Trish the heel! I mean, Trish the face!

Ashley/Torrie.... The booking staff's worst nightmare.

No Mercy's in Houston? Since when?? This is the first I've heard about it!

WWE acknowledge that internet geeks might have a good idea? That's unpossible!

Serenity commercial! SWEET!

If Chavo actually manages to get this gimmick over seriously (instead of "Hey, bad guy! BOO") he deserves a title reign.

"How are you gonna put on the Masterlock when you're chewing on ten inches of leather?" Would that count as a +1 to the gheyness factor of RAW?

Boy, all 4 of them seem to be working pretty well today. Relative to their usual speed of course. And Raven beats Dreamer again. I mean.... Well, you get what I mean.

OK so now JR has told us Big Show's shoe size and ring size. I'm betting JR accidentally lets us know if Show uses "Magnum" size condoms one of these days.

Edge dropkicking the shin there... And here's the tag match we all saw coming last week.

Opening? We don't need no stinkin' opening! They don't do the cold start very often anymore.

OAO Friday Night Smackdown Thread
Conspiracy_Victim replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Crap, I'm pissed that for some reason my DVR didn't record it. I refuse to blame operator error. Anyone going to have a chance to torrent it? -
As if Seth needed a reason to put in more GWB jokes...

Sass is taking classes at the T.S. Eliot/Jack Kerouac School of Writing again. Either that or drunk. Maybe a bit of both. As for you Dama, I'd go all out smark. Of course, my job isn't on the line. Personally though, I'd love to watch them squirm when they're asked a real question in front of a reporter pool so they can't just blow it off.

The Ross Report for September 9th, 2005
Conspiracy_Victim replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm surprised no one's made mention of the fact that JR gives his fake endorsement to the cruisers while earlier in the very same article takes the younger guys to task for, "... the willingness to execute untimely high-risk maneuvers just for the hell of it." Seeing as how cruisers are just about the only guys who ATTEMPT high risk maneuvers, this strikes me as being counter-productive. I guess they have to justify hamstringing the little guys again somehow. -
Now that they've got a money man behind them with some financial backing I hope they take at least some of those God awful popups that come about every time you click on a link on IGN. Simply horrible.

XBox 360 at Amazon.com - No Bundles Needed
Conspiracy_Victim replied to bradolson's topic in Video Games
Jesus H. Christ. They're only video game systems. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Remember Cabbage Patch Dolls? Or Beanie Babies? People are wierd about things, especially when it's seen as "the next big thing in..." Me, I got to Best Buy about 10 PM the night before the PS2 launched and they had 100 systems. That's it. They weren't even holding any back for display. I was like #37 in a line that stretched about 1/4 mile around the corner of the strip mall by the time they handed out the redeemable coupons, for which you had to come back at 9 AM to trade it in for a system. I hope this time they just sell the systems at midnight. Seeing as how I don't get to sleep until 5 in the morning, that's still a lot of time to play Gun, Elder Scrolls, Perfect Dark, or whatever I can afford. -

Huh, I actually heard a rumor that Microsoft was going to promote a widespread pillaging by bringing it out the day after Thanksgiving, the busiest shopping day of the year. That would be a mess unless everybody did preorders or midnight lineups. A launch crowd + Christmas shoppers = disaster. -

Eh, it just tells me you can't preorder it except through a third party, none of whom are listed. I'm still betting I'll have to go through Best Buy if I want to get it at launch. Still figuring out if I can afford it AND Christmas for the family though. -
I had Putizer and actually dropped him in favor of Cooley. Putzier's not going to start in Denver this year, and there's not going to be enough balls for two TE's. Cooley's a sleeper who will work the middle of the field while Smurfs 2k5 try to stretch the field. Stevens is a blocking TE in Seattle, and Schobel isn't involved in the Cincy offense. As for myself, my QB's are Trent Green and Eli Manning. Unfortunately, they both have the same off week (week 5). Should I wait until closer to the off week to pick up someone, or should I try to involve Eli in a trade for a different QB, or should I just cut my losses and drop Eli in favor of someone like Kyle Orton or the Miami QB, whoever it may be?

Comments that don't warrant a thread
Conspiracy_Victim replied to {''({o..o})''}'s topic in Video Games
Johnny Cage becoming a joke character pissed me off. I was a big Cage fan, and Linden Ashby was pretty good as him in the movie (what with the huge ego and all), but all of the sudden in the games he becomes a huge jackass or dead. Here's hoping he becomes a slightly better character in Shaolin Monks. -
That's actually what concerns me about Willy. As he gets more time in the league and starts to see pitches better, he'll probably start making better contact. That means fewer of these dribblers down the line that he's been able to beat out this season.

Don't knock Seigfried/Nightmare. He's my favorite SC character to play when I'm screwing around. Sure he's slow as hell but his up/down swings and his grapple "bash your face in with my sword hilt" attacks are fun. -
The OAO Mystery Science Theater 3000 Thread
Conspiracy_Victim replied to DMann2003's topic in Television & Film
I've pretty much limited my set buys to the ones that I have 2 or more REALLY good ones (by my standards, at least). I've got volumes 2 (Angel's Revenge, Cave Dwellers, Pod People, Shorts vol. 1), 4 (Girl in Gold Boots, Hamlet, Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, Space Mutiny), 5 (Boggy Creek 2, Merlin's Mystical Shop of Wonders, The Touch of Satan), and 7 (Hercules Unchained, Hercules Against the Moon Men, Prince of Space, The Killer Shrews). The I have a box VCR set (Manos, The Gunslinger, Poopie) and Mitchell, I Accuse My Parents, and The Atomic Brain on Rhino video. All in all, I feel got a pretty good selection of their best.
