Gunslinger57 I can do bass or guitar. I'm pretty good at guitar (I have a friend that's bvetter than me, so I think I have a bit of a complex) but I'm more than happy to move to bass if someone is better. This is all once I manage to find some place that's open and selling it. Mail's been a bit slow what with the hurricane and all.

You know there's a hurricane out there

Well, I'd just like to announce that Hurricane Ike was about as much fun as getting kicked in the crotch. Repeatedly. No power from 7PM Friday night (before the storm even really got serious) and just got it back at about 1:30 today. Temperatures in the 90's until the cold front hit and made it bearable. No running water. Food going bad. No looting though, so at least we had that. But hey, at lest I've got power back, none of that 2-4 weeks bullshit they were throwing out there as a worst case scenario. -
I'll say The Bouncer. Yes it was overhyped to hell and yes it didn't make any damn sense, but I found the different fighting styles of the main characters was enough reason to play it enough to fully develop all three of them. Plus, the graphics were actually pretty good for an early (release date, or near to it I think) PS2 release. I enjoyed playing it.

I thought maybe someone had seen "Necessary Roughness" too many times.
-
Wow, what a main event. /sarcasm
-
So Adamle is a passive-aggressive heel GM? What are the odds on "JBL plasters Jericho after the match to prove he's still main event"? Even money?
-
Time for the Honky Donky meter! Edit: Honk-A-Meter comparing him with the Honky Donky Man. My bad.

When cocky heels collide!!

Especially his own. I still remember a match he had with someone (Regal maybe?) where they set it up too close. Rather than move the target out a little bit he tried it anyway and clipped the top turnbuckle on the way down and nearly broke his neck. He landed forehead first on the mat and nearly bent himself double.

I wub this tag team.

Tickets to Wrestlemania on sale in 2 weeks. I'm going to have to check my credit card limits.

You must not watch ECW. He's like Rey before the injuries, with more martial arts-looking kicks thrown in.
-
They need to bring in Damien 666 and team him with Haas. People's heads would explode. HAAS WINS! HAAS WINS!!
-
Charlie's schtick is actually growing on me. Edit: A "CHL" chant. Charlie has gained 5 overness points from this segment.
-
Evan and Rey as a tag team. Are they just going to be referred to as "The Pinballs"?
-
Jamie Noble, as always, brings the funny. I wish he'd go ahead and use the "Redneck Messiah" moniker.
-
Agreed... "Hey Ari, I liked Medellin." "Well then, you're a FUCKING IDIOT!"

Actually reupped with my team after a very disappointing season (barely avoided getting demoted). My level 31 DT will not accept losing again. But hey, at least he gets to roll around in his cash pile like he was Scrooge McDuck ($200k per, $150k signing bonus). At least, until I hit 32 and I've got to upgrade all my equipment. Shit that's going to be expensive.

Yeah me too, that's why I'm going to pay it. BTW, I'm glad they're putting in a bass world tour. My friend and I play together and while I'm pretty good, he's still better than me. So, he usually plays lead and I get stuck keeping the beat. So at least I can get some practice in this way. I didn't pay for the horse armor though. Shivering Isles, yeah I got it, but fuck horse armor. My horse dies, I'll steal another one. And no way in hell am I paying for avatars.
-
I didn't say I wasn't going to pay it guys, I just don't like the double jeopardy involved. I'm just cheap.
-
We have to pay AGAIN to rip the music, after already paying for it once? BOO.

Well, I'm giving Bleach another go around. After fading out around episode 70 last time out I thought I'd give it another chance. I still enjoyed the Soul Society arc (Kenpachi is still by turns frighteningly psychotic and hilarious) but now it's over and I'm heading in to the damn vampires or whatever the hell they are that made me turn it off in the first place. I will push through though. I still need to find the newer episodes (everything after 139) and none of my torrents are downloading. I'm hoping what I've got takes me though to the arrancar and visoreds. I want to see the rebel captains (names withheld to protect those who are watching it now) get what they deserve.

So is Babylon like a new version of Cyborg with an even worse leading man and some extreme sports thrown in? Because that's the vibe I got from the commercials. And when IGN says that there should be a negative star rating for your movie, there's problems. Mel Brooks oughta kick the crap outta everyone associated with any of these so-called "parody" movies.

Dowloaded the demo and thought it was hilarious. The openning with your character headbanging to the tavern band got me grinning, and the interactions between you and the environment (going down the fish to get another weapon for example) are memorable enough to stick in your head. I'll probably download the whole game once I scrape a few bucks together to buy some more points.

Well, the Apprentice is Vader's secret (due to the Sith Rule of Two) so Vader tells him to fuck up everything (including Imperial) that might see him on his missions to keep the news of another Sith from the Emperor. And these missions are really about Vader corrupting the Apprentice and turning him in to a full fledged Sith more than anything I would guess. Yeah, Vader never really got into the whole Force powers thing, did he? A little Force choke and some saber fighting against old Ben was about it. I've read one possibility that Vader lost some of his Force ability when he became mostly machine (since it's supposed to be something that binds all LIVING things together) and I guess that makes some sense, but I suppose it really boils down to Lucas not having the special effects available at the time to really show him at his best.
