I was wondering that myself. It was funny as hell but I thought it was just some random Seth non sequitor. Any background info is appreciated.

Yeah, Cinci/Indy is shaping up to be a defensive struggle.

God bless you and your family for linking those pics, skullman. And she was also pretty cute in Grind. Dumb but entertaining movie.

I actually found out that the Best Buy and Target in my area wasn't doing the whole midnight sale thing for the 360. I thought that the first of the next gen consoles would be deserving of a midnight sale, but I guess they figured that the all the preorders would lessen the in store demand. Yeah right. In good news, I found out that my XBox just shipped from Walmart.com! Hooray for me! -
And there's the screw up. Bad pass into double coverage, INT USC.
-
If they make it to OT we may be here all night. Neither defense can stop the other team's offense unless the offense screws up.
-
Yeah but he wasn't a defensive lineman. Low profile position + walk on = no Song Girl. Maybe their "fun" friend, the one with the "great personality".
-
If National Titles were decided based on cheerleaders, USC would be a 10 time back to back champion. The Song Girls are smoking. They make sweaters work oh so well. And USC forces a fumble, and it might be nighty night unless USC does something really really stupid on offense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please, don't say that. USC recruited me for football a bit during one of their down periods (pre Carroll era) and offered me a chance to walkon. For various reasons I had to say no. Missing out on 4 years of that still makes me upset. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If it makes you feel better, you had no shot in hell at a song girl. I mean come on...date a walk on? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for putting everything back into perspective for me. I appreciate it.
-
FG USC, but the game isn't over yet. Still 3 minutes to go and Fresno's only down 8.

Hmm. After seeing that shot of the FSU cheerleader, I'd say USC still has a big advantage in that area.
-
Yeah, Young's likely to go out and throw for 400 yards and 5 TD's against the Aggie secondary. Then he'll sit out the second half.
-
Holy shit what a turnaround. BTW I love this commentary crew. They're quoting Shakespeare, comparing each other's dog barks, and generally acting like they're broadcasting a high school game.
-
I'm impressed wih Fresno St. USC came out and took over in the 2nd half yet the Bulldogs are hanging tough. Only down 6 with 10 minutes to go.
-
Hey now, the Texans don't HAVE to throw their games, they're bad enough to lose them while still trying. Unfortunately, I can see the Texans getting #1 then Casserly trading it for picks so they can fill "need" positions rather than taking the most talented player on the board.
-
If the Texans pick #1 and take ANYONE besides Bush, I'm taking some C4 to Reliant Stadium. There are going to be several good offensive linemen in the draft, but there's only going to be one Reggie Bush. His picture oughta be in the dictionary under "Game Breaker". 396 all purpose yards...with 1:15 still to go in the 3rd quarter.

Well, Wal-Mart's website had 360s on sale..for about 15 minutes. I ordered it and they SAID that it would ship at launch. We'll see. Circuit City was drastically unprepared for their web only sale of 360 packages. They started off about 20 minutes late, then the website crashed about a minute into the sale. Was kind of fun to watch a website die a long slow death right in front of my eyes. Edit: Eh, Wal-Mart cancelled on me. Of course. Well, looks like I'm SOL for launch. I might just call in sick on the 21st and stake out a Wal-Mart or Best Buy. About the only chance I have left. -

Article from Merrill Lynch discussing how much the PS3 might cost campared to the 360 here. Doesn't seem like Sony's going to try to come in at a competing price pont, but simply attempt to outperform Microsoft. Going to be hard for gamers to afford both systems though, and a lot of people might want to simply try to grab the 360 now rather than wait for the PS3. I'll still try to afford both of them. -
She looks like she's about 12 months pregnant. Man that kid's going to be huge. I would give her maybe an hour after delivery to recover, then I too would hit it. Repeatedly.

That one right after Rey eats it at SS was classic (6:11 in). I don't know WHAT the guy was trying to do (almost looked like he tried to flip into taking a Crucifix Bomb off the top or something), but flipping over the guy, taking the unprotected nut shot onto the exposed steel cables, then just sliding off anf crumpling in a heap on the cement was hilarious. It looked like something out of an old Saturday morning cartoon like Wile E. Coyote slamming into the side of a cliff and sliding slowly down. Liger giving Sasuke the round of applause when he slipped off the top rope (4:00) was good as well. He didn't even try to cover it up, he kinda just went "Oops, we fucked up! It happens sometimes!"

ESPN Radio Host makes comments on passing

Mercifully Houston doesn't get this assbag (or if we do, I haven't found him). I too would like to know what happens to him. I would love to sit this man down and explain to him that despite his personal beliefs concerning pro wrestling, a human being with a family and friends passed away at a very young age. That is not cause for joy, mirth, or sarcasm. This is reprehensible behavior from a very small man, and I hope he is forced to pay a very stiff price so that he will remember that what you say and when you say it can have repercussions, something that far too many people in the media have seemingly forgotten. -
You know it's weird. I've paged through the thread on Eddy and it didn't sink in. It just seemed that it was from a parallel universe or something. It took reading about the tribute shows that I realize that we'll never see Eddy again. No more matches. No more backstage skits with his trademark smirk and smile that shows he really likes what he's doing. No more low riders. No more trademark shimmy in the ring when he's starting to "feel it". This is the lowest point of my many years of watching wrestling.

I'm pissed. I preordered a 360 from Ritz Camera's website (don't laugh, it's the only one I could find that wasn't sold out) back in the middle of September. I confirmed everything for them, and specifically asked them if it was going to ship at launch. They assured me that yes, they were still taking orders on the launch shipment. They sent me an email every week or so confirming the order. I started getting antsy and called them on Wednesday just to make sure. What do I hear? "Well, we're getting them shipped directly from Microsoft so we're not sure how many we're getting for shipment on November 22." When I ask if there's any way I can contact the supplier directly, they rep starts stammering. I get nervous, but I figure that they haven't told me one way or the other so I'm still OK. Then on Thursday I get an email saying: "Dear Valued Customer: Thank you for your recent Xbox 360 order. Our supplier, who works directly with Microsoft, has informed us that the Xbox 360 will be in extremely short supply throughout the Holiday season and into the beginning of next year. Unfortunately as a result of this short supply, many orders will not be fulfilled in time for the Holiday season. We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify you when the Xbox 360 becomes available. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is actually shipped. Sincerely, Customer Service" So now I'm stuck. I can't afford 2 Xboxes, so I can't go to Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or anyone who might "midnight madness" them because I don't know if Ritz will come though with a 360 and charge me for it. But if I don't make alternate arrangements and Ritz craps out, I'm screwed royally. I'm just pissed that they wouldn't plan ahead and let people know what they've got to work with. -

THAT IS AWESOME!! I loved Tron as a kid and on one hand I'm shocked they'd go to it since it's one of Disney's lesser franchises. Kinda like if they had gone to The Black Hole. On the other hand it's been a popular franchise for video games (Tron, Tron 2.0, etc.). I hope they manage to get Bruce Boxlietner, Jeff Bridges, David Warner, and the rest to do voice work. -
Thomas Haden Church cast as villain for Spider-Man

Does that mean we'd get Felicia Hardy/Black Cat into the series? That would get my vote. Or more Betty Brant (Elizabeth Banks, psycho chick from "The 40 Year Old Virgin" I believe) even. Dunst lost a LOT of her appeal between 1 and 2, and she really doesn't exude the Mary Jane "sexiness" that I thought she was supposed to have in the comics.
