Hmm..Rico makes the big show two weeks in a row. WOW is Jackie whored up tonight. I mean even more so than usual.
-
Ahh...psycho Mick's always fun. Good to see Test's earning that paycheck.
-
Austin's walking? Must've had a few too many beers and didn't want a DWI (4-wheeler).
-
Well at least it was quick and relatively painless.
-
So now Benoit gets to play Rubber Ball man and bounce of Markie Mark as a curtain jerker. *sigh, tear falls*
-
Mark Henry! Woo I just won a dollar...FROM MYSELF!
-
Benoit vs.... I'm betting Mark Henry.
-
STOP KISSING TRIP'S ASS FLAIR! He SO deserves better than to be HHH's shill.
-
Benoit has people in his head? I thought it was the "hugely expensive" Jeritron 5000. I feel empty without the qualifying statement. Hmm... Benoit vs. Flair tonight? Also, good to have the "Whooo!" cut from the beginning of Flair's theme. Not like everyone doesn't know who the music is for.
-
Yeah Jericho is in full face mode tonight. Goofy "EVOLUUUUUUUUTION", ass-clowns, and no ponytail.
-
Hell yeah good point. It got me in the door as a freshman in high school and made me the backup in college as a freshman. Still do it in semi-pro ball, even though I only practice about once every 7 months . Shoot, the Texans even drafted a guy out of Texas A&M (Chance Pearce) who did nothing in college BUT deep snap. Guys who can do specialized jobs well are in high demand.

Don't worry. When it comes to walk-ons/tryouts it's all about one thing - POTENTIAL. They probably aren't expecting to find some 350 lb guy who runs a 4.7 at an open tryout, even if it IS OU. Just do your best and if they say something like "Good 40 time" come back with "Yeah, but it'll be better after a couple months of work." Show that you're in it for the long haul and serious about it, the coaches will notice. A 5.1 is pretty damn good for an OL, and if you improve it or maintain it while putting on mass, it's something that will jump out at the coaches. Besides if for some reason it doesn't work out you can still play it off when trying to meet women. "Yeah Stoops wanted me to try out for the team but I was hurting too many people *flex, pose, spit water*."

6'4" 270? Damn Damu, didn't know you were that big! I wish I had that size. When I was a senior in HS I was talking to Rice (when they were still kinda decent) and they wanted to recruit me but were concerned since I was undersized for defensive line (only 6'1" 230). Eventually they offered me a walk-on spot but no scholarship since they wanted D-linemen who were 6'4" or taller. That fuckin' close to a D-1 scholarship *sigh*. Anyway, to stop with the self-pitying, good luck on the tryout. If you can, get in the weight room and do toe raises and leg extensions as often as you can. They'll strengthen your calves and hamstrings and help your 40 time. Then do a lot of curls and incline presses. That'll help your arm strength and chest. As for bench, try to get up to doing sets at 225. Many schools simply test your strength by putting on 225 and letting you burn out on it. Getting your muscles used to the repetition will help A LOT. Even at my strongest I only maxxed out my bench at 380. But I burned out 225 at 25 reps, which is pretty damn good for a lot of NFL prospects. It'll take some time at first, but you'll start noticing a difference after a couple weeks when your muscles start rebuilding bigger and stronger. Just my $.02, and again good luck.

I don't have anything to trade, but you'd be my best cyberfriend in all the world. At least until the next PPV that I can't afford comes up . Really though being unemployed sucks. Another month of bills I can afford then people start taking my things away from me. In closing though, if anyone could let me know how I could watch I'd very much appreciate it.

Modding an Xbox? *stares nervously at his machine* No I have no idea what you're talking about. None at all. Although I did hear you can, say, put a hard drive on your machine and burn games directly to your machine and get emulators for different systems (SNES, Jaguar, etc.), and play movies in .mpeg format much like what JMT said. That's all pure speculation and rumor though. *hides his machine from Bill Gates' secret police*

Why Dirk Pitt is Exhibit A on Why Hollywood sucks
Conspiracy_Victim replied to a topic in Television & Film
Actually I just looked up info about this on IMDB, and found some things. Yes I know IMDB isn't always the most trustworthy source, but it does seem pretty good. Anyway, they only have a couple of cast members listed for the Dirk Pitt movie, which will indeed be Sahara. Not a whole lot of trouble with Matthew as Dirk and Penelope Cruz as Eva Rojas. However, they list Steve Zahn as Al Giordino. Excuse me, but STEVE ZAHN? The wacky guy from Friends, That Thing you Do, Saving Silverman, and National Security? I'm sorry but he doesn't exactly fit the book description of Al which is mainly a short, stocky (former nose guard at Air Force) swarthy guy. -
Huh? He quit last week right? To come back and wrestle a dark match?? Umm, wasn't it just Spanky who quit?

Huge Update On Chris Benoit's WWE Future
Conspiracy_Victim replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Hmm.. Well maybe HHH just wants to add him to his "Jobbed out Canadian Chrises" collectors set. Unless Benoit wins the belt at WM (HAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh I needed a good laugh) I see very little good coming out of this. Although it is good that HHH sees that he needs to get his ass carried to a decent match nowadays *looks at "tempo HHH is able to handle" line*. Don't be afraid to take 6 months, heck even a year, off if it'll make you able to go faster than Kevin Nash speed in the ring. -
Why Dirk Pitt is Exhibit A on Why Hollywood sucks

Man I used to LOVE reading the Pitt novels. The only one I never really cared for was The Mediterranean Caper, I don't know why. Anyway, I remember the rumors about the NUMA series becoming movies with McConaughey and was stoked. The books actually seem like a pretty easy conversion to movies, because they all seem to follow the same formula. Pitt and his sidekick (Al Giordino) accidentally get involved in an altercation, it leads to uncovering a huge coverup/conspiracy, they get put in some impossible situation, Pitt goes McGuyver to find a solution and escape, huge shootout at the end, good guys win and Pitt gets the girl. I'm still hoping they get the movies made, I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with books like Sahara, Treasure, and Dragon. -
Well, looking at IMDB I happened to notice another bit of continuity in the Aliens series as one of the stars of the movie is Lance Henrikssen, whose character's name is....Bishop. Kind of amusing. Hey DDR at the end of Predator, Dutch is last seen being helicoptered away after surviving what looks like a nuclear explosion. Did the novels say that he became like a Predator hunter and disappeared while on a mission or something?
-
Wasn't the whole Aliens vs. Predator thing foreshadowed in Predator 2? When Harrigan (Glover) follows the Predator back to his ship and finds his trophy room, there was an Alien skull above the throne if memory serves. I remember seeing it (I can't believe it's 14 years old) and giving a mental "Holy crap!" that they would have two completely different movie franchises from such different spots on the timeline converge. Still, since Predators have apparently been acting as interstellar hunters for who-knows-how-long, I guess they could have found the Aliens long before humans accidentally did. I don't know if the comics went into backstory or how in depth it went, but I'm kinda curious to see how the movies go, as in if this is kind of a "first contact" thing or we join in after the conflict has been established.

I'm a homer for Houston sports so I've got to agree with Nolan using Robin as a human speed bag. Also a nice brawl between the Astros and Expos way back when (like at least a decade ago) when Danny Darwin (aka Dr. Death) brushedback/nailed an Expo. Started a huge brawl where former Astro pitcher Jeff Juden (6'6", 230 lbs.) got body slammed by Casey Candaele (about 5'7", 160 lbs.). Truly a bizarre sight.

Dawn Marie..My preciousss.. Yes I'm not afraid to use a tired LOTR joke dammit!

I dunno Paul I've hear some of Rhyno's ECW promos and I think he does need his mouth washed out. It's not every day someone promises to "tear her fucking head off and shit down her fucking neck!"
-
Cena took a happy pill before the rap. I guess none of Rhyno's checks bounced.
