Kazuya's longtime friend Kasumi (the source of most of the fan service shots) is a tomboyish sort who likes May and engages in a friendly competition with her for Kazuya's attention. Finally, the foil to our hero, Nanbara, is a funnily idiotic comic relief who ends up (somehow) on everyone's good side by the end of the 11 part (10 episodes and an OAV) series. Artwork is good and animation is very well done (static shots and other such money savers are at a minimum). Special mention to the opening credits and song which are, or course, cute. To complete my "robot girl" phase I'm downloading Chobits. Thoughts to follow if anyone wants. Or even if no one wants, since I don't have much else to do at the moment.

The local sports talk guys think is Mizzou's potential breakout year... I'm not holding my breath on that one It seems like Mizzou's "breakout year" is supposed to happen every 3 or 4 years. Or during Brad Smith's entire career there.

The ending of that A&M/Army game gave me heartburn.
-
Yeah, "Bark at the Moon" and "Texas Flood" look like motherfuckers to play. Check out a video of "Trippolette" on Expert difficulty. THAT looks pretty much impossible.
-
I must say I've been very disappointed in A&M's defense thus far. Sure they've played directional schools so far this season but they've looked decent. Army's converting 3rd downs at an alarming rate and the offense, apart from McGhee's option running and Javorskie "Whopper with Cheese please" Lane, hasn't looked much better. Ugly game so far. They'd better come out ready to play in the 2nd half.

Just got around to reading the thread because I wanted to see Dama's aneurysm over the last 2 minutes of the OU/OU game and saw this. I'm fairly convinced A&M can handle Army tonight during their Non-Conference Patsy 2006 Tour. Edited to add: I was pulling for Oregon (lived in Oregon as a kid, went to Oregon football games) but those two review calls were total bullshit. I saw the pass being tipped when the play was going on and they can't see it on replay? Rediculous. And the onsides kick call was almsot as bad. And, what's with the billet shoulders on the Oregon jerseys? Did they have to go to an aftermarket parts store for those, or are those stock from the factory?
