Hey Andrew by "worst fears" do you mean multi part games? It actually seems to gaining popularity. Besides the whole .hack thing (STILL need to go back and finish that series) I know Too Human is planning on being an RPG trilogy, and I seem to remember another one but the name eludes me. I have no problem with a multipart game IF it doesn't spend too much time on things that just make you sit there (Xenosaga's 1/2 hour long FMV's spring to mind). Let the characters develop is short scenes as you play the game rather then throwing everything at you at once.

The problem with the Tiger Woods series is that once you build up your character, the challenge is completely gone. I used to use the money from the one on one challenges and max my guy out before I even got on the tour. Once I hit the tour I broke every single record simply because I could put any shot anywhere I wanted to. There was no chance I'd mishit a ball, I'd drive the green on almost every par 4, and a par 5 was almost an automatic eagle. Most rounds were in the 58-62 range. I swear, it looked like a lab put my guy together in a test tube. If the challenges were simply a side game and didn't provide the opportunity to help build your player it would make the tour a lot better. Start off as a "real" player, and even when your stats are max keep your guy from being a superman on the courses.

I used to love playing 1942 and all those games when I was younger. Then I bought Maximo: Ghosts to Glory and just about trashed my system, my TV, and my house just on the safe side because I thought IT was so maddeningly (sp?) difficult. Judging by how uncomfortable it was during the conversation about it, how few were in their hatch and the preview for next week, making it seem as if they were already familiar with the Others, a number of them are probably gone already. Either due to the 'disease' already striking, the Others picking them off, or gone metaphorically, such as some of them already splitting off from the group into another faction. Ethan wasn't on the plane, or at least not under Ethan Rom. It'd be nice if we could get some clarification as to which group he officially belonged to. He kidnapped Claire, but as we found out, the Others (who Ethan is presumed to belong to) were after Walt all along, unless it was as a distraction from their real goal. If he was part of the other survivors, then if Ethan went after Claire and knew there were front half survivors, then surely the rest of them would have known as well, unless he had split off on his own at that point. Desmond seemed surprised when he learned there were others, and if Ethan was with him, then Desmond would likely have already known. Then he blamed the Council for holding him back and not letting him become as powerful as he should have been. So, you could say that his turn started out of a lust for power. Yeah, it's a stretch.

So, 23 survived the crash from Tail Team, and didn't 42 make it from Front Team? Not sure how many there are currently after Ethan, Arnst, and assorted minor character deaths. Possibly another few small groups roaming the island? Maybe one matched up with each of the 6 stations on the island (if all six of the stations mentioned in the orientation film are on the island)? Would kind of be unbelieveable that none of the groups would've met up unless the island is a LOT bigger than indicated. Edit: Finished it. I liked it. $60 for a set with no extras and only 22 episodes? Yeesh. I was able to pick up both seasons of Due South with 42 episodes on 7 disks for less than that.

How I Met Your Mother made the cut? Cool. This past episode was my first chance to see it and I thought it was hilarious. Doogie (sorry, but to me he'll always be Doogie) is great as the Devil's advocate. "What's Krav Maga?" "I don't know. I think it's some kind of yoga maybe." I like E-Ring, hope it gets picked up. Pissed about Kitchen Confidential though. I thought it was funny and had some potential due to a pretty strong ensemble cast.

No Furies, no High Hats, probably no Turnbull ACs.... No money from me. I'll just get the original on DVD and watch it on loop. The character of the various gangs is what made the movie so great.

I've been a Chloe fan ever since the first season. Though she was infinitely more interesting than Lana, and something about her appeals to me on the visual level more than Lana as well. Of course, Lois ain't too bad either. I believe I saw her pole dancing in a preview for the upcoming season. Depending on how it goes, that episode may be on my DVR for a while.
