C'mon folks place your bets, spin the wheel make a deal. I'm gonna have to go with Angle.
-
My, Eric looks like he's about to piss himself. Dude, don't tell me Cena's jumping. edit: Actually, after a moment's reflection, I don't think Eric would be THIS excited about Cena. I'm leaning towards Angle or JBL now.

Yeah Thrawn was the shit. Personally, I like the Han Solo series (prequel series that follows Han from childhood all the way up to his first appearance in ANH). Also really enjoyed the X-Wing series. Series of 9 paperbacks that followed Wedge Antilles through Rogue and Wraith Squadrons after ROTJ. Introduced many characters that are used in other books, such as Corran Horn, Booster and Mirax Terrik, Iella Wessiri, and Gavin Darklighter (among others). -
Oops thanks..I'll correct that. *weeps over his lost youth*

Dammit I want Elias Koteas as Casey Jones! Never mind, he's getting abit old and bald for that. How about just a real psychopathic Casey Jones, not a kooky sidekick. Kinda like The Punisher, only low tech. And a hot April O'Neil. And no Vanilla Ice cameos. Is that too much to ask for, if they MUST do another movie?

"Ladies and gentlmen, Mr. Ethan Hawke!" "Up and at 'em! Time to make another awful Richard Linklater movie." "Wakey wakey, Gattaca 2 got it's financing." A trilogy of Hawke slams = winner for the week.

That would be funny, but it would give me flashbacks to the ECW Fred Durst/Steve Corino feud.

Actually later on in the EU its discovered that Thrawn's exile to the Outer Rim was planned by himself and Palpatine as an excuse for the Emperor to suddenly have his best commander sent into the sticks. He was sent out to map the Unknown Region and prepare for the invasion that takes place in the New Jedi Order series. Plus, Thrawn would be able to drawn on his own people, the Chiss, for some replacement and parts (even though he was persona non grata with them too after the Outbound Flight Incident). The books Survivor's Quest, Specter of the Past, and Vision of the Future cover all that pretty well. -
OK...now I'm seriously considering getting the PPV. This might actually work.
-
OK I've tried to find out without posting, but no luck. What is the technoesque song they use for the first half of the trailer, I think right up to the point River starts whipping everyone's ass? I've heard it several times but I haven't heard the title or artist before.

RVD talks about "One Night Stand"
Conspiracy_Victim replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in The WWE Folder
Here's an interview RVD did with the Sun. He sounds pretty hyped, although it seemed to indicate he wasn't going to wrestle (I just skimmed parts, I don't know if he flat out said one way or the other). Interview -
Nice catch Morgan.

So.... are we going to have ECW guys responding next week? Heyman did claim it was "gang warfare" after all. Sabu jumping off the Titantron would be kinda cool.
-
So now Jindrak is jobbing to 4 ringrats and some powder. Yeash this isn't a shining moment in his career.
-
Wait wait wait.... Cena's a RAPPER? With a CD?? When did this happen? They need to advertise these sorta things better. Oh goody it's Third Reich time.
-
Well, if nothing else it seems like the commercials for One Night Stand kinda have the ECW flavor. I wonder how Tommy's going to kill himself against the Dudleys just to get a pop outta the crowd.
-
Angle with the somewhat suggestive pin there.
-
Angle channelling Rick Rude?
-
Pediatrician! President of Pakistan! Pain in my ass! Yeah, that was actually pretty funny. Cena can talk a little bit.
-
Well, it's not as big as a lot of other people's, but it's fairly respectable. My DVDs

Bah, IG suck . They make a great meat shield for Space Marines though. Anyway, I have always rated Maul/Kenobi/Qui-Gon as one of, if not my personal, favorite. You've got Maul busting out the DOUBLE-SIDED SABER~! for the first time, the unexpected break in the middle with the seemingly uneccessary rotating shields, Dui-Gon taking the blade in the gut, then a mere Padawan proving that he has learned his lessons well and besting Maul. I would have loved to have seen Maul last a bit longer into the series, but I guess they needed to establish Tyranus/Dooku as the main player in the conspiracy. I still don't particularly care for the movie as a whole though. I thought I'd pop my eardrums if I had heard Lloyd yell, "Yippee!" one more time. -
I love draft time for the NBA and NFL. Workouts, misinformation, and outright lies. Personally from what I've read, I would love it if Splitter fell al lthe way to the Rockets. Doubt it's going to happen though. Blatche would be another one, but Van Gundy isn't going to draft and babysit a HSer. If I had to guess I'd go with Turiaf or Simien. They may go backup 2 or 3 though to give McGrady a break once in a while.

Actually, they did, though in a really obscure place. I play WH40K, so I went down to a local hobby shop to check out the stock, and there were a bunch of Star Wars books for playing RPGs, I guess. Anyways, one of them just on planets, and looking through a few of the entries, I came across the Kamino one, which says it was actually Dooku, who took the guise of Sifo-Dias. Yeah, so completely unreleated geekery actually resulted in an answer to that one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, another WH40K fan! Sweet. That's really all I had. Please continue. -
Huh? Hell it's free advertising. There's going to be someone who sees this list and goes, "They hate it? Damn, it MUST be good!" I don't agree with the whole list ("Democracy and Education"? Eh, not that harmful) but the application of some of these books ("Mein Kampf", "The Communist Manifesto") did have dramatic, long lasting, and oftentimes fatal results.

Vince's mentailty for the ECW ppv (I'm SCARED!!)
Conspiracy_Victim replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I'd order the reply, buy the DVD, wear it out, and buy another one if that happened. Yes I know "New Jack" and "wrestling" are mutually exclusive terms, but the thought of him taking a stop sign and golf club to Tomko's nuts then beating Maven over the head with a computer keyboard while the fans are rioting in the stands makes me smile.
