So it's either the Cubs, Mets, or Nats in your opinion. What gives you any indication that the Cubs will catch the Astros? Not trying to be combative, I'm actually curious.
-
Yeah but the Rockets spent their MLE exception on Stormile, and I highly doubt DS will sign for just the LLE of "only" $1.7-$2.0 million per. It'll probably take a sign and trade, but since the Rockets have I think 8 guards under contract and Dion Glover (who performed very well for their summer league team) possibly coming in, I wouldn't mind unloading 1 or 2 of them. Hey, the Rockets do have plenty of contracts expiring at the end of this season. If the Trailblazers want any of Moochie Norris, Clarence Weatherspoon, Vin Baker, or David Wesley they can be my guest.
-
That's it, no one mention the Astros. Everyone just keep talking about every other team but them. Nothing to see here, move along. Dammit! I've jinxed it! *prays to the baseball gods for forgiveness*
-
Rockets agree to undisclosed terms with Ryan Bowen on a 2 year deal. Well, hand the trophy to the Rocks, this puts them over the top . Really though, if they can resign Jon Barry and Deke and trade one or two combo guards of the dozen they seemingly have for a true point (Damon Stoudamire, come on down!), I'd call it a successful off-season.

Where too, Amy?? Good to see Kane taking after his brother.

Cue Matt Hardy, psychotic chauffeur (sic).
-
LOL At least they slipped another stretcher out there.

This is the most calories any of these girls have seen since they took up recreational puking.
-
And now a true test for Shelton. Can he carry not 1, but 2 stiffs to a watchable match?
-
Yeah, Matt Hardy's going to be the driver. That sealed it.
-
Dammit I wanted a "You Fucked Up!" chant at the midget.

MIDGET MADNESS!!! Where's Doink and Dink when you need them?
-
Umm...Mini-Vis? Where did this come from?

Look at that happy retard dancing in the ring. And Eugene too. (I apologize to our differently-abled posters for my insensitivity).

I'D give her a pearl.... Eh never mind. The obvious jokes sometimes just shouldn't be made.

Great spots from Wrestling Video Games

I think that automatically happens when you just avoid everyone. I've had it happen all 4 times I've gotten to it (it's the last tournament you have after the "ending"). I guess the programmers decided to take pity on someone if they had been beaten to hell in the earlier rounds. -
One of the funniest shows that Fox ever screwed over. This and "Action".

A-Ha in the grocery store. Great moment.

I've got no problem with the deep bomb per se. It's just when the computer's team is completely overmatch by my team in every position yet I can't hit a deep bomb for shit and he can go over my corner and the safety when I'm playing a Man Cover 2 for 45 yards it seems like cheese to me. Earn your yards computer. God knows I am. -
Yeah it surprised the hell out of me too. Again, in a good way.

The one thing that does piss me off about this game is the computer's ability to hit the deep bomb on an annoyingly regular basis. I can't get my receivers open despite high 80s-low 90s ratings, and the computer magically is able to throw a bomb over my SS's head (and him with an awareness in the 80's, so it's not like he's going to miss a WR breaking deep down the middle). I adjusted my sliders to make the game more realistic, but the computer just keeps hitting the deep bomb whenever it feels like it. -
Which DVD's have the best commentaries?

Cannibal: The Musical. Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Dian Bachar, and all the rest of their friends who were in the movie getting plastered on Jagermeister, beer and anything else they find in Trey's house. Listening to Trey's bitching about his breakup with the lead actress then his repeated assertions that they should hit a "titty bar" during the closing credits are particular bright spots. -
I still remember Axxess before WM X-7 here in Houston. Got both Hebners to sign my program. I even asked Earl if he was going to take a bump in the main event. He actually laughed and said, "We'll see." Didn't seem miserable to me. He was kinda just standing in the middle of their travelling Hall of Fame display looking a little bit lost. Well, they have a ref spot open. I vote for either Danny Davis or Fonzie.

Yeah they become a "pipeline" state that has more interested prospects than usual. I'm not sure but it may have a lower recruiting cost as well. Not sure, I'll check it tonight. Once you get states like Ohio, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, and Texas as your pipelines the game basically becomes "how many 4 and 5 * players can I get?". It's still fun, although I cuss the shit out of the game when I lose a prospect I had the lead on going into week 5. I also like the highest recruiting tactic being called "Bring the house". I can just imagine some kid opening his door and finding the entire coaching staff, cheerleading squad, and marching band sitting on his front lawn. Kinda like something out of The Program or Johnny Be Good. -

Yeah that can be tough. Ask Shane McMahon, it didn't look like he enjoyed it.
