That look he gave everyone as the door was closing made me think he was an Other. When none of the other people were looking at him it seemed like he suddenly turned a switch and forgot about the ass beating Sayid gave him. Given that the Others are the "masters of the island" and masters of stealth and whatnot (thereby making it very suspicious that Rousseau would manage to catch one by herself with a simple net), I'm of the opinion that he's a spy sent to keep an eye on the Losties under the guise of being another lost traveller. However, Sayid and Locke's cautiousness threw that out the window unless he can convince everyone else he's innocent and get public opinion on his side.

Yeah I've got an account with newegg but these local places are a bit cheaper and I don't have to ship them (they're both fairly near my house). All in all I'm probably just going to wait for a couple of months while I pay off a couple of other outstanding bills (damn you Best Buy credit card, damn you to hell!) and maybe get a small price drop.

So, I'm looking to upgrade my ancient system (almost 3 years old the horror!) and I'm going to spoil myself and go with a gaming rig and figured I'd get some opinions. I've wondered about the merits of dual processors vs. a single processor. Most companies seem to be pushing the dual processor as the next big thing, but I can usually get a single processor a step or two faster for the same price. Seeing as how I rarely run more than one high end process at a time, I figure the single processor is the way to go, but I'm willing to listen to other ideas. Also re: processors, what's the difference between Athlon and Pentium? I'm leaning towards Pentium just on name recognition, but a couple of friends who seem to be well versed in computers prefer the Athlon processors. Finally, I've got a $3k line of credit from Alienware and $1500 from Dell. I could build a really nice rig from Dell for about $1900-2000 vs. $2700 from Alienware. So, I'd have to shell out about $400-500 up front for the Dell system as opposed to putting it all on credit from Alienware. All payment options being equal, is Alienware worth the extra money, or is it just "flash" and not worth it? I figure this system will keep me ahead of the curve for a while: 3.0-3.4 GHz 160 GB HD 2 gigs memory Either a Radeon 1800 or a GeForce 7800 (256 megs) Creative Labs 7.1 sound. Again, any opinions/advice will be heard and appreciated.

Yeah I'm finding that out. I actually found a wholesaler here in town that seems to have damn good prices on components. If I can talk them into building the system and making some sort of financing arrangement I'll probably get it though them.

The new "evil' opening to the Mirror episodes were awesome. Should have saved those eps on my DVR. That's all I have to contribute. Thank you move along.

OK I just saw what might have been the single greatest skit in WWE/F history. Forget "This is the Rock's life", forget Rock and Austin singing "Margaritaville", forget the Beer Bath. Kennedy tickling midgets and Burchill storming through the set just to say "Hello" to Palmer and Ken has got to be one of the more bizarre TV moments in recent history at least. It was almost Fellini-esque. And to whoever said it, if the Boogeyman had shown up, Chuck Norris might have had to roundhouse kick the skit before it's awesomeness imploded the universe. And then, to top it all off, Finlay fucks the midgets' shit up with what appeared to be a shillelagh. My brain can barely comprehend how great all that crap ended up being.

I like most of the Winter sports. Apart from hockey, they're not something I get to see very often so I appreciate the uniqueness of short track, luging, skeleton, and even the more esoteric events like curling and the biathalon.

From what I've read the first level/tutorial is the shootout at the mansion. So, the game takes the "What if Tony survived?" route where he goes out and finds those who betrayed him and kills them in various violent ways. Hopefully they include the chainsaw.

Yeah, I guess "building a system" is somewhat of a misnomer in this case. I didn't mean to indicate that I was going to be choosing components and putting them together myself (I'd probably end up needing a fire truck to put out the results) but more along the lines of choosing the specs of my system. I'm pretty much just a gamer/internet/word processing computer user (in that order) so I'm not big on Macs.

Lana's been getting on my nerves since about the end of season 2. The whole "possessed by a witch" storyline drove me nuts because it seemed like the show became about her, not Clark, Lex, and everyone else. As to last night, it was OK. Good to see Chloe not relegated to the "smark voice" on the show for once. Lame ending though. Strange how everyone seems to dislike Lex, yet they turn to him whenever something goes wrong. If I were him, I would've become a miserable bastard too.

Yup Schnieder was still in the credits this week. I'm guessing as long as they use him in flashbacks (which they did this week) they'll have him in the credits.
